Jedi Mission: Kashyyyk Investigation

@Aleidis Ijet, @The Wicked Truth, @Quenladose, @Cody Jorin @Republic soldiers

The world of Kashyyyk held many mysteries and as Quenaldose stood at the ready looking at the world she took a breathe. There wasn't much known in the shadowlands and exploring where they were going was away from most cities. It was deep deep in the woods and dark. The one thing she was glad about was having lived here but the Republic troopers well there were here in force. The Supreme chancellor had seen fit to involve herself in jedi affairs and while an ex jedi she was just that. Ex... as in no longer, now whatever they find might be talked about and it might be a private thing.

The other jedi who had come with them were good enough to do what a platoon of the Republic special forces could do but she wouldn't say such a thing. it would be quite rude and now with a smile Quenladose raised her mask hopping off the chair while talking towards the ramp. The location they were being directed to was far far off and there could be many dangers in the way. Not that she was worried, she wasn't the heavily armored one running around, no she was the four foot jedi padawan who no one knew the age of because they though her a child.

"Alright commander Jorin please stay close, the shadowlands are not a place to play around and we mustn't dally. The order has placed faith in us to retrieve whatever we can find around here that the starmap was directing us to."

Wether she'd admit it up front or not, it was dreadfully obvious that @[member="Quenladose"] lacked faith in the soldiers of RSFU's ARC troopers. Jorin had fought a Sith Knight to a draw while the men who walked with him now held off the man responsible for the outbreak of the Gulag virus. They were VERY capable soldiers.

In silence Jorin raised a hand and gave a signal for the group to stay tight with the Jedi. It was certainly dark, and Cody could see why these were the shadowlands, but he wasn't phased in the slightest. His HUD allowed him crystal clear vision, which allowed him to see the standard issue RSFU rifle in his hands, which he had raised and aimed down range as they crept though the woods.

Looking to @[member="Aldeis Ijet"] Jorin opened up a com line. "Where do you need us chancellor?" He questioned. While he was distracted with conversation, a specially equipped quad-gunner took his place on point, surveying the area with four barrels of awe inspiring firepower.

Quenladose continued to walk and breathed in deeply while she listened to the soldiers with her. She didn't really know what to feel on the one hand most of the other jedi had went with other investigations but she had wanted to come here to come home. So she turned around to look at the man and smiled speaking but looking for the Chancellor. "Shhh commander can't you hear it? The shadowlands hold many dangers but the most quiet last longer. Watch your steps and avoid any egg sacks you find. Crushing them is dangerous and there are older things down here. Older creatures even the wookiee's avoid."

Wicked and Truth moved up with Commander Korin and held their rifles taking a point while crouching low and switching to low light for their helmets. The chill from being under so much tree was imposing and if one of them fell... The though was something kind of scary... Now though it was all about moving out and they stayed quiet walking just like on Dxun. The soft spoken jedi explaining what to avoid at most if not all costs. Creatures egg sacks would not be a very good thing to trample. Piss off mommy but what else could there be down here of danger a seven foot carpet feared. With a hand signal they looked at the commander and motioned for a clear area so far.

"Keep a wide range of visibility for threats." Aleidis murmured quietly. She'd been with Cody Jorin on Metalorn - she'd seen what he and the RFSU were capable of first-hand, and had sent them into the Unreal City under the cover of an Immersion cloak. To say that she had respect for the RFSU's capabilities would be an understatement. "I'm not sure what we're here to find, but the sooner we find it, the happier I'll be."

Ordinarily, the Supreme Chancellor took a position of leadership over the military, akin to a commander in chief. But Aleidis knew her strengths and weaknesses, and tactical command of a group of soldiers was not among those strengths. She was here as a healer, she was here to provide utility support with her illusions and to help translate any Sith relics or other Force Wuzzardry they tripped over. She'd leave the finger points of command in Commander Jorin's capable hands.

Quenladose looked back at all the others as she breathed in deeply and crouched low to the ground letting the cold dirt sift through her hands. There was much down here and she spoke in a low voice. "Commander Jorin your going to want to keep up when the running starts." Then she let her cloak flutter before taking off into the dark area. Sending a message over the com. "Supreme chancellor, the location is far off, please hurry we mustn't dally in one location for to long or else the larger predators will grow interested. Your already attracting them with your force presence and Kashyyyk holds things that like the lightside."

(OOC: I had permission to join, hoping that is alright? :) )

Haven was already on the forested world of Kashyyke for a bit of a reprieve from the life of a pirate, she had recently been trying to train herself in dampen presence and thinks she might have gotten knack of it and even now she uses it to dampen her presence just in case there are enemies here, she focused more at the beaches of the planet and searches herself for more meaning to her own goal of trying to save others from tyrants and murderers, she had recently signed on with jack sparrow as a pirate lady and his cohort in crime, this was one fact she came to kashyyke to reflect on the current and past and try to find balance and harmony within the force.

haven was born to a mother who was a very powerful jedi master and seer, that doubled as a healer...her father was a sith dark lord and an extremely powerful one at that but he was still a good man, the stories she knew made him out to be more of a kind hearted being, he supposedly focused on sith teachings and the dark side believing one day the dark side would be recognized for what it is, a side of the force that has the possibility to do good in the galaxy, another cult of jedi, the dark side is.

Haven has both aura's and this truth to the light side of her is one that is constantly conflicting with even herself as she can use both the light side and dark side to either combat peoples, or heal them... it's a fact she has a big heart and such a kind spirit, but as it is she is nothing but a spawn of both light and dark, so she seeks to create balance in her life, reason for her being here...the planet has always been a source of the light side, it feels natural and comforting so she waits by the beaches and allows her mind to roam and try and find her own inner peace and balance while using the force to dampen her own force presence, she isn't that talented but she can hide herself well already...

"You seem to underestimate me Miss @[member="Quenladose"]." Jorin remarked before nodding to chancellor @[member="Aleidis Ijet"], acknowledging her commands. He raised his hand and motioned for the ARCs, @[member="The Wicked Truth"] included, fan out. The trooper continued through the forest with caution. The troops weren't force sensitive but even they could sense something dark was going on in these woods. Extremely dark.

"Padawan Quenladose, we are here to gather intel on a thing. We're not sure what that thing is, or where it is - but a blanket search would be best." She promised evenly. "The Shadowlands are treacherous, to be sure. But rushing headlong into them will only expose us to more and more danger. Our approach will be methodical and calculated. If it takes longer to find whatever we're here to find, but keeps our soldiers from undue hazard, then we will take as much time as we need."

"The larger predators will come regardless of what we do, at this point. We're not exactly keeping the lowest of profiles, here." The Chancellor added, moving forward with the Soldiers - keeping a wary eye out for dangers. "When they do - we will deal with them. The RFSU is the best of the best for good reason." The Ghostling added.

Having a healthy respect for dark forests was a good thing. But when you'd grown up in a dark forest, evolved to live comfortably in a dark forest, and were biologically suited to a dark forest, that respect was keenly lacking in fear.

Quenladose listened to Aleidis as the chancellor spoke and she remained very polite on the coms. "I am certain they are but this is where I lived for three hundred years before the jedi found me chancellor. Much like how I would not question your knowledge of Datar please trust my knowledge of the shadowlands. Kinraths are going to hear their footsteps and come, blaster fire attracts more things then a ryyk blade will and you only stay still if you have found a hollowed truck." The petite jedi stopped long enough to crouch low and oscure herself in some bushes while her voice came out as soft as ever. "Commander there are several kinrath moving around ahead. Please be careful they are poisonous."

@[member="Quenladose"] @[member="Aleidis Ijet"] @[member="Cody Jorin"]

Wicked and Truth kept moving up scanning the area. Hearing something was coming got them ready. Kinraths weren't that large usually, or at least dangerous but something with poison could still be dangerous even if it felt like being pecked at by ducks. They held their rifles ready wanting to be careful if anything this was like Dxun 'Only shoot if needed' mentality. They didn't want to alert more things they were about. No they wanted to remain very still until the time came. "Ready to move up commander" The two said in unison flicking their heads back and forth.

Michael could feel the tension between the members of the investigation. He shook his head at that, they were all in this together and they should act like it.

"Peace, friends. We are all in this together and we should ease the tension instead of pronouncing it. Even if only in mind."

OOC: Just a quick post to plug myself into the thread. Next one will be bigger, scout's promise.

Smiling underneath his helmet at the chancellors remark about the RSFU being the best, he was largely able to sound out the drone of a Jedi Knight talking about peace and such. They were packing the most heat an individual ground unit possibly could, peace was not on the mind of the group. Raising his hand he motioned for the duo of Wicked and Truth to take point of the group.
