In the jungle, the mighty jungle!

The sound of critters skittering around the dense jungles of Kashykk was the only sound heard for miles. Sitting on the jungle floor, Jo'groz'chew sat stationary, sitting in complete silence. The wind whistled through the branches, sending the Wookiee's thick, white fur fluttering in the wind.

He had not returned to Kashykk in years, and this was his chance. He sat in complete silence, his eyes narrowed as he stared ahead, studying and examining the flora and fauna.

Ahead of him stood a swinging bridge, made of nothing but rope, branches, and very unstable pieces of wood, which was hanging over a huge gap, leading to the other side. Below it? A dark, terrifying level of Kashykk known as the Shadowlands. A single step could break a board underneath you, sending you plummeting down to the Shadowlands, where the albino Wookiee, or anyone else for that matter, had an almost impossible chance of survival.

Suddenly, his eyes shot open as he cringed, breathing heavily. His force powers were still relatively untapped, but he could sense something. The presence of multiple people...Slowly approaching.

"Find him..."

Six figures moved around silently, camouflaged to blend in with the green and brown environment around them. The leader was a man named Darkgear, a seasoned mercenary and slaver. He wasn't here for himself, though. A tip was dropped by an informant to Vinskk Revamp, someone the informant knew would pay well for this particular information.

After all, it's not every day you see an albino Wookiee.

Darkgear sighed silently to himself, adjusting the stock of the rifle he held in his right cybernetic arm. Upon receiving this information, his boss had sent him a simple message to hunt the rare furbag down. It would've been nice for the scaly Trandoshan to join in the hunt, but, alas, he was quite busy now, scheming and ruling over Trandosha. No time for fun anymore, or at least a hunter's type of fun. So he sent a covert team to sneak into Kashyyk and bring the rare specimen instead, trusting Darkgear and his fellow slavers.

The other five with him were Human slavers as well, crew members of the Black Talon, which was now under the helm of Free-Eyes, a Gran slicer. They had made the short jump from Trandosha to Kashyyk in an inconspicuous vessel, one that wouldn't draw any attention. From there, they tracked the albino's whereabouts by asking around. The bread crumbs had lead to this spot, this neck in the woods.

They were hunting now.

Darkgear was looking at the white hairs on the floor now and the way they led. There he was, a white mass standing on top of a bridge. Silently, with a hand signal, the experienced hunter ordered a slow advance while switching the rifle he held at the ready to stun. He didn't want to startle the prey, after all, and it was much more easy to sedate a Wookiee when they weren't expecting it.

He continued to sit in silence, not moving an inch as he was completely oblivious to the men approaching him, intending to follow up on their arrangement of either enslaving, or blasting the Wookiee's damn head off and gutting him, right then and there. Sitting calmly, he stared ahead, slowly glancing over to his left, staring down at the bottom of the bridge...The Shadowlands.

Slowly glancing back, his eyes closed as he waited patiently, still oblivious to the group of armed poachers and murderers.

(Sorry for the short posts.)

Darkgear turned to look at his men and nodded. They knew what to do. The Wookiee was wanted alive.
Approaching even closer, the lead slaver raised his rifle directly to the center mass of the albino before him. The men behind him followed suit. Still assuming that he had not heard them yet, Darkgear fired a stun bolt, aiming at the back of the giant wall of fur and muscle.

(It's all right. :))

@Jo'groz'chew

He heard...Something. He wasn't sure what it had been, but it was something. He sensed it. He felt it.

He quickly shot up, roaring angrily as he spun around, attempting to use his basic force push, directing it towards the men in front of him, unsure if his rather basic force powers would effect these men. He had no desire to kill these people, but if it had come down to it...He'd do it. Roaring angrily, the Wookiee spun around, and to the possible surprise of the men, quickly began to sprint off down the bridge.

The planks groaned and creaked as he ran across each one, the boards nearly collapsing under the Wookiee's weight. If the men had not opened fire, he'd sprint to the other side, and quickly step into the mangled thicket to his left.

The shot went wide as Darkgear stumbled back. It was as if an invisible person had shoved him. The slaver angrily growled as the Wookiee ran across the bridge, trying to escape.

"Open fire!"

The five other men fired stun bolts while Darkgear's gun cooled down. If one hit him, he'd be stunned, possibly even incapacitated for a moment.

@Jo'groz'chew

A moment before stepping into the thicket, he gasped, clutching his chest, and falling to the ground in a prone position as the stun bolt struck him. He lay motionless in the Kashykk dust, not moving an inch as he remained incapacitated by the bolt. Groaning in agony, he whimpered slightly, before slipping back into an unconscious state.

"Gotcha, furbag..."

Liam motioned to the others to follow his lead as they carefully advanced across the rickety wooden bridge to the other side of the jungle floor. They advanced, the planks swaying.

CRACK!

A plank broke, sending a slaver falling to the Shadowlands with a scream. Darkgear winced in sympathy, knowing full well that he was dead. They continued even more cautiously.

The slavers all breathed out a sigh of relief as they reached the other side.

"Stun cuff this furbag."

The order was followed. One of the slavers dropped his backpack down and retrieved a pair of stun cuffs and a shock collar, then advanced towards the prone Wookiee. He was fidgeting with the cuffs, trying to clamp then on right on the albino's hairy wrists. If that stun bolt didn't bring him under completely, this could turn rather messy real fast...

@Jo'groz'chew

The silence was interrupted with the sound of a roar, as the Wookiee leaped to his knees, his roar sending saliva shooting through the air like a blaster bolt. He glared at the slaver in front of him, snarling, before quickly attempting to once again, utilize his force push. Extending his hand, he roared, focusing a force push directly into the man in front of him, hoping to send him flying back into the men behind him.

The Wookiee had intended to escape without conflict, but these men had activated his insatiable lust for vengeance. He had a burning desire to brutally chomp away at each man's flesh, before dropping them into the Shadowlands, where they would hopefully be devoured by the savage beasts on Kashykk's lowest level. Of course, currently that was just a fantasy.

The Wookiee's attention drifted back into reality, his survival instincts kicking in, as his heart rate sped up significantly, sweat dripping down his white mane.

The slaver with the cuffs was roughly pushed back into Darkgear, who accidentally shot a stun bolt into him.

Crap. Only 4 slavers now.

"Kark! Light 'im up!"

The remaining three slavers raised their rifles in tandem and pulled the triggers.

Click! Click! Click!

The stun cycle wasn't done cooling down.

"Chit! I'm goin' in!"

Darkgear reared back his metal arm and ran forward, throwing a punch at the enraged Wookiee. If it hit, the blow from the cybernetic limb would probably break a couple of bones...

He closed his eyes, his body going stiff as he prepared for death...The sound of the weapons clicking threw fuel onto the fire for the albino Wookiee. As he rose to his feet, Jo'groz'chew snarled at Darkgear...Before abruptly taking the punch to the face, resulting in a sickening crack and blood spraying onto Darkgear from the Wookiee's nose.

The Wookiee stumbled back, roaring in pain, before quickly leaping at Darkgear, attempting to use his size and weight advantage to pin Darkgear to the ground.

Darkgear smirked as the punch landed right on the Wookiee's face. That sound that emanated from his head was beautiful to him.

He was still up?

The albino was now on top of him, using his weight to pin him down. Darkgear struggled to breathe, squirming underneath the huge, furry mass. The three remaining slavers dropped their guns and unsheathed knives, rushing forward to stab the Wookiee and help their leader. If the albino didn't move, he could expect to receive several stab wounds to the back.

@Jo'groz'chew

Roaring in agony, the albino covered his head, in an attempt to prevent any stab wounds to his skull. Regretting not bringing along his lightsaber, the Wookiee rolled off the man, falling to his back as he roared in agony, blood dripping from his wounds. He lay in the dirt, groaning softly, fearing the men would either kill him or worse.

He knew what the cost of a Wookiee pelt was...Especially an albino pelt. However, he had not been prepared. This was simply intended to be simple meditation, but due to his unpreparedness...He would face severe consequences. His groans slowly died down, as he stared up at the men, fear and anger creating a mask on his face.

Darkgear grunted as the massive weight of the Wookiee moved off of him, then quickly sprung up, unholstering a simple blaster pistol and pointing it at the Wookiee.

"Don't move, or I'll blast ya. Cuff him."

The three slavers retrieved stun cuffs again and slapped them on the albino, hoisting him up to his feet. The shock collar went on next, designed to keep the large being in check. Liam looked over the specimen, noting the wounds and fur.

"You'll live. Let's move!"

The slavers jeered at the white Wookiee, prodding him with rifles and taunting the captured soul.

"Those shackles nice and tight, furbag?"

"Oh, big boy here's gonna have fun in Trandosha."

"Quiet! This ain't exactly legal, so keep your voice down and let's get the hell out of here."

The party was now silent as they made their way across the rickety bridge again, back to the other side of the jungle floor...

Growling lowly as he was cuffed, he slowly was pulled to his feet. Visibly shaking as he roared and growled, unsuccessfully attempting to break free of his restraints. Growling uncomfortably as the shock collar was placed on him, he glared at Darkgear, fear and hatred in his eyes. He slowly proceeded to follow the men, obviously fearing for his life. The albino Wookiee examined each men carefully, still walking, his attempts at breaking free still in vain.

As he slowly walked across the bridge, he stopped for a moment, standing perfectly still on a creaking plank, the Wookiee slowly glanced up at Darkgear, grinning. He then proceeded to stand there, perfectly still.

Darkgear couldn't pull the mass of fur and muscle off of that stupid plank. He turned around and looked into his eyes, seeing nothing but hate and rage directed at him as he protested.

"You're not exactly in a bargaining position, Wookiee. Get off the karking plank or I will make you, and you won't like that."

He cocked his blaster and set it to the lowest kill setting possible while holding the remote for the shock collar. If he didn't move, things were gonna get hot and sparky.

@Jo'groz'chew

He snarled at the Trandoshan, glancing down at the plank. He had traveled to the Shadowlands before, but this was different. He would not be protected, and his white, albino fur would replace the Wookiee's natural camouflage, rendering him completely visible to the beasts and creatures that resided there.

With a growl, the Wookiee bowed his head, slowly proceeding to follow Darkgear again. The Wookiee was attempting to devise himself a plan, but he knew very well it was useless. Despite his size and weight advantage, the Wookiee knew he was outnumbered. He would be killed seconds after killing the first man, or possibly before.

(Darkgear is a human, FYI :p)

The slaver smirked at the Wookiee's submission and proceeded to lead the entourage off of the bridge. He turned to another companion and spoke.

"Run ahead and warm up the engines. I want to be out of here ASAP."

He followed orders. It was just Liam and two slavers now, but they all were alert and ready to kill if the albino even looked like he was going to escape...

He growled under his breath as the men led him towards the ship. He stood motionless, aware that he was very likely to be killed if he attempted to escape. Standing stationary, he glared at Darkgear, growling angrily.
