Strengths:

• As non-combatant and slow vessel this ship is vulnerable to attack and would require an escort.
• Requires an extensive logistical chain to maintain full medical readiness
• In order to provide the extensive space needed for such a medical treatment facility the deflector shield generators are externally placed at the mid axis (blue circle section) these are vulnerable to Void Craft in similar respect to the towers a top an Imperial Class Star Destroyer

Description:
Commissioned by the Empress Kista Fel, the Imperial Hospital Ship is designed as a non-combatant unit. The primary mission of the IHS840 is to provide rapid, flexible, and mobile acute medical and surgical services to support the Imperial Navy, Army and Storm Legion forces while forward deployed, and functions as a critical asset as part of the joint service formation designated the Expeditionary Battle Group. Secondarily, the IHS840 provides mobile surgical hospital service for use by appropriate Imperial Government agencies in disaster or humanitarian relief or limited humanitarian care incident to these missions or peacetime military operations whether at home or abroad.

The IHS840 is capable of providing a wide range of care. The Vessel itself was built to be easily recognizable due to its use of color to distinguish it as a medical vessel. The primary hangar landing bays are located both port and starboard of the vessel and connect directly to the Casualty Receiving Treatment Bays. The launch bays are located ventral aft just under the General care wards. There is an extensive elevator system that is capable of transporting up to 6 litter bound patients per elevator or 20 ambulatory patients. These are capable of moving both vertical and horizontal through out the vessel to provide ease of access. Along with standard corridors and passageways and standard bulkhead design of the Imperial Aesthetic looks. The Crinan Architectural design is visible with the external parts of the vessel giving it a noble and regal look.

The Vessel Displays an emblem of a shield with wings as an indicator of providing a place for those ill or injured. Along with the Imperial Remnant Symbol locate mid axis port and starboard at the fore of the vessel. It also carrys a transponder indicating its status as a non-combatant to all holonet capable vessels and faciltiies located in the star system it presently occupies.
