STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES
+ Improbable Aiming Skills: Whether it's his uncanny aim, dumb luck or a little assistance from the force Kyan is an amazing shot. Watching him fire his guns it looks like there's no shot he couldn't perform and even a skilled trick shot seems easy. The Ubese knows what to do with the gun in his hand and usually whatever he aims at he hits.
+ Quick Draw: It's an ancient art that involves drawing your gun quicker than your opponent can draw his and firing, accurately, at him. The Ubese is fast with his gun. Ballistics or Blaster it doesn't matter if it's in the shape of a revolver or something similar Kyan can draw it quickly and fire it accurately.
+ Uncanny Dodge: Like all Ubese Kyan is lithe and swift. Maybe it's this racial quality that allows him to dodge in and out of harms way so easily or perhaps it's his limited attunement with the force working to protect him. Maybe it's just dumb luck. Regardless of the actually reasons Kyan is extremely capable of dodging everything from projectiles to fists.
+/- Long Range Fighter: Kyan is a gunsmith in the sense that's extremely skilled with firearms often preferring smalls arms to larger weapons. That said he doesn't particularly excel at close quarters combat with his singular saving grace being that he can dodge in and out of trouble adeptly. Don't expect him to knock anyone out with a haymaker anytime soon though.
+/- Pistol Whipping: It's more of a preference when he has the opportunity really.
- Frail: The Ubese are notably frail in comparison to other races and there's no exception here. Kyan may be a little more muscular than the average Ubese but he's still frail in comparison to the majority of races and individuals out there.
- Can't breathe....: Due to the toxic atmosphere of their homeworld the Ubese cannot breath in regular atmospheres offworld. Ubese, as a general rule, require a breathing mask and specialized filters. Without some form of breathing mask Ubese slowly suffocate in regular atmospheric conditions.
APPEARANCE
Like most Ubese beneath his armor Kyan is slender, fair skinned and has bright, overlarge blue eyes alongside high cheekbones. Wearing his armor gives Kyan the appearance of being slightly larger than he actually however outside of it he's slim for his height, perhaps slightly a little more muscular than the average Ubese but still quite smaller than most other individuals.
It's clear from the graceful and precises movements that he's capable of making that he has fast reflexes and is quick on his feet when he chooses to be.
BIOGRAPHY
The Netherworld event is what truly opened the eyes of Kyan Vahhks. In a heartbeat his family was gone and he was left alone in the universe. Netherworld ended but his family never returned. Cold to the world the Ubese decided to venture out into the galaxy which is what he's done for the six years following the event. The Ubese holds no allegiance to the Jedi, the Sith, the Republic or anyone else but he isn't without his sense of honor. When Kyan makes arrangements with someone he follows them through to the letter and he has a reputation amongst the scum and villainy of the underworld for being a deadly shot....
At the moment he has no plans in the universe beyond finding his own way and seeing where that road takes him.
