Description: Constructed by the efforts of Tantorian Industries and the First Order together, the Citadel was built on and within a mountainside. In times of emergency, the facility possesses a shield generator that spreads across it entirely, save for specific structures, such as the three planetary ion cannons positioned in the shape of a triangle around the Citadel, with the Base being in the centre. With the planetary defenders in place, it allows there to be a smaller naval force in orbit of the planet had the planet been without the defenses.
Upon the battlements of the facility are numerous mounted blaster cannons to dishearten infantry forces from rushing the walls or deploying upon the battlefield via dropship.
The structures outside of the mountain complex are surveillance rooms, barracks, and armouries so as to be closer to their stations in the event of battle. However, there is only enough room to house up to six hundred men, while there being space for an additional eighteen thousand Stormtroopers within the mountain and underneath the Citadel.
Within the mountain complex are the extensive training rooms that feature simulation rooms with a variety of interchangeable obstacles at the discretion of the commanding officer to choose from when in training. In addition, the facilities within are so deep within the mountain that even advanced sensors from orbit are incapable of getting an accurate reading of the amount of life within the Citadel as a whole.
In orbit of the planet and strewn about the system are many gravity mines that will pull any ship out of Hyperspace. The First Order and affiliates bypass the system in place with calculated jumps that'll have them pass the false masses harmlessly, however it leaves little room for mistake when plotting hyperspace jumps through the Ison System, it is one of the many reasons there is a minuscule naval defense fleet.
Finally, the underground Hangar Bay of the Base leads out of the mountain, having numerous exit tunnels for multiple points of deployment.
History: After meeting with superiors and High Command, as a bridge between both the First Order and his family business, Tantorian Industries had begun construction on a military base on the planet of Ison. As the leader of a Regiment that allows for rapid responses across First Order Space, instead of being based out of Dosuun, the 482nd Legion along with whatever other units are temporarily stationed there, are given a base on the border with the Galactic Alliance.
The idea stemmed from the depths of A'sharad Graush's mind when the Galactic Alliance had spearheaded their invasion into the heart of the One Sith Empire by taking Coruscant. With that action in mind, early warning for the capital of the First Order was put in place in the form of this Citadel as a first line of defense.
Intent: A main base of Operations for the 482nd Infantry Legion to be stationed.
