Lily Rose's Apartment [PM to Join]

Nar Shaddaa
A most wretched place . . .

Deep within the bowels of this city was a lonesome nightclub. The VonSchlitchen sat on the line of poverty and wealth. In some ways, it separated them and in others it brought them together. Rich and poor congregated in the club, but the building itself was the last line of neon lights to be seen before the ocean of slums that clung to the outer rim of the sprawling city. It was here that a Bounty Hunter resided, though few knew of this.

The music was loud and deafening at all hours of the day, and night. Purple and blue lights flared the room whilst female dancers swung their hips and swayed their bodies to the beat of the rhythm. Drunkards slumped over tables and slouched in chairs. Shady dealings were taken in the darkened corners whilst a host of sociable party-goers crowded around the bar. A staircase led up onto a walkway above the room and further into a set of apartments that was regulated by the owner of the nightclub. A bouncer stood by the stairs, ensuring no one without permission entered such an area.

One of the three rooms was occupied by Lily Rose. Single room with a view out onto the city. It wasn't clean, but not overly dirty either. The moment one entered the room they would be confronted by a white sheeted double bed. A plethora of posters decorated the wall. To the left was a large monitor with a direct connection to the holonet. The right held a thick titanium locker. Inside was her arsenal. The ASL-XI, AMR-1 Anti-Material Rifle, MP-77 and countless ammunition.

I wonder if they have mead in the place. Aerin had left Exocron on a little break from training. The lust for travel had arrived and she could deny it any longer. However, her thoughts of mead was only that she doubted it would be found outside of Midvinter, and the thought of it only served to make her homesick. That and the lack of cold weather. But she knew she would return to her home soon, the force kept telling her that, the whispers growing stronger by the day, something would happen to her beloved home and it still bode ill.

She entered the nightclub, no bow on her back but her long blade and saber by her side as always. Her leather boots strode along the hard floor surface only to meet with a sticky film which caused her boots to squeak. Aerin looked down and wrinkled her nose, the place was filthy. Her eyes looked around, widened with the view .. people of all natures moving about the place, some clearly drunk, asleep or roaring at the female dancers. She watched them for a moment, in disbelief. The Galaxy is truly a wonder to her, but not so this place. Well she is here now, might as well enjoy a drink.

With no interest in the dancers she moved directly to the bar and ordered an Ale. Let's see what the night brings.

She stood on the walkway above. Arms crossed, hands clasped and fingers intertwined. She leant onto the railing, watching the happenings below. She wore a brown undergarment that covered her from her thighs to upper arms and ended at the mid of her neck. It was relatively tight and thick. As clothing she wore a plain red dress with a high collar. She wasn't much for fashion. The clothes she wore were oft found among nobility on her home planet of Kesh, but on planets such as thing. Well, such fashion sense was outdated. The Keshiri were primitive in comparison to the galaxy as a whole. Her eyes scanned the room and fell upon Ærin. Strange. Whilst she new her clothing was vastly outdated, this woman looked as though her culture was even less evolved than the culture of the Keshiri. It peaked her interest, and the introvert didn't normally like to socialise unless it mean't business. She turned for the stairs and took them slowly. As she came upon the dance floor, she brushed past the other patrons as she glided towards the strange woman. She leaned on the counter beside Ærin, speaking "You're not from here, are you?" It was not a question of where she currently lived, but rather her home world. One would be able to tell this from the tone of her voice and the emphasis she placed on particular words.

She had already drained half the glass of Ale as someone approached and spoke to her. The only thing of Aerin to move was her eyes as they shifted sideways to view the woman in the mirrors behind the bar.

"No", she said placing the glass down on the bar and turning her body fully to the woman. She did not seem to think she looked out of place, brown leather trousers and a white linen shirt. And most dressed oddly to her, so maybe she seemed odd to them. "I come from a distant land", she added not prepared to give more then that. Far too many Offworlders had found Midvinter and the less the better.

Aerin returned her attention to her glass, "You are of this place?". She asked.

She looked into the eyes of the woman, maintaing eye contact. [member="Ærin Firebrand"] said, "I come from a distant land."
"Distant land, eh?" Lily said, "I don't suppose that distant land gets much foreigners."
"You are of this place?" Ærin asked. "Nope, I come from Kesh," Lily answered. The place itself was a remote planet in Wild Space. Though simple answers that avoided the real answer was understandable. For thousands of generations Kesh had lived in peace in their isolation. But eight-hundred years ago the Sith had manipulated the Keshiri people for their own cruel purposes. Since then, their isolationist culture had diminished. Though there were still cities and towns on the planet of Kesh that harboured a much more primitive civilisation. "What got you caught on Nar Shaddaa, aye?" she asked.

The Ale was getting low in the glass, and Aerin indicated to the bar man for a refill. "Holiday, some relaxation, however I think I have not chosen wisely", she said looking around the bar once more.

"I have not heard of Kesh, but then I have not heard of a lot of places", she said in a matter of fact tone, taking a sip from her new Ale.
