BIOGRAPHY:
The daughter of an Echani mercenary and a human X-Wing pilot, Idiian was born with combat in her blood. As per Echani traditions, the normally sweet and kind Idiian was taught how to fight as a form of self-expression. Due to her small size, however, she would regularly use dirty tricks to win fights, ranging anywhere from throwing sand to groin attacks, going as far as nearly gouging a boy's eye out once. As she got older, Idiian's fighting style grew more brutal and underhanded, making most of her peers weary of her under the belief that she fought that way out of viciousness and that her otherwise kind behavior was a facade; Many of the older Echani, her father included, realized that Idiian was an entirely different beast altogether; The girl was so focused on winning, on coming out the victor in whatever she set herself to, that thoughts of how her methods affected those she fought afterwards never crossed her mind. Worse, when her father tried to explain how Idiian's fighting affected others and why she needed to follow the proper etiquette, which allowed combatants to read each others' stance and fight accordingly- Idiian's response was merely that she saw no point in following etiquette specifically because it allowed others to read her movements.
Eventually, at the age of fifteen, Idiian's ruthlessness and inability to follow etiquette led to her being exiled from her home. Her mother, not wanting to leave Idiian alone in the galaxy, brought her to her own home world of Fresia to continue raising her. Shortly after they arrived, Idiian spotted a Bothan who matched the description of a bounty that she had seen at the landing platform, and immediately tackled and subdued him. As it turned out, it was the Bothan the authorities were looking for, and Idiian was paid a moderate sum for his capture. Idiian was glad for the credits, but found herself disappointed in how easy it was. But then it struck her- Certainly there were bounties out there that were worth even more than that first Bothan. Certainly they had to be higher for a reason, like they were harder to reach, or had some sort of guard- something more interesting than just tackling a hapless Bothan in the streets. Besides, Idiian already had a decent amount of training from her Echani half, so why not give it a shot?
At first Idiian stuck to the local minor bounties, building up enough for a good vibroblade and a decent enough pistol before saving up for a ship and the license to fly one. By the time she had managed both, the now eighteen-year-old Idiian had collected most, if not all, of the bounties on Fresia, and decided to travel somewhere where she could find more bounties easily, settling on Tatooine. For the next two years, Idiian collected a variety of bounties for the Hutts, building credits, upgrading her ship, and developing her techniques; when they weren't becoming more ruthless, they were becoming more clever. After a while, Idiian decided that she preferred most to take her targets by surprise and invested in a stealth suit, a Cyricept Personal Concealment System, Mk. VII. She modified it almost immediately by adding a cloaked vibroblade sheathe to the suit, though she continued making a few other cosmetic changes as the years went on.
By the time she was 20, Idiian had put enough gear together that she decided she would go after some of the bigger bounties across the Galaxy, and she decided to start with the very Hutts that she had been hunting bounties for for the last two years. Due to lacking the means to transport an entire Hutt back to her ship, Idiian opted to go after a bounty that was Wanted Dead, instead. Having run a few bounties for the Hutt she chose in the past, she knew where he lived, and snuck into his chambers as he slept using her stealth suit, killing the Hutt in his sleep by repeatedly stabbing it through the top of the head with her vibroblade and firing her blaster repeatedly into the gashes created by the knife wounds. Despite the sounds from the blaster firing, by the time the Hutt's guards reached his chambers, Idiian was long gone; In fact, up until she had cashed the bounty on the Hutt, no one had any evidence she was the one responsible.
As Idiian's actions had angered many of the other Hutts, she left Tatooine, continuing on over the next four years to collect a number of other bounties to pay for an increased armory, made of both lethal and non-lethal armaments, as well as a small cargo skiff for transporting larger bounties who were wanted alive.
EQUIPMENT:
Idiian mainly wears a modified Cyricept Personal Concealment System, Mk. VII; The original Mk. VII was only able to solve the sticking problem that the Mk. VI had, so that rain, snow, sand, or other such small particles would slide off the suit and not give away where the wearer was, though the suit still had the phantasmal silhouette issue the previous Mk. VI had. Idiian’s modifications to the suit mostly extended to cosmetic changes and adding a similarly cloaked vibroblade sheathe, though she has plans to improve the stealth suit further.
SHIP:
Idiian flies a modified YT-1760 Small Transport, christened the Twilight Omen, which has been given the usual modifications of shields and a pair of laser canon turrets.
