Can a Hutt become a Jedi?

Jhar made his Jedi 'Beldoraan III' a Hutt. It was pretty funny. He was very benevolent and it threw me for a loop.

As tempting as it is to play a gungan jedi, I simply cannot do it justice. I will need to give it some more thought.
