Jade moon, where fates collide and battles begin

Jade Moon:
It is said that long ago, a Jedi Master by the name of Jarix Mai-rix had a force vision. It told of a future of war, of Chaos. It spoke of two large events, an attack by a fallen empire of Sith, and an attack by droids. However, these events were not the focus of the vision; instead, it spoke of an event on the Jade Moon that would happen in the years after. Force users would gather, in search of an artefact. Sith and Jedi would meet and do battle. The end of the vision was lost to time, and it is mostly considered kark by those who know of it. That is, until the Incursion came...
Kenshin landed on the Jade Moon. He had paid a trader a few credits to let him stay on their ship. If all went well, that would be a worthy plan. Reading the prophecy of Master Jarix, it was clear that now was the time that the artefact would appear. As it happened, kenshin didn't care much for actually getting the artefact; his goal was to stop any conflict and follow the forces will.
Hiring a speeder, he approached the old ruins of a base where the artefact was said to be held. It was one owned by the empire, but later taken over by the New Republic. In fact, it was said that Princess Leia one visited the base. Kenshin parked his speeder at a nearby cliff, and watched over the scene with a pair of binoculars - there was no point instigating the conflict he aimed to prevent. It seemed that none of the others had appeared yet...

The wind today was sharp as a knife, cutting and whipping dust around the cracked dirt. Each aggressive step that Kal took left another heavy imprint of his foot in the Jade Moon's dry earth. The dust didn't bother him; with or without his armor. The wind was a force of nature, the perfect balance, impossible to be corrupted by man.

Rumors of a Jedi prophesy and a powerful artifact cursed this land, and now it was time for the artifact to show face. A true weapon to smite the forces of evil and good in the galaxy. Of course, he had more than just the artifact to find, he had to deal with whoever else wished to find it. The old ruins were coming up ahead and Kal's land speeder throttled as he approached.

Still no other jedi in sight. Either I've missed it, or there's an ambush waiting for me He thought to himself, making his way none the less.

The Jade Moon shined bright on the window of his ship, The tales of a powerful artifact were good enough a reason to drop everything and get there as fast as possible. Was he prepared for this? Not at all. Was he gonna let this oppurtunity go to waste? Hell no!

The ship landed in what seemed like a deserted area, he had no idea if he arrived at the correct place so he just decided to start walking. The walking turned into running as the exciting images of wealth and power started filling his head. Even though he was clearly clueless as to were to go and what to do.

One thing's for certain though, I'm not leaving this moon until I've found that artifact!

In The distance, Kenshin noticed two individuals traversing the surface of the moon. Sith. At this point many a Jedi would have attacked. But Kenshin had expected Sith to be here, and expected that more force users would come to fight them. At least, he hoped more force users would come. Fighting two Sith was a challenge he didn't wish to partake in. Either way, it was the will of the force whatever happened. He was just there to enact it.]

Kenshin force jumped on to the top of a building in the encampment, and continued looking over the Sith, hidden behind a communications post.

Kal continued his trek until his speeder reached his destination. The ruins were old and battle-scared, blaster marks as old as the moon scorched into the sides of the crumbling mess.

Where to start? The ruins weren't huge, but they were sizable. Taking leave from the speeder, the large jedi made his way to what he could only assume was an old temple. It was no exception to the battle marks. Large human sized cuts struck out of the temple; light-saber marks. Behind his mask, a look of disgust plastered its way onto Kal's face. All the deaths here were just magnifications of the galaxy at its whole. Dark and light jedi battled here for centuries, as they have through the known universe. All the pointless killing that they have caused.

This place was exactly why both the sith and jedi needed to end. A death to many for the good of all. What an appropriate place to find a weapon to make such a goal possible, Kal thought. Yet, something was wrong. The prophesy spoke of many, but now there was only one. Whatever awaited Kal on the interior of this temple, he was ready.

Caseek began hearing footsteps in the distance and decided to follow the sound. As time went on the barren landscape made way for a more manmade looking environment, something that looked inhabited but only thousands of years ago. But most prominent of all was the large towering structure he saw before him. These were for sure the ruins were the ancient artifact was said to be held. He even felt it, he felt the strong power drawing him in closer and closer.

Caseek wasn't sure what he was going to find in here, but he was sure that it would be worth his while. With that in mind Caseek began making his way into the ruins.

He also felt something else, a presense, although he wasn't sure where it was coming from. He was sure that he wasn't alone here.

Kenshin noticed the two Sith entering, and realised that he had waited long enough. He came to a realisation; he must be the Jedi from the prophecy, or at least one of them.
He entered the complex and approached [member="Kal Brennet"] .

"I've come to stop you! A fight mustn't take place. Neither Jedi nor Sith should have that weapon! It was placed here for a reason - to stop it from being used."

Kenshin realised his mistake instantly - He'd just started the confrontation, not finished it. Another thing - he'd not even seen the weapon yet. He had a good an idea what It was
as anyone. Why fight now? Oh well, the mistake had been made. There was no turning back now.

Kals expression remained unchanged. The man in front of him was warding away a fight, yet seemed to intend one as well.

Kals hulking appearance stood tall, as he made no sound. Not a muscle was moved, Kal positioned himself staring down the man in front of him. Reaching for his him, he let a spark ignite his magnificently red saber. Keeping it coked toward the ground, Kal shouted out, his deep voice scratching just as the wind.

"I don't wish to hurt you. Turn around and go back before I must."

Caseek saw to figures in the ruins, it looked like they were about to fight. Caseek made a bold move and used this moment of distraction to sneak past both of the menacing figures. He wasn't sure if they noticed him or not. He went into a narrow hallway on his left and hid behind a pillar. He could still see the two figures in the distance.

Caseek decided to wait behind the pillar, he wanted to watch the other people for a moment. Who knows what might happen? He thought to himself

Darth Ronan

"If ever a face meant death, if looks could kill,
Ronan didn't necessarily like going to other planets he didn't have much info on but he did it a lot of the times rather then needed, he didn't want to go to this planet but it was for research and or a reason to get out of such killing as he did to others and such, he really wanted to try out other vibes rather then just murdering people out of cold blood. Sure it was fun but he wanted to have a vacation from what it seemed like

The Sith Lord looked out the viewing window of his ship looking at the planet approaching he sighed- what would he have to deal with there? Would there be a Jedi there he'd have to deal with? Or worse a bounty hunter. None of the idea's of people being there licked at the Sith Lord's interest. Ronan walked to the piloting chair sitting in it and looking at the Auto-pilot button, Yeah- he wasn't going to touch it, Ronan would probably crash the ship if he turned it off, so Ronan usually just watched as he approached the planets not really going into the such flying as other Siths did.

The Sith Infiltrator broke through the planet's gravity field it slowly descended into the clouding lining breaking it as it emerged, The Sith slowly landed his ship with a bit of difficulty, though soon the ship touched down on the planets flooring

The ship stayed there for several minutes before powering down and the ramp emerging while releasing a white vapor from itself, A figure in clad black robes emerged with a slight mask, Ronan looked around wondering what this planet held for him, Ronan also sensed two other Force Presences on the planet it was another thing he could investigate.

Ronan roamed around the planet masking his force presence with Force Cloud, it was easy for him to do as he roamed around the planet then he heard someone say something, "I've come to stop you! A fight mustn't take place. Neither Jedi nor Sith should have that weapon! It was placed here for a reason - to stop it from being used." A figure said, Ronan turned the way of where he heard it, Ronan himself wanted the Artifact to study it, Or weapon as they would call it, "Weapon-" Ronan muttered as he turned towards the scene seeing a figure which smelled like a Jedi ([member="Kenshin Mamoru"])and another figure which smelled of the Dark Arts ([member="Kal Brennet"])"I come for the weapon not to use it but study it, I suggest none of you get in my way, I don't care if your a sith or a Jedi I will strike you down." Ronan said with a growl to everyone in the area, or atleast the two figures he saw.

They were a cocky bunch.

It was funny to him how old ruins seemed to attract those connected to the force to them at the exact same time, light side, dark side, it didn't matter, old things called out to them all the same. "You can just as easily study books, won't have to make as many baseless threats that way." Marcus remarked to [member="Darth Ronan"]. Leaning on his walking stick for support, the battered man shook his head.

The man had Sith written all over him, though [member="Kal Brennet"], and [member="Caseek Vadu"] were somewhat more complicated. The former less so, but even as his saber gleamed crimson, Faust sensed the man was no Sith. He didn't make any attempt to call out the young Tortuga, the boy was misguided, but not lost, not yet.

Something to deal with later.

"The Jedi is right, plenty of terrible weapons in the galaxy, no reason to go picking the bones of a dead civilization for theirs." He remarked, slowly moving forward, his prosthetic legs treading gently over the earth in tandem with his walking stick. [member="Kenshin Mamoru"] would've been someone he'd bisected some time ago, yet now Faust was siding with the warrior of the light.

Even now Jedi weren't something the Guardian fully trusted or understood, but they were better than the alternative, anything was. "Leave this place, there is nothing for any of you here, just dust and echoes." Marcus continued his slow trot forward, a cool confidence about him, unbothered by the strength of the darkness in those here. He knew his limits, and he was not at them, not here. He was here because the force willed him to be, and he had no plans of defying the all-surrounding energy, none would retrieve any weapon.

Another person defending the unknown weapon from being acquired by the Sith, [member="Marcus Faust"]. An ally, good. Kenshin didn't want to raise his sabre, but put his hands on it.

"Leave this place."

But it was hopeless. A fight was destined. There was nothing he could do. He ignites his lightsabre, and puts it in to defensive form. Prehaps [member="Kal Brennet"] would not fight, but [member="Darth Ronan"] almost certainly would. And still, they didn't know what it was.

Typhon was never a fan of listening to rumors, but when it came to power, he always listened. He had heard through a group of low-life smugglers in a cantina he visited about an ancient artifact present on the Jade Moon. Ancient artifacts typically had power imbued into them, in Typhon's mind at least. He killed the group of smugglers to keep the rumor quiet, and took off in his starfighter towards the Jade Moon.

He arrived to the moon, and slowed down his propulsion speeds in order to not go blazing into the atmosphere, assuming there was one. Before entering the moon's field, Typhon did an environmental scan using his ship and found it was okay to enter. He pushed up his propulsion enough to get through the gravity field, and turned on the landing shift protocol. Typhon's ship landed itself, and he quickly hopped out, preparing for whatever awaited on this barren moon. The dust in the area around him and his ship was spread out now after the landing, but footprints could be seen leading in a narrow direction.

He wasn't an idiot, and knew that the sound of him landing would attract attention if anyone was here, he knew he needed to get out of the area quickly. He had no direction, so his best bet was the footprints. He followed them straight, until he saw rural and broken down structures in the distance. He knew he had to be close to what he was searching for, and sped up towards the structures. When he got close enough, he realized they were ruins, ancient ruins. The footprints went further ahead into the ruins, so Typhon knew he would not be alone.

He pulled his saber off of his belt, and charged into the ruins, ready for what awaited him. He would attempt to decode what was on the structures and walls but typically failed. He could feel a power. Something that was calling to him from within the ruins.

As he pushed through the ruins, he could hear the sound of talking between men. He hid behind a nearby pillar and could sense very strong people close to him. Typhon knew it was now or never that he makes his move. The men were in such a small vicinity to each other, this was perfect. Typhon would close his eyes and concentrate on the structures surrounding him and the men. The structures would begin cracking and piece by piece they would collapse in the area of the men.

"I would rethink your words, boy" Kal boomed again.

It was no matter. Kal turned his attention toward the temple and began making his way to the entrance again. Too many people awaited for the battle on the outside, and Kal didn't want to be involved.

Anger began to flow through his veins, his mind becoming clouded as he awaited whoever was going to battle him. Kal was going to cut them down as an example to all the others.

Darth Ronan

"If ever a face meant death, if looks could kill,
When Ronan saw more people approaching he chuckled- soon the chuckle turned into a small laugh then into a full blown laugh, "Ah- You all make me laugh, You all want to fight so soon, Why draw your saber if I have no intention of fighting you, It wouldn't be even remotely fun or time taking, Even as a Sith of myself I did not draw my saber did I? It's because I do not want to waste any energy on fighting you, It's almost captivating on how you think I would fight you" Ronan said with a grin behind his mask.

"You can just as easily study books, won't have to make as many baseless threats that way." The Figure said.

"Books aren't the same- I've read everything I could- I consider myself a scholar you should see my ship the books scattered around it's fairly funny, but I want something I can interact with, I don't wish to use the weapon for its purpose- I wish to deconstruct it and study it, Books don't hold the same knowledge of you being able to touch it- to feel it, that's why I want it." Ronan said.

Ronan looked up at the temples foundation giving it a quizzical look, Ronan smelled something within the air, he kept sniffing as if he were a dog, he looked at a pillar near him, "Who is behind the pillar?" Ronan asked with a sly smile.

As more and more people started filling the room Caseek started to worry, he might not have been the smartest Togruta out there but even he knew that this was too much competition for him too take on. Still, he came all this way and he was gonna make sure it wasn't for nothing. He was clueless though, he had no idea were to find the artifact or how to get past this group of clearly superior people. Caseek thought that maybe if he waited long enough and followed everyone, the others would just lead him to the artifact. But it looked like that wasn't going to happen any time soon.

As Caseek was still watching the others, and closely listening to every word they said, his situation grew more dangerous. He heard one of the sith, "Who is behind the pillar?". Caseek's heart stopped for a moment, what should he do? Stay behind the pillar and avoid confrontation, or step out and reveal himself.

Caseek wanted to make a run for it, but where to? What if he got lost? He decided to step out and reveal himself, foolish? Probably. He didn't dare say a word yet, the overpowering might before him had shut him up. He just stood there and stared at the others, he didn't know what else to do.

Meraal's fighter cockpit was flashing more lights than a well funded life day celebration. The ancient starfighter creeked in agony as she exited hyperspace. Unbelievable, I just got her back from the mechanic too. Maybe there's a reason that this model never saw use after the Clone Wars.

Meraal's thoughts were rudely interrupted by a light on the console informing him that his hyperdrive was now offline. Meraal checked his sensors to see if there were any planetary bodies nearby that he could land on to make repairs. The closest one was a moon of Loronar, the Jade Moon, and luckily it had a breathable atmosphere. Meraal plotted a course for the Jade Moon, putting in landing coordinates near what looked like an abandoned facility of some kind. Maybe that facility will have some spare parts I can use to make my repairs.

Meraal landed the rebuilt ARC-170 within 400 meters of the abandoned buildings, popped the fighter's cockpit and grabbed the DC-15AB he kept in the copilot's seat. Meraal felt a strange feeling in the force that he hadn't felt in orbit, and got the feeling that he wasn't alone here. As a precaution Meraal went to retrieve his armor stored in the tailgunner's cockpit, but when he tried to open the hatch it didn't budge. Meraal began walking towards the abandoned buildings with his rifle in hands. Oh well, if the place really is abandoned I certainly won't be needing armor. Maybe I can find something to pry open the rear cockpit in the ruins.

As Meraal walked through the dust and winds, he found himself walking towards a building that looked out of place. The building's architecture reminded him somewhat of the Jedi Temple that he had been in on Coruscant years ago. Meraal continued his march and before he realized it he was standing on the edge of a small group of people, one of which was holding an ignited, red lightsaber. Just what I needed, a Sith.

Meraal smiled at the terrible luck of his situation, he was only wearing a civvie jacket and trousers, and he had run across a Sith, possibly even multiple Sith. Meraal lowered his DC-15AB and rested the weapon's stock on his boot, barrel pointed to the sky. "I don't suppose any of you have a hydrospanner I could borrow?"

Typhon would hear the question, "Who is behind the pillar?" and would realize his time is short. Typhon would step out from behind the corner, with his mask and robe being revealed. He'd ignite his single-bladed red saber and hold it downwards at his side.

"I assume we are all here for the same thing. How about we find it together, and then figure all of this out at the end?"

Typhon didn't like the idea of working with Sith or Jedi, but he knew it was the best way to get through this situation.

It wasn't that this was a bad idea, really it was just reckless.

Cecilia hopped off the last portion of the boarding ramp, and was immediately hit with an intense feeling of unease. It surprised her, both in its intensity and unnaturalness. She wondered if it had anything to do with the "Force" powers that she was beginning to understand she had. In fact, a desire to understand those exact powers was the reason she had come to this place. Frankly Cecilia desired to understand everything and was willing to go through quite a lot to do so, and such a feeling was only intensified when the unknown had to do so intimately with herself, which was why she was willing to take such a risk to figure out what the "force" was. She had overheard a group smugglers talking about some artifact or something on this moon, and something about how many force users would flock here. She figured that smugglers wouldn't bother making up a rumor that didn't involve money, so she assumed the lead correct, or at least more correct then all her other lea-- oh wait she didn't have any other leads, so why not. Although thinking back, the thing that most convinced her was finding all three smugglers dead in an alley later that day, apparently killed by someone with a lightsaber who was either too powerful, careless, or forgetful to bother hiding the bodies. At least she thought they were lightsaber wounds. She had never seen a lightsaber, much less seen someone stabbed by one, but that's what she thought it would look like.

On second thought this was a bad idea.

Ahead of her to her left she saw a fighter, the integrity of which was questionable, the age of which was not. An ART-170 if she was not mistaken. Or not. An ARC-170 according to lettering on the spacecraft. Either way, she didn't care that much about the starfighter, as she wasn't entirely sure if she would survive a ride in it. Although currently she was more concerned about surviving a meeting with its pilot, who undoubtedly lay ahead of her. Anyone able to afford a starship, no matter how bad, still had starship, and she did not. And that meant that they were more wealthy then she. And that meant they were more dangerous than she.

But on the other hand, if this person was in fact a skilled force user, and had not yet caught up to the other dangers that could very well be here. And even if they were the most evil of Sith lords, surely it was not worth their time to kill some random mundane human that happened to run into them. Yes she decided, meeting this person one on one was the best option. With that decided, she picked up the pace, hoping to intercept them before they reached others.

It wasn't that this was a bad idea. In fact, this was a terrible idea.

He had reached the others, and apparently he was not a "skilled force user" either, as he was holding a blaster. Cecilia had never heard of a blaster wielding Jedi, and moreover, he appeared to be a common civilian. He had probably seen her approach, as he had come from his starship while she had walked past it. He certainly saw her now, as she was standing about 15 feet to his right, both of them looking down in the situation below, which she agreed should probably be his primary concern. Coalition or confrontation, she could not tell which of the two she was witnessing forming in front of her, with two lightsabers... drawn?... both their wielders and those around them seemed to be going through the same thoughts as she was: Friend or fight. Alliance or assault.

The lightsabers of those who she presumed to be Sith seemed to be screaming the latter. Crimson, the color of blood and agony a bringer of death and symbol of fear. Their blades glowed with a red light that cast the whole scene in its sheen, the sabers seeming to compete with each other to see who could best express to those observing the blood-lust of their masters. Would their terrifying urge be suppressed or unleashed? While Cecillia contemplated the nightmares that could unfold before her eyes, the sabers hummed along, as if all was normal.

Suddenly, the man to her left spoke "I don't suppose any of you have a hydrospanner I could borrow?"

Somewhat startled, but grateful for being rescued from her own mind, and refreshed by the jarring normalcy of the question, unconsciously taking a step backwards from the group before her Cecilia turned her head towards the man and replied:
"Uhhm, as a matter of fact, I do. Always carry one."

OOC:
First post ever on this forum, let's go!!!! Happy to be RPing wit you all, let's have some fun! (My Intro)
Also sorry for it being so long. It actually took me two hours to write, I just wanted to write as much as I could to try and get used to creative and descriptive writing, and get a better understanding for myself and others of who Cecilia is and what she will be like.

Meraal let out a relieved sigh,
"Thank the force. My spare got locked up in the rear cockpit of my ship and I was worried I was going to have to comb this place for hours to find something to help pry it open."

Meraal took a slow look around the group, and chewed over the situation in his head. There were lots of force users all around some ruined buildings. There were probably things he could find here that would help him better understand the force, but he didn't feel too comfortable thinking about fighting force users without his armor. He carefully weighed his options and made a choice.

Meraal grinned and looked to the woman who said she had a hydrospanner, "I'm guessing this is something important. Don't let me keep you from whatever this gathering is, but if you wouldn't mind lending it to me after this is over I would greatly appreciate it."

Meraal decided to stop resting the stock of his rifle on his foot and shouldered the weapon, barrel pointing toward the ground. Things seemed to be fine at the moment but lightsabers were ignited and he didn't have to be force sensitive to sense tension hanging in the air.
