KTech Manufacturing

Corporation Name: KTech Manufacturing

Headquarters: Kesh

Locations: Keshtah Minor

Operations: Vehicles and Shield Technology

Rationale:

Utilizing some of the profits from Taobh Dorcha Industries and MK Industries, along with some backing from minor local business owners, Tion Dr'iol was able to secure a plot of land on the Keshtah Minor continent. With the clearing of the land, construction crews went to work to erect the facilities that would eventually become the site for the company.

Once the facilities were done, and to show a sign of good faith to the citizens of Kesh, he only hired workers from them, rather than bringing in offworlders. However, he did bring in outside help in the form of engineers. To continue with the theme of solidifying a strong pact with the citizens of Kesh, he added to the board of directors the local business owners that had supported his vision financially.

With KTech now operational, they turned their focus to creating vehicles and shield technology.

Tier: 2

Description:

KTech would essentially create vehicles ranging from luxury to war based, however, they would be focusing more on the war based angle; since that was where the profits are. In regards to shield technology, it can range from droid shields to capital starship shields to planetary shields.

KTech will conduct business with any government type, remaining neutral in all political affairs. Though the company will accept private contracts, they prefer to sign long term contracts so that their product is properly represented in the galaxy or even sell their product on the open market. However, KTech holds fast to one stipulation that if a product they are asked to make privately will be used against anyone they have a standing contract with; they will refuse the request. Long-term contracts trump private contracts.

KTech believes in the policy of preserving the planet from which they are located. So if they are forced to remove natural obstacles like jungles or forests in order to expand their facility's size, they will scout another site in which to replant foliage to keep the balance of nature.
