Situation:

Taking off from Sar Galva, a small mining outpost in the Murul Trench on Mon Calamari, all the pre-flight checks had been green, but right now down in the middle of dac’s oceans, slowly sinking and smoking away, wasn’t the picture perfect take off that most passengers aboard this liner would have wanted. Many silver Jedi had recently assisted the planet against the pirates plaguing the shipyards here, so relations had become cordial between the SJO and the world, perhaps even friendly, so who could have done this?

With over 250 rooms, it was a big enough ship, but with just 25 crew, and security, it was mostly full of passengers. Many people decided to take vacation time on Dac, and that is what the liner was chartered for, a tour of the world, the oceans, and then a luxury trip home. The Ocean's View also doubled as a handy and luxury transport back to Voss which the Jedi would frequent from time to time from their missions, that is when it wasn’t sinking head first into the ocean! Thankfully sinking slowly, because someone had activated an emergency flotation system, but that seemed to be failing, or being sabotaged…

Onboard Deck 3 - Crew Quarters:

Lying face first on the metal deck, Amadis could feel a pounding headache, the ship was at an angle, having its floor slanted slightly as it was slowly sinking. He looked for the two that had accompanied him on the trip to the mining outpost, but his vision was blurry, and there was smoke all across the deck. Standing up, the grizzled epicanthix was wearing his usual green camouflaged Jedi robes, only right now they were torn, about him he could see the signs of what looked like either gun fire or damage to the ship from the outside.

All he remembered was a very loud bang before he passed out.

“Silvano?” Kei called staggering about, he reached down for his saber, fumbling, looking through the smoke, “Nima?” Steadying himself in the force the Master reached out with his senses to spot them.

No posting order here, post whenever you like after me. As with any mission I'll move it along if someone drops out, but feel free to rejoin at any time.

Onboard Deck 3 - Crew Quarters:

Silvano understood the necessity of mines. The people of the galaxy had a need for things that were made, powered and generally improved by things that were pulled from the bosom of various planets. Still, as much understanding as Silvano had for the necessity, he abhorred the current practice of it. The sheer amount of ecological damage done by a mining operation was staggering, and the one that had seen on Mon Cal had been a fairly benign one from what Silvano was coming to understand. In a fugue state for a reason that Silvano couldn't instantly identify, he could swear that he could hear the planet crying out for justice against those who would scratch, paw and abuse her. He could hear the planet calling out his name...and that of Nima.

In fact, all of a sudden, the planet sounded an awful lot like Master Amadis. Come to think of it, despite his closeness with nature, he'd never heard a planet speak.

A coughing fit brought more sense back into Silvano's mind. Smoke filled the room, but his hand was firmly grasped onto Olwa, the double bladed lightsaber that had been a parting gift from his original master, and her very very late husband. His hand was naturally curved around the wroshyr bark covering the exterior, force imbued to never splinter.

Silvano pushed himself up into a crouching position, attempting to keep his head below the smoke. He still had to cover his mouth and nose with his free hand to keep some clean air around him.

"Master Amadis!" He removed his hand long enough to shout, then replaced it over his mouth. He moved in the direction that he heard the shouts originate from, hoping that he found Master Amadis and Nima so they could figure out what was going on. Silvano's head hurt, and he knew he was missing some time before he woke up. He walked crouched down, trying not to rise up into the smoke if he could avoid such.

Nima Tann

Master of Her Own Destiny
Smoke, shouting and blaster voices... As she slowly opened her eyes, it was the only thing that she could see or hear. Her head was hurting like a lot, as if she bashed her head into the ground, and the possibility was strong too since she was on the ground. What happened here? She was holding her head, as it was burning with pain and her thoughts were flying all around. And she heard Kei's voice, but it was blurry and not clear, just like her vision. "Ke... Kei?" She only could say, as the smell of burning flesh and metal reached her nose, breathing heavily and coughing followed afterwards.

She was slowly remembering what was happening right now. A mission, they were going for a mission to save the innocent from pirates, and then... they heard a boom, then they were here. So much for a succesful mission, there had to be complications always. She took a look at her surroundings, meeting his worried gaze and another voice, a Padawan. She told him that would be dangerous for him, but he had to bring him along, well, more hands were always better. Getting up, her eyes looked for the lightsaber, luckily of all those things they lived, the lightsaber was in its hilt, safely waiting to be used.

"Are you all okay?" She asked, cleaning her robes from the dirt. They were pretty new, well, not that new anymore.

Pushing through the smoke he shielded his eyes, the crew quarters were a mess, and Jeu couldn’t hear or see anything down here. Focusing though upstairs and below decks the Master could sense movement, running and some shouting, but to pick out more, force sense was never his strong suit. “I’m fine, how about you two?” Kei asked concerned, he was bruised but nothing much.

Looking about for any hint of what had happened, or a crewman to ask, given this was the crew quarters it was surprisingly quiet, with just the occasional unfortunately dead crewman around. Kei checked on another pulse but shook his head. “Whatever happened here we’ve missed it, hold on, are we sinking?” He touched the craft’s wall but couldn’t be sure, no windows or viewports to hand, there was no hum from the metal either, meaning no sign of space travel.

A pyke was slumped against the wall nearby, probably one of the crew, he had a pistol in his hand, other than that, all you could see were red lights blinking above the regular lighting. Kei approached the dead pyke to check his pulse.

….

Nothing, looked clear. “check the rest of the bodies see if any can be healed, we should get to the bridge and see the capta….”

The small supposedly dead pyke behind Kei pressed a button of some sort, opened his eyes and scampered off. Kei’s forehead wrinkled and he caught him in a Force Stasis before he could leave, holding him in place while the small pyke looked around nervously. “Nobodies going to hurt you.” Kei assured.

“Th…they are!” Behind him… and that’s when the shooting started, at everyone, looked like tattooed men and women, aliens, no uniforms through the smoke.

Silvano nodded, relief at finding the Master and Knight well practically oozing from him. He took a look around, bending down here and there to check pulses as Kei was doing, but with equal luck.

Without looking up, Silvano nodded. Being as connected to the natural aspects of the galaxy as he was, Silvano could feel the level of the water on the other side of the bulk head. He poked a point about waist level on the wall next to him. "We are. The water is up to this point...we seem to be sinking more or less evenly, so I'd say whatever hole is in the bulkhead is on the ventral plane of the ship..." His voice was very even, too even. He was stressed, and more so than he had been in general about the mining and the flying through space. He still hadn't gotten used to that, his upbringing being to blame. The amount o dead around them might have something else to do with it.

Silvano was nodding as the small Pyke spoke and the shooting happened. A small thrill of danger in the weave of the web of life told Silvano that something was about to happen, being the only reason he didn't get shot in the back. He activated both ends of his saber staff and twirled it around behind him, then pivoted and continued a purely defensive twirl around himself as he saw the tattooed men firing. There wasn't much room for his weapon, which precluded any of the acrobatic stunts he was normally able to use to battle with. Quickly, he deactivated one end and took up a standard defensive stance. He deflected several blaster bolts back towards their origin points, but the smoke in the air prevented him from seeing if they hit their marks.

Unsure of what to do, this being his first mission with the Silver Jedi, Silvano stepped back, closing ranks with the Master and Knight in order to better cover them if they needed it.
