Invasion of Nar Shaddaa (Reps vs. Suns)

Grandmaster Selena Halcyon paced on the bridge of the Calm Wind, a MC180 Remembrance-class Battlecruiser. Naval officers and personnel worked hastily at their positions. She was certain that every bridge of every warship in the Republic fleet currently flying through hyperspace was just as hectic. However, despite her pacing about, Selena was the picture of calm. Her face serene and her eyes focused. Just watching, observing the actions.

"How much longer till be drop out of hyperspace?" asked Selena.
"Exiting hyperspace in five minutes," came the warning from the navigation officer.
Selena nodded to him. Time then, "When we drop out of hyperspace activate the crystal gravfield trap immediately. They have a large cloaked vessel, I want it found immediately. Relay any abnormalities to the fleet with coordinates. If it appears in a hostile manner, every gun in the entire fleet is to open up on it. They already declared war upon us when they attacked our diplomats, however, I would prefer to not to immediately open fire upon them.
"Relay message to everyone in the fleet that the moment we come out of hyperspace fighters to be scrambled, soldiers loaded into transports and be ready to assault the planet itself. We have readings that our people are currently there. I intend to see them returned to Republic space safely. Weapons should be primed and ready. They make any kind of move at all, we show them the full force of the Republic and that we will not stand for their continued cavalier attitude towards our sovereignty and our citizens." After the orders were sent a moment of pause was allowed.

The orders were out and she was sure that things just got all the more hectic throughout the fleet. Already chaotic hangers would be even more hurried as they got ready to exit the ship as quickly as possible once it was out of hyperspace. Some shuttles would be set aside for Selena as well.

"10 seconds," said the nav officer.
"Get an open channel ready," Selena said, which got a nod from the communication officer.
The white lines of stars quickly turned into dots. Through the viewport Selena could clearly see the space station, Nar Shaddaa, as well as Nal Hutta. As soon as the comm officer gave her a thumbs up, "This is Grandmaster Selena Halcyon of the Jedi Order, representing the Republic. Less than a week ago we sent diplomats here to speak with your Vigo, a Dark Jedi, known as Domino requesting them to stand aside from our future actions in the galaxy. Instead of treating them with dignity they were attacked and we have not heard from them again. This act of war will be answered in kind much to the distress of the Jedi Order and the Senate.
"No longer will we give this cartel known as the Black Suns any kind consideration as a psuedo-government. We are here to put an end to its extortion and blood money levied upon the natives of this sector under the guise of taxation. We are here to cease the abuse of its citizens and return this sector to its rightful rulers, the noble and ancient Hutts. The days of the Republic sitting idly while tyranny and criminals masquerade as legitimate governments are over. In short, we bringing about galactic peace by eliminating this criminal organization."

Diana stood quietly looking out the blinds of a window in an apartment. She said nothing as she stared through the blinds, a frown on her face. Slowly she drew back from the window, and turned to the apartment. Inside was Daella and Sopher, the three of them had been run for the last day and a half and had quite easily disappeared into the underbelly of Nar Shaddaa. It had taken only a few hours for them to find this abandoned apartment, it was one of many millions on this world.

She assumed that this place was owned by some slum lord, some man or woman who had taken over the place and never bothered to fix it. Quite honestly the place was a cesspool. There was water dripping from the wall, small insects crawled across the floor, and walls had massive cracks in them. It wasn't any place that Diana would ever stay if she had a choice, but at the time she didn't really have any. She frowned and walked over to @[member="Daella Apparine"], completely ignoring @[member="Sopher Jakobs"] who sat in corner with a happy meal from McYoda's.

“Theyre here.” Diana said quietly as she pointed to the beacon on her waist. The beacon was a small device that all Jedi carried, a way of recalling them. The fact that it was now activated meant that as expected the Republic had come.

Now Diana and Daella had to decide what to do next.

Once again, the Padawan under the tutelage of @[member="Syn"] was about to face another battle. As a member of the Order, he has seen more battle than before, when he was a hired commando for the Republic. The Jedi were indeed the protectors of the Republic and Paladins of the Force. The current operation being spearheaded by the GrandMaster of the Order herself was tangible proof of their commitment and desired to erradicate the darkside and to promote the morals of the Republic.

Although he has been a Commander of a Republic fleet in previous missions, this time he was waiting for further instructions to engage the Black Sun and their agents of the darkside. He had his personal X-Wing on stand by just in case he was ordered to intercept any fighters, he was ready to be sent to any dropship or even to take command of a Capital ship and provide his own tactics... Personally, he was hoping he could use his skills and engage in battle with the sith directly... but he was bound orders just as much as he was bound to the will of the Force.

The young man remained silent as usual, among the batch of members of the Order stationed in the Remembrance. He reached at the Force to calm his feelings and to remain focused. He had to, it was what his Master taught him... among many other things.

Vex looked at the wonderful speech of the GrandMaster and remained without specific expression on his demeanor, he was definetely inspired by it, perhaps that was the reason why she was choosen as head of the Order and today, as representative of the Republic against the Black Sun. Still, he just waited for the reply of the Black Sun and the specific orders he would receive... or perhaps the general commands that they would get as Padawans...

Mr. Ash packed his suitcase with his very special, very fragile package. The little brats wanted to display their arrogance. The Jedi weren't going to tame him, or stop him. Domino....needed his protection his best skills were to be used today. So he walked the streets, evacuating personnel. Men in block uniforms, matching his immaculate suit. He sighed as he nodded to troops. "Get every civilian into a bunker. This planet will not have millions die at the whims of warmongering Jedi," He said coolly.

He looked around. His people. His home planet for decades, now. He loved Nar Shaddaa. He had tried to help make this planet mean something. And now, it was his turn to make his play. The biggest damn play ever. Ah, well. It'd being when things started moving. He walked to the building, climbing up to the roof. Grinning. An empty building, save for troops. He focused, tuning in his comm-link. He had keyed in holoprojectors from almost every casino in a block. He just needed to time the button right.

The wonderful thing about not already being engaged in a war for Valen as well as not having to secure your flank from the sith was that you could concentrate a much larger portion of your fleet in one spot. So while the Republic's total fleet was much much larger, the Black Suns (a totally legitimate government victim of long-running smear campaigns) were able to gather an adequate opposing fleet. Along with the system fortifications and planetary shield, the home field advantage could safely be assumed to be theirs.

As for the ship and Station Six, neither were in sight either on regular scanners or CGT scans of the densely populated system. Domino had likely warped her personal residence away to preserve it should actual war come, but as for the stealth ship; it could have been warped off as well or out there watching for the right moment to strike, hidden by its cloak and the gravitic modulator that prevented its grav signature from being read.

Domino had however stuck around herself for awhile, she didn't want to leave her successor 'in the lurch' as the situation was. Her own broadcast responded to @[member="Selena Halcyon"] . "Hello!" She said much to cheerily for someone being invaded. "It appears I must apologize for that. You see, I was under the impression that as upstanding as the Republic was, they would uphold the words of their own Supreme Chancellor when he personally told me that you had been exiled for war crimes along with our agreement for continued peace. Since neither was the case, and indeed they seemed unaware of the later, that combined with their hostile demeanor convinced me that were they not assassins, they were most certainly rogue Jedi seeking to cause disharmonious relations between our peoples and possibly an attempt to provoke an attack against the Republic. The incident you refer to happened as we attempted to detain your 'diplomats.' If they would like to present themselves to the nearest shuttle port or other such facility I've already ordered their safe return." Now the Twi'lek took a much more serious tone. She didn't appreciate people belittling the star nation she'd worked so hard to maintain. "As for the rest of your speech, the Suns are recognized as a legitimate government by six of the other major governments and has correlating offices and services. What you cal blood money," you could hear the distaste in Domino's voice, "goes to education, public services, and medical care. Probably with less graft than in your own government offices too." Once again her tone brightened to cherry levels. "Anyways, in closing I would like to say that you obviously have never met a Hutt for more than a few minutes and that as of now I've stepped down as Vigo for the Black Suns! In my place I'm leaving my head of security @[member="Grundark"]. If you'd like to attack you may go ahead but I've already put the call out to our allies in anticipation of this." The next bit was still clearly heard by the whole system despite her whispering it. "You know, the ones you asked us to betray in your 'diplomatic meeting?' They didn't like that very much. Anyways! I must be off, lots to do! Ta ta!"

Speech done, domino's ship warped off, leaving the empire she'd helped build up and lead to survive or die by its own merits.

Blessed are the peacemakers
Normal people, didn't wear suits in the middle of an impending warzone. Which is why, Roland found @Mr. Ash's choice of attire, unusual. That, and the mask. What he also found unusual was that while Roland, being taken for a civilian, was being ushered into a bunker, he broke off and went somewhere else. The soldier that was ushering Roland away quickly found himself with a bad case of broken windpipe, and dropped in an alley to die. Roland retrieved his weapon, placing it over his back. Roland had his own weapon, but the rifle would be much more helpful when the Republic troopers came in and cleaned up the Black Sun. Their criminal rhetoric was all the same, and Roland had been sent in by GI to infiltrate and recon the area ahead. He had eyes on troop movements and the like, and would report them as such.

Roland peered into the building that the man had walked into. He had to find out who this man was, and what that suitcase was. It could be valuable intel, it also could be just documents or birth records. But you didn't need a group of soldiers to cover that. Roland needed an alternate entrance to the building, and he found one via the roof. It was easy enough to find the powergrid, but it would take too long to slice or to disable, so he opted for cutting the power cable altogether, knocking out power for many of the surrounding buildings, given Nar Shaada's wonderful electrical grid. The building was now pitch-black, or near black, as Roland entered through a ventilation shaft.

It was like clockwork, how he moved in the shadows. One soldier, knife to the neck. Another one with a snap of his arm. They began to suspect something when their radio check-ins were being ignored, but it was far too late. They didn't even know he was there, when he was hanging by a small, ceiling light when a man came under him. Releasing his arms from the light, Roland grabbed him by the neck and began to choke him out. He snapped the poor guy's neck after a moment, letting him slump to the ground. All in a manner of seconds. Roland walked up the steps, the dim lights of the man's comm unit making the only light in the room. He leveled the pistol with the man's..skull. "Name, rank, association or allegiance. Be prepared to answer a challenge when prompted if I am with your allied faction or allegiance."He said menacingly, still maintaining operational deniability by not giving his true allegiance away. He was also intent on firing on the man, as the slightest move would cause him to get a round through his...skull(s). Roland was efficient, and there was no reply from any of the soldiers, due to the fact that, they were suffering from a terrible case of being dead. If the man somehow managed to challenge Roland, Roland's plan was to escape the same way he came here and forget about him, because the Jedi or someone else could deal with this guy, Roland was just curious.

And when Roland got curious, people ended up dead.

Mr. Ash did not give two craps about the idiot opening the door. He could hear a man's heartbeat from thirty feet and catch an infrared signature from throughout the building. A power outage. Cute. Rookies needed their eyes. Mr. Ash needed nothing. He held up his hands. "Three questions. Three answers," Mr. Ash said dryly. "My name is Mister Ash. My affiliation is that I'm self employed myself and my rank...smarter than you," He said abruptly, sending a simple remote signal from his comm-link.

A simple remote signal to a thermal lace above the entrance before Roland came in unannounced. Mr. Ash hated scorching his suit at this close of range, but hey, one sithspitting blaster-brained dolt crispy-fried should be enough. He smirked. time to play with a moron. And here he was hoping to strangle a Jedi. He hoped it wouldn't ruin the Leatheris on his Suitcase. Ah, who was he kidding, Blas-tech's padded bullet-proof luggage was awesome.

Retro, classical music lazily playing from the jukebox. Semi-attractive woman behind the counter. Vagrants and cutthroats drinking their days away. This was the norm for the bar scene. It was home to a bounty hunter like Thaddeus Creed. Here is where the galaxy's dirtiest gossip could be heard and spread. "Any news, Elai?" Creed asked the bartender. She stopped cleaning a glass before replacing it on the counter. "Nothing yet, Thad. Same ol' stuff. Different day." she replied. Thaddeus sighed, taking another drink from his glass.

Alarms had sounded. Sirens everywhere. Thaddeus quickly jumped from his seat and headed for his bunker. His bunker where he kept all of his personals. He grabbed his LS-150 and suit of BTI heavy armor and locked himself inside until he knew what the hell was going on.

Exiting hyperspace in five minutes. Aronis hurried to the hangers, which were very chaotic. He found his fighter and quickly climbed in the Eta-6A Delta Starfighter and quickly checked over things, preparing to launch. The fighter was light and easy to manuver with formidable weapontry and light armor. One minute till exit. He took a deep breath forcing himself to remain calm, quickly re-checking everything again for safety. He waited, ready to launch as they exited hyperspace.

The counter speech was senseless and just highlighted the illegitimacy of the government. Given that Selena Halcyon knew her Knights she knew that they would not be the aggressors. However, one important bit of information was revealed in her speech. The diplomats she had sent were free but more importantly alive. A fact she had inferred based upon the information coming back from the transceivers all Jedi were equip with, but confirmation was good. These criminals were not very good at holding their cards to their chest. Little could possibly hold the Republic back now from returning the planet to its rightful owners and bringing peace to it.

The only thing she had left to say was, "Surrender peacefully and no harm will come to you." It was to the anyone in the system who was listening to the call. She had no intention of causing any more harm to the planet's populace than was absolutely necessary. After the open comm channel was killed Selena began to relay orders again. "Keep all hands on deck ready for any opposition the fleets may pose."

EDIT: As troops would not be able to land due to the shields on Nar Shaddaa, Selena obviously would not order them to do so because we would know what kind of shields they are. So I'm removing that order for logic purposes and not to ignore a defense in place.

Noble Hutts, the two words didn't even go together, who was writing PR for the Republic these days? Either way they were here in force, and their purpose was unavoidable, the Republic was looking to pick a fight. Already the Suns' fighter, and bomber wings were moving into position, and the Fleet was moving in to defend the people of Nar Shaddaa. ::Raise the planetary shields, and get me the Empire on the com.::

When faced with an opponent with superior strength the options changed, and wings of both fighter and bombers were hiding amongst debris and construction equipment. As a holo came up showing @Dranok Lussk the Cragmoloid nodded towards the image. ::Grundark greets the Emperor of the Sith, hopefully you are already on route to Nar Shaddaa? The Republic has arrived in force, and Grundark requires aid to subdue them without harming the citizens of Nar Shaddaa.::

Turning around the bridge of the warship the Head of Security looked over the frightened faces of the civilians he'd had crowded onto every Black Sun warship. They had two weeks to prepare for this and mine fields of pulse mines were spotted through varios areas. Orbital weapon platforms were all aimed, and ready to fire on the Republic fleet, yet no weapons had fired yet. Anti-orbital cannons were also ready on the planet to fire on the incoming fleet, and while the planet seemed silent there were millions of citizens hiding in bunkers that didn't hope to withstand the Republic cruisers firing on the world.

The situation required immediate information on reinforcements, and if the Suns didn't receive them more drastic measures would be taken. They couldn't get past the enveloping planetary shield so landing troops was useless, the ships would never arrive to the planet. Opening a channel to the Republic fleet Grundark spoke to his adversary for the first time. ::Grundark welcomes Republic invaders. Words are not needed between us, come any closer to Nar Shaddaa and all weapons will fire. The Republic will bring the death of millions.::

Alarms rang out. What was going on Rayl pondered. His men scrambled across the bridge to their battle stations. Tipsy fell back off his chair with a squishy thud. "Whats happening out there. Report"! Nothing was expected in this area of space. Black Sun space was safe space after all. For him anyways.

"A Republic Fleet has entered the system sir. I figure their intentions are invasion by the size of them. Patching their communication to us. Its open frequency".

Halcyons message and Dominos counter duked it out over the ship speakers. Most surprising wasn't even this sudden invasion. It was the public resignation of their leader, right when they were being freakin' attacked. Timing could not, have, been, worse! Something needed to be done, swift action undertaken. And since no one else was doing a quick enough job it was up to him! "Crash us into their comm, I need to get a message through. And get me in touch with @[member="Grundark"], we need to organize. Send it urgent priority one". Imaginary deities above and below; Rayl was trying to stay cool. He'd faced horrible situations before like this. But that was when he was on his own turf, with his own forces. He knew there exactly how to coordinate defensive operations in his system and surrounding. That was how that area in a good bit was still independent. Here he only had his flagship, The Defias; a Imperial Star Destroyer II. Newly acquired three months back per contract stipulations with Black Sun. And he was quite unaware the defenses and forces they had here. Which is why he wanted to talk to Grundark so he could help lead the space forces, or abandon the world if need be. It was his call, Rayl would fight until the going got to tough. Life to fight another day and all.

"Right, we think we've broken in. Send whatever you were going to sir, right quick".

"Galactic peace by war. Nothing but politics at the point of a lance Miss Halcyon. Your words sound a lot like the old Emperor Palpatine. Plenty of guff and bluster filled with half truths and empty promises. I commend you though on your bold action to strike at the heart of the Black Sun. Underhanded and tactically deduced to cause the greatest harm with the smallest effort. You'll find this no prize to be plucked so easily though. So I graciously extend my personal ultimatum. Leave Black Sun space entirely. Rescind your declaration of war. And issue a public apology for infringing on our sovereign territory. As Domino said, we have recognition of many other nations, enough of the galactic whole to be respected as a free nation to govern itself. You've no right say who is and who isn't legitimate. If you refuse acceptance of my terms on behalf of Black Sun then we will fight with zeal against you as will our allies. And I make this promise to The Republic, attack us; and I will raid every single world I'm able. And there will be no rules to govern us then. Think wisely on the words of the dread Pirate Lord Wilded, for I am deadly serious about these matters".

Chances of her listening to him, about maybe none to feth all. That reprisal threat though was extremely real. Rayl's fleet was excellent of course for such endeavors. It was their livelihood. Never has he dropped the hammer on a raid though. He would if it came to that, and it would sound of thunderous bloody carnage

NAR SHADDAA
CAPITAL CITY PLANETARY DEFENSES
-BLACK SUNS EWOK MERCENARY FORCE-

The mercenary known as YubYub brought with him many faithful scores of Ewok devotees. They scrambled to the planetary defenses. Many Ewoks manned Anti-Air laser cannons, but YubYub was not concerned with small fry. His big, teddy bear eyes watched the skies. His little lips curled into a sneer. The Republic would not find the Black Suns an incompetent military force like the Mandalorians, who sought only single combat during an invasion. This would be a battle to the bitter end. If the dropships landed, they would have to scour the city. And Black Suns didn't fight with a standing military. The Republic, for all intents and purposes, faced most of the population of Nar Shaddaa. All of whom thrived upon black market and criminal organizations. They would be ill inclined to let the so-called righteous Republic wrest their enterprises away. Much like YubYub's spice trade.

Their backs were against the wall and their daggers were out. They wouldn't back down now, or ever. This would be a blood bath. An insurgency, capable and well armed. The Republic damned well wouldn't be taking YubYub's business from him. His spice trade was small, but lucrative.

"T'ose mothafethers can pry it from me cold dead fingers," he squeaked darkly. Dressed in a loincloth, the scalp of Circe Savann on his head as some sort of bizarre headdress, and wearing a necklace made from the shrunken heads of dead Deathwatch Mandalorians he'd killed in the infamous heist of the Dreadstar, YubYub presented a terrifying little figure.

He scooted over and saw to the operation of the V-150 anti-orbital ion cannon, exactly like the one on Hoth. There were several of them on the planet, along with a planetary shield generator which was up and operating. Capital planets have capital defenses after all. YubYub ran inside the massive structure and turned to the gunners.

"Feth @[member="Grundark"] and his orders! Fire on t'ere kriffin command ship!" he squeaked. "Blow up those rancor bang'as."

The V-150 ion cannon adjusted its aim, then fired a salvo of two massive ion bolts, powerful enough to disable a Star Destroyer. They screamed through atmosphere and headed straight for @[member="Selena Halcyon"]'s Remembrance-class flagship.

"No mercy in this dojo!" Roared the tiny Ewok.

Nar Shaddaa Undercity - Random Slum Alpha

After nodding to @[member="Diana Moridena"] in acknowledgement, Daella turned to @[member="Sopher Jakobs"]. She kneeled down to the Padawan as he ate his meal from McYoda’s. She then handed a DL-44 heavy blaster pistol and a credit chip to the Padawn.

Follow close,” ordered Daella, “But stay hidden when we find trouble. Should something happen to Diana or myself, run and return to Coruscant.

Standing back up, Daella walked to a backpack in the corner of the room. It seemed to be carrying a heavy amount of equipment. The Jedi had procured such items during their short stay on Nar Shaddaa - using the incredibly large black market that sells indiscriminately. Luckily, they managed to find the one trader in miles that dealt accepted Republic Credits.

After strapping on the backup, Daella turned to Diana and said, “It’s time to go. Just follow the plan. They’re counting on us.

Having said that, Daella exited the apartment complex and walked onto the slum’s crowded walkways. Many of the denizens in the area conversed in a multitude of languages about the situation. Illegal wares dealers began packing their goods. A Chadra-Fan and Devaronian argued about whether or not the battle would reach them. Daella and the gang would have just walked by these types of people. Their concerns remained on attempting to comprehend the situation. Daella, and most likely the rest of the Jedi if they did not forget, wore a long cloak and hood that would have covered up her lightsaber, and could have easily hidden a sword on one’s back.

Once at a ledge, Daella looked up. She saw a few energy bolts impact the planetary shield - creating bright ripples of light that pierced the smog suffocating the planet. Her eyes narrowed upon the sight.

Turning back to Diana and Sopher, Daella told them, “We need a speeder.

Airal cursed as she had to get up from her very comfortable bed in which she may or may not of been entertaining a 'friend'. She quickly got her clothes on and gave her 'friend' a kiss good buy and a slap on the arse as she prepped for the coming invasion. Guns, were her specialty. That was what she did. So she made sure she was equipped to the teeth in weapons and made her way to somewhere she could get a better idea of what was going on. She found her way in the local militia's office, waiting for deployment. After all the shield would keep them safe for now. But if some karking republic trooper got in front of her, they would find a hole in the head. She smirked as she waited for a chance to use her guns. Sadly those chances didn't come as often as she hoped.

Nar Shadaa Under City
Vulpesen smiled as he took another drink in the bar he was sitting in. He had no doubt that he would soon get the call to action, and when it happened, he would be ready. His saber staff lay split into two pieces within his jacket, hidden from anyone who might see it. The horns of battle were sounding their call, and once again, Vulpesen was on the front lines. Many people would avoid this place, but Vulpesen saw it as a the best time to prove himself. Battle lust was far from his mind, the desire to improve himself and learn from his experiences was always at the front.

Vulpesen had heard of Nar Shadaa quite some time ago, and had actually spent several months on world, centering himself in the force. As it happened, he was in one of his favorite bars and knew the area around himself quite well. It was a key aspect to someone with his tactics. Know the area and you already hold a distinct advantage. He intended to use this advantage to its fullest should any trouble pop up.

As he sat in his seat, he extended himself in the force to look for nay trouble. On the contrary, he found himself pleased to find three other jedi were near his location. Likely he would meet up for them, but for now he enjoyed his drink and waited for a call to action. Once the trouble started, he would be flung into the middle of it, but for now he was content to sit back and prepare.

Hearing both @Selena Halcyon and the Vigo's speeches had put Aela in the perspective of where this invasion stood. She huffed and crossed her arms when she heard the Vigo basically run from the battle, making her shake her head at the real leadership she lacked. She stood with @[member="Grundark"] on the warship and heard as he tried to call for help from the Sith Empire before giving his warning to the Republic invasion. For being peace keepers the Jedi were hear in a major force all for three of their kind that wound up causing more trouble than they were worth. War wasn't usually something Aela would involve herself with, but if it meant killing Jedi then she was more than happy to oblige.

After @[member="Grundark"] spoke with the Republic she walked over to him and said "I'd keep the weapons primed as much as possible. They're not just going to sit there and wait for us to give up." She glanced back to see all the civilians who'd crowded the ship with them. After glancing at a small girl huddling in her mothers arms, Aela narrowed her eyes before looking back and saying "I'm making for my ship. I'm going to blast as many of them out of the sky as I can!"

She turned and made for her ship, the crowd of people parting for her as she did. This place, this Crime Syndicate, had become the closets thing to a family Aela had. They may have been cutthroats, criminals, thieves, slavers, anything you like. But they were a group, a team. If these Jedi were going to come and ruin that for her then she'd take as many as she could down with them.

Piper's Pit, Nar Shaddaa Undercity

Open Brawl nights tended to draw beings desperate to make a few creds the hard way, and generally drew more fighters than the night had time to accomodate. Hard-scrabble pugilists on their way down, street toughs looking to make a name for themselves, up-and-comers, ham-and-eggers, hard-heads, and fighters just too dumb to know they're in the wrong business. The Pit drew them all. But when the Trianii dropped the name of Prestor Alkay, the Anx promoter on Vycinth, and had claimed to be "just passing through," the manager had added him without any further question.

'Song's opponent, a no-name Weequay who talked too much and was prone to showboating, lay insensate on the dirt floor of the cantina's namesake pit. Above and around Tattersong, cheers, jeers, and money went around the room. 'Song's own cut would be enough to have paid his passage, room, board and drink, had he planned on staying. But even as he double-checked the leads on his just-removed shockboxing gloves, his lookout signalled that it was time for him to move.

Moving from the pit to the dressing room, 'Song dialed the combination to his kit bag. Opening it, he placed his gloves inside and pulled his lightsaber from beneath his spare clothing.

Time to go. He had a bigger fight now.

Nar Shadaa, Refugee Sector.

You know, it really is amazing what a bunch of dirt, grim, and no shower for a few days can do. Yusan stood looking out over the endless traffic of Nar Shadaa with his robes tight, hood up, and rather dirty and grim covered hair and face. No one would look at him and think of the Vice Chancellor, no they would glance over and see someone who was thrown from his home into the streets of Nar Shadaa with no where to go. The worst part is that he played the part perfectly due to having to already be this very person. He kept himself small, his head down, and kept well away from trouble and as result no one pestered him and no one checked him. His eyes were drawn to the sky, as above him a battle would soon be raged and he was ready for it.

He had had an old contact smuggle his armor past Nar Shadaa's police force and now he wore it hidden under his robes, his helmet clutched beneath them as well and his saber clipped unseen in the small of his back. It was simple what came next, all he had to do was wait and then it would be time for a little fun. With a turn he walked among those who were panic, taking a right down an alley and entering a warehouse before switching on the lights. Inside were three hundred of his private battle droid army, each one of which had a bomb in them that Yusan could detonate remotely from a handheld detonator kept safe in his robe. This had become a common tactic for him now, sneak onto the planet and have his droids and the bombs smuggled in through old friends and former employees. And now all he had to do was wait, that and turn on his soldiers.

"Activation code 012796. Run standby check over." With that his droids powered on and stood at attention, waiting for the signal just as he was. It would all start soon and he lifted his helmet, secured it tight, and listened in. @[member="Carliah Dakrone"]

Nimir-ra to Iella, Jedi Shadow
Syn was in the meditation chamber of the ship, something quite nice he could admit while he breathed in deeply and was crossed legged for the moment his senses focusing on one thing. Preparing for the coming battle when he got the orders and for the moment release from Tython. He had ordered Iella to remain behind for the moment as this was not something she should be exposed to. No he made it clear but he had recommended his padawans @[member="Nala Tu"], @[member="Vix Wul'Tof"] and @[member="Vexander Graves"] come along to learn diplomacy. Or at least the kind that was involved when your people had been attacked and that was as far as he knew for it, the diplomats had been attacked. As much as he found that strange having worked with Domino for the cure data, even helping her make that ship that protected her world, he had done many things for the council as it were. Despite what some thought of him the ones who only saw a small number would be made to blush.

So he sat there and finished securing the armor, gungnir MK IV armor for jedi from the Republic for Metalorn and he secured some of the wraith forearm bracers over the wrists. A small amount of extra protection they might provide meant little while he checked the taozin nodules Iella had helped him acquire and fashion. Their force masking beauty a trick from the inquisition of old when he was little. Then came the twin necklaces one from Dagobah and one from the artifact they had found. The sigil of hope as their librarian had called it was a wonder and he could feel his mental shields increase compared to other things like his force connection felt stronger and more powerful. His amulet reacted to it as it glowed slightly and he secured the twin earrings with it. He didn't wear them but having them close by seemed to influence him with the crystal shards from an old kasha crystal. He was not taking chances this time with Domino involved and owed her another dance.

The jedi master finally rose from his position and popped his neck while walking through the ship with a team of shadows flanking him. He could do much here to help the others and redeem himself to some in the order but he also cared little what they thought. The idea that they would be gone in a century and he still there standing was enough that he didn't worry too much. The ones who had disliked a former sith being in the order were gone and ashes on the wind. The ones on the council who had sought to test him for weaknesses since he wasn't fully human or anything, they were gone and buried. No he had surpassed worrying about some things and now just prepared to be a jedi for as long as he lived. That was what brought him to the ship as he went into it with only two others. He reached with the current as they left to hide them from sight and sense while they went towards the planet quickly. The limits of even his abilities on something this small were novice at best.
