In search of illumination

DAGOBAH

Xardus set down on the swamp planet and checked for any life signs. There were very little, strangely enough. He had come here in search of the remains of an old Jedi housing. Apparently one had come here to train a long time ago. He hoped to further his own by studying what he found. The young man donned a simple long sleeved shirt and cargo pants. He then filled the pouches on his belt with good rations to last him. Lastly he clipped on his lightsaber, and exited his ship.

The planet surface was unlike any Xardus had ever seen. The ground squished under his feet as he trekked forward. Some bats startled him, an he ignited his blade, swinging it in an orange arc. Cursing himself, Xardus put his lightsaber back in it's place on his belt. He continued to walk and look around for any signs of life.

 

[Garza]

Darren had followed his student to the Planet. He was wearing his Knight armor. The student had never seen it before so if he was found then his identy wouldnt be compermised. He carried all of his normal supplise of 3 lighsabers and sword. he followed his student to an area know for the "Savior of the Rebels" known as Luke Skywalker. he trained here once with Grandmaster Yoda for a time. he was heading in the direction of the odl hut that he use to live in.

Xardus found what seemed to be an old dwelling. He observed the remains of a hut, which seemed way too small for a normal person. It was possible that this was what he was looking for. Kneeling down, he found a short stub of a stick. His eyes widened as he realized that it must be the cane of the grandmaster he had heard so much about. He picked it up and examined it.

 

[Garza]

Darren knew that his student wouldne be waching his back. Nor trying to feel him though the force. Even if he was He would only feel a powerful being that was near buy but he wouldnt tell if it was good, bad, or whos signature it was. he smiled at the though of him making this armor with his own Master Ashin. Darren used the force to say to his student "Follow the power source. There you will find one to teach, the one you seek." Darren knew that he may not be looking for him. But he was looking for more teaching. And he knew that he needed to talk to his student about a recent encounter with a Mando.

 

[Levi Hutch]

Xardus heard a voice, and activated his lightsaber. "Who's there?" Curious, he followed in the direction of the voice. Maybe it was a force ghost trying to lead himor it was just his imagination. His curiosity won him over and he started a little faster towards the source of the voice.

 

[Garza]

Darren walked to the cavern of dreams and fears. he would lead his apprentice through the little maze and see his best dream turn into his most feard object. he used the force to clear his head as he walked though the chamber and waited at the end for him. "Come to me In the chamber. Find what you dream and what you fear most."

 

[Levi Hutch]

Xardus made his way through the cavern with ease, finding no difficulty along the path. When he got to the chamber, there was a split second where he felt a familiar force signature, but then it faded. That's when he looked up and saw a dark robed figure with a red lightsaber drawn. He had never seen his parents die, but he somehow knew this was the man who had killed them. His face flooded with mixed emotions. Fear, hatred, and passion washed like a wave over him.

 

[Garza]

OOC: Ill play as the Dark figure if your fine with that.

IC: The dark figure said in a dark voice. "Looks like the young welp has come to avenge his parents. How quaint." He rased his blade and pointed it at Xardus "Lets see if you can actuly fight unlike how your father and mother did. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" his laugh echoed in the tunnels and would make hair stand on end. it seemed as if his voice mutated and distorted the more he laughed.

 

[Levi Hutch]

Xardus yelled and ran at the figure, slashing his blade in a wide arc at his chest. "You will pay for what you did!" As he said that, he prepared a mental assault on his mind, but uncertainty clouded him. He felt nothing there, only emptiness. He withdrew and continued to attack the sith.

 

[Garza]

The man blocked the blade at his chest. he smiled and said as he parried another blade. "Good, Good. So far your going about the same as your mother." he used a force pushe followed by lighning. "Suprise!"

 

[Levi Hutch]

Though he was caught off guard, Xardus raised his blade in time to deflect the lightning back at the sith. "Nice try, but i'm better." He pointed the blade at him, directing the full power of the lightning back to his opponent. He then released a torrent of ice from his fingertips, hoping to freeze him.

 

[Garza]

The ice grabbed hold of his left arm he used to block the ice. WIth a force push he broke the ice. He laughed at the man and raised his bbladeto atttack the little apprentice.

Darren could feel the force go though his aprentice as he founght the man who had killed his parents. He smiled because he knew that he would win.

 

[Levi Hutch]

Xardus pushed even harder against the sith. He had to avenge his parents from the monster who had slain them. Using the force to push him into a wall, he charged and leaped at his enemy and prepared to cut into him like rubber.

 

[Garza]

The apprentices blade went though the Siths body, and he screamed out in agony. It was shrill and glass piercing. He fell to the ground, but before his knees touched he turend to ash.

 

[Levi Hutch]

Xardus stared at the pile of ash in bewilderment. Stepping on the ash, he dropped his lightsaber out of shock. "I... I killed him", he said aloud. Snapping out of it, he quickly picked his lightsaber back up, also taking that of the sith's. He looked at it for a moment, and then clipped it on his belt. He sighed and began to walk out of the cavern.

 

[Garza]

Darren felt his apprentices presence walke away so he said in his force voice "Leave yet? For you have just begun young one. To face your final test here you must." Darren needed to talk to him for one, and he wanted to see if Xardus had grown in the force and in battle.

 

[Levi Hutch]

Xardus paused and turned around. "Where are you? Show yourself!" He ignited his blade once more, spinning around and looking around the cavern. "What is my final test?"

 

[Garza]

Darren chucked alittle He always love messing with people some times. "Into the Tunnles you go. To find out it is your test. To face alone your test it is." Darren was using the voice of Yoda. He had memorised it by heart from a Holocron that was very old. He used it here to make sure that if his student heard him that he wouldnt sound famular.

 

[Levi Hutch]

Xardus sighed and trekked deeper into the tunnel system. Keeping his lightsaber at the ready, he slowly made his way forward.

 

[Garza]

Darren could feel his apprentice's presence coming closer. Darren used his voice again "Come closer young one. And learn who you really are."
