DESCRIPTION

The Lucrehulk-class Command Carrier is, quite literally, a revival of an archaic vessel which was easily identified as an icon of the former Confederacy of Independent Systems. In all areas, save for overall size and a minor difference in, armament, hull composition, and standard complement, the Lucrehulk-class Command Carrier is a mirror of its ancestor: the Lucrehulk-class Battleship. To begin, the revival of this vessel was accomplished by the engineers and designers of Druckenwell Shipyards; with the goal in mind of producing a durable, reliable means of ferrying troops, starfighters, and ground vehicles to their respective battlefields. To this end, the design teams needed to look no further than a history book in order to find the perfect vessel to fulfill this role.

In terms of overall capabilities, the Lucrehulk-class Command Carrier is, at its heart, a transport vessel of the highest caliber. While it is armed with a sufficient sum of defensive measures, and typically ferries a complement of droids, vehicles, and the like, its uses extend far beyond that of the battlefield. These vessels, due to their exceptional carrying capacity, can be utilized as means of salvation for planetary evacuations; or even in commerce!

As its ancestor was famed for its exceptional durability on the field of battle, so too shall the Lucrehulk-class Command Carrier. A norm practice for the Druckenwellian designers is to compose a ship's hull out of a unique combination of Turadium and Durasteel, thereby creating a lasting longevity in the face of a shield droppage. Coupled with the size of the hulls, and the overall "bulky" design of the ship, the Lucrehulk-class Command Carrier can take as much punishment in the modern era as its ancestor.

Finally, as aforementioned, this vessel is a transport engine at its very core. To this end, it has an unparalleled carrying capacity thanks to the "ring carrier" which is built around the "core ship". Within this carrier can be held an exceptional sum of metric tons' worth of cargo, whether it be militant or otherwise. All in all, the Lucrehulk-class Command Carrier is an icon of the past, revived for the present for usage by the Confederacy of Independent Systems.

Author's Note: This submission is quite literally the Lucrehulk-class Battleship from canon, with its armament and complement having been scaled down by a ratio of unit per meter of ship length.

Rusty eyes, because it's midnight and I'm about to sleep, but the heavy turbos and ions need to be scaled down to normal turbo/ions respectively. Additionally I'd like some clarification on the Droid Legions, as well as how much better an 'Advanced Deflection Shield System" is compared to standard.

In my previous submissions, I've always been of the opinion that Advanced Deflector Shield Systems had a durability that was approximately 1.3 to 1.5 times more effective than the typical Deflector Shield System. Also, due to the fact that this ship is, quite literally, a scaled down (based upon a ratio of armaments/complement to length) version of the Lucrehulk-class Battleship of canon, the Droid Legions match up to the canon exactly. The number is depreciated based upon the alloted length of the ship, and furthermore the legions are the exact size of a standard legion in the military.

This number is proportionally smaller than the 329,600 Battle Droids which can be stored in the canon Lucrehulk-class Battleship, which houses this number in addition to 100,000 passengers.

Dev thread looks good. Something I glossed over was the crew capacity, and while it matches up with the canon Lucrehulk I'd prefer you edit it more to where a normal 2K carrier's crew would be like, whether in organic or droid means.
