STRENGTHS
  • Superior Protection: Designed using the Synthmesh, wintrium that as it ages continues to grow stronger and skylar which offers a form fitted compression material.
  • Force Affinity: Infused and crafted with the force, the synthmesh, skylar and inth metal used all add force abilities to the outfit.
  • Protection: The hypermembrane provides a robust degree of protection so it can be used.
  • Self Repairing: Designed with the hypermembrane for protection but also the ability to repair itself over time with small damage being a few minutes to hours and sections of the suit being days.
  • Overly Engineered: Designed to give the jedi a powerful sense of control and protection.
  • Exotic Matter: Altered at the molecular level and force enhanced to be force enhanced to be highly protective.
  • Healer Focused: Bringing force and medical technologies together into a more focused design. Unlike the Arukirī who maintain and bring the injured and dead to them... the healers are doctors and medics who go into battle.
WEAKNESSES
  • Requires Connection to the Force: For the synthweave effects to function within it the material needs to be able to feel the force energies around it. Vong tech, yalisimiri, voidstone, dampening fields are all counter to what the material can handle.
  • Self repairing: While it can repair its own micro stress fractures the capabilities can take days to hours depending on how damaged they become from use.
  • Exotic Particles: Largely unknown and not seen in the galaxy before. It isn't invincible nor is it really strong but it reacts violently near dark and anti-matter which can disrupt and destroy it or even cause it to rupture and disintegrate.
  • Exotic Matter: The tetherite and solarite metals are explosive when they come into contact with anti or dark matter.
  • Lightside beacon; The robes radiate the lightside of the force.
  • Lightside: Designed with the jedi and lightside in mind, the material can be worn andused by neutral and darksiders but it is uncomfortable.
DESCRIPTION
Designed and created for the healer Cathbodua as a more progressive bodysuit then what she normally had. he base of the suit uses the Sasori Bodysuit that is designed as a highly protective bodyglove with the Ranger's Utility Boots set for them. Then slowly spread over with micronized crystal shards slowly added to create a focus and channeling suit much like the Sasori Gloves that are designed to allow the force to be channeled through using the force force crystals. The bodygloves abilities to enhance strength and grip along with its increased protection and lightweight gave her an advantage already.

Using designs from Chai La a mandalorian company Sasori purchased getting their beskarsmiths and workers. The designs of the apprentice Basaba's kinetic mesh on her Osik Naast Alor Kal'vod Beskar'gam was impressive. That it was built using the Sasori equipment and upgraded to incorporate more of it with mandalroain equipment showed how adaptible they were. The sme could be said for the giant of a woman Anita's Anita's Armor that featured the same style mesh giving birth to some ideas but none more then they should use and have armor smiths who work for them and know how to make the equipment properly.

The the second layer was focused and designed based on the Phenex produced Song of the Sun which is based off information in the armor of the former jedi healers master the then Vigo of the black Suns. The Vigo being a friend of Matsu's and leaving the designs in the company. Over it the Sasori Harness is set to provide pouches and clasps for gear with the lightweight hybrid plexisteel a strong and very lightweight material used by sasori to reduce weight in most of their equipment. The added high blaster protection is also a plus. The work on it to give her movement as well as protection so a healer didn't get injured while actually trying to heal.

The addition of the Sasori Toolkit on her wrists provides more weight but it is managable same with the Ranger's Sheath that go onto the thighs between t he harness. Providing flexibility and creating a protective suit with armor protection that would bypass a number of armors produced. To protect herself the jedi knight encouraged cortosis bands for protection at her wrists and at her neck being used to hook under the jaw and seal her normal mask. A palm scanner for medical scans she could work and bring to her forearm pad to observe the status of patients. The standard contents of the jedi utility belt in the harness,

The uppermost layer of the armor was protective shell spider silk armor which provided additional protection and adding more crystal shards to it to work as a channel to attune the armor charging the force through it and making its level of protection increase. The phrik plating was threaded and weaved into the outer layer of shell spider silk allowing the lightweight material to add protection. With the self regulating bodysuit and seals allowing it to protected from chemicals while on the back a rebreather pack can easily be held. Her additional gear is able to be stored like the Sasori Crystal.

The addition of several smaller Sasori gadgets like the built in Sasori Amulet that can provide a shield and the Sasori Circlet which can provide protection and aid. The outer layer and coating of the armor is coated with the Sasori Coating providing a micro crystal sheen making it look more like a synthatex zentai suit with her mask and hood designed to house the Murr Earrings near her but not confined to press the crystals into her skull. The power lining to make the weight of the gear less and the gravity level built into the belt allows carrying weight to be decreased. For its coating it can create a small electrical charge to activate the optical camo.

The name day crystals built into the armor are not for attuning it and hardening it for a time with the force to create stronger armor. Reducing flexibility in favor of protection from lightsabers and blasters. Unlike traditional force gear it is fashioned like Master Vodo's quarterstaff which was charged with force energy to become stronger but not at all times. It lets the armor go from lighter weight protection able to let the healer to run around. Then change over to a medium style highly protective armor made to keep the healer safe. The crystals and armor requiring the force is a major thing and it requires not being on worlds that can't access the force.

The armor is not special or the first of its design, it has basing with groups within the galaxy. The Jal Shey skilled in imbuing the force into their equipment permanently through their meditations that could provide them protection and added force powers and effects. The workers at Sasori skilled in adding power to items for the jedi to use and the Jensaarai who crafted cortosis weaved force armor in custom ways to their own style. The armor is not as strong or permanent as those but has the flexibility of the Jal Shey with the durable material being used like the Jensaarai being used to spin it for the jedi healer.

Cathbodua has only in her years gotten stronger with the force and Hapan standards for it thanks to Allana as she acts as a master and healer for the Sibsi N Sanilër For'ta Nidan within the consortium. Sasori's engineers working with them improved her outfit slimming it down with some of the packs and equipment into a full bodysuit that is highly protected. With healing augmentation that can match and outdo many others. The jedi master and one of the chief healers who has worked on many injured is able to augment her healing abilities and lessen the strain... though given the heavy training she does it is amazing how the armor augments herself.

I'm going to be honest with you, the Dev Threads you have for this armor are not sufficient for what you're trying to make it do. The dev threads for Phrik and Laminanium are absolutely bare bones with only 10 posts each and each post being barely over 100 words. The thread for the Crystals, although lengthy, is over a year old and as far as I can tell doesn't even have your character in it, how did she get these crystals?

If I'm going to approve this I would like to see a little bit more current effort put into it, an additional 10-15 posts of things being put together. You're trying to create the highest quality armor on the board and tack on additional effects including lightsaber resistance and force enhancements. This is something that traditionally requires a little more effort.

I'm going to need you to detail out these effects in the description other than just blanket statements. How much does the focus help? What does it help with? How does the connection aid? How powerful does this make a user? What is the upper limit of the healing capability?

Please explain as its important to the sub and anyone who might roleplay with it in the future.

For the rest, Name day crystals were jedi crystals used for healing and given on birthdays to aid in healing and focus. They are a canon common item same as the adegan whihc was used commonly by jedi to create a connection to their lightsaber.

The description is edited and talks about the crystals explaining them. If there are more edits I will make them or message you to pull out this from the archives when I finish the dev thread.

Also if you could beef up the description, if you look at other Quality 10 rating armors their descriptions are very in depth providing a solid understanding of the armor that is being presented. Quality 10 is a rating for armor that is difficult to accomplish. You’ve put in work, just need to beef it up a bit – specially to help others understand what they’re facing in a PVP sense. In most cases, try to answer any questions someone could possibly have with your armor.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=13.3333px]“Laminanium-Kinetic Mesh” there’s no such thing in canon – if there is can you provide some sort of proof I’ve been looking for it all day and haven’t found mention of it. If this is custom tech, please provide an explanation and you may need to dev/submit the new tech to the factory.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=13.3333px]If you want self-healing mesh, you need to explain how it avoids healing back into a big glob. Laminanium flows together, for example if you make Laminanium chain mail and broke a part of it – the broken links wouldn’t re-form they would make one blob. Laminanium is the “stuff” around the “fibers” of course if you have it made into mesh or what have you, it won’t repair into the same state again it would be a blob.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=13.3333px]“Boots 3.5kb, toolkit 2.5kg, Harness 4kg, bodyglove 4kg” Four items out of the massive list of things over and above the metal mesh of what the character is wearing weight almost as 3x as much as the entire suit does. This doesn’t even mention the 90-minute air supply which would weigh roughly around 5.5kg. You’re trying to load like 50lbs of equipment onto a skin tight body suit.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=13.3333px]Another thing which more would be explained farther down in the judgement is the quality 10. I’m confused at this, it’s a leotard with the same armor rating as Popo’s tank or other heavy Quality 10 armors. There’s no protection from blunt force attacks which makes me question its ability to be a Quality 10 rating[/SIZE]

[SIZE=13.3333px]The crystals are interesting, but if something hits the armor because it is just mesh from the sound of it – they would and could cause massive injury as soon as something hits it. Even micronized it would be like sandpaper on the skin.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=13.3333px]I understand the use of Phrik you’re trying to improve the protection of the mesh, the problem is though it doesn’t work like that. It is possible to weave together fine metal wires to get a cloth like material, the problem though you wouldn’t get the same level of protection if you were to use the metal as a plate or even mail. You might be able to increase the tensile strength, much like you would with a steel cable made of individual wires. Yet, that still doesn’t give you any real protection against shearing, also it relies on the mental being pliable, which Phrik is not.[/SIZE]

We can continue to work and get this concept to work or I can deny it on concept and you can re-use the development threads and make an entire new suit that works with what you’re trying to do. From the above this armor just doesn’t work the way you want it to.[/SIZE]

Judgement:
The Song of the Sun has no laminanium in it. So I'm somewhat lost as to what you're referring to when you claim its based off of it. Also, after doing some looking around at the Song of Mandalore [operator's kit]- it has what you want which is a good thing, but its a unique event prize. Which means is you need to have had access to it to reverse engineer so you could recreate it. I couldn't find any mention of any reverse engineering on the unique event item.
  • Without additional Dev: Remove the Unique Event Item [Operater's Kit from Song of Mandalore]
  • With additional Dev: 15 solid [written by the character that is doing the reverse engineering] posts of reverse engineering the Unique Event Item
I see that you mentioned Hybrid Plexisteel stating that it will reduce the weight, that's great, but you're still carrying 50kg of gear and metal. The gravity level built into the belt allows the ability to the weight is decreased, but if you're constantly using it - the unit would burn out. So you still need to state the actual weight that is on the suit because you can't constantly run the tech that counters the gravity. You could separate it so that its apparent at the weight difference ie: Without Grav tech off: 50kg* and with grav tech on: 5.5kg*

The Primary sources really don't make sense honestly. I would link the Song of Mandalore and the Song of Sun to the primary sources than the really bland and vague examples you have listed currently. It looks as if you're just trying to fill space with something. None of the examples you provided in the primary sources state anything that helps your sub.

As for stating its not snowflake...most armors that are quality 10 if not all armors that are quality 10 are snowflake. Any armor that's uniquely made for a specific character is snowflake. There's nothing wrong with that. Speaking of, can you please put the character's name in the affiliation tab since she will be the one using it. If she's not the one using it, the submission needs to be changed to the character that will be using it. Any changes after the fact of approval it will need/can be done in the factory tech mod thread.

There is studying it in the dev threads to have systems of the armor. The other armors fit with what this is as it uses force attuning to increase the protective capabilities of it. They aren't to fill space they are to point out that the concept of this armor is based in canon to oppose you "I'd deny this on concept" remark. This isn't special this is something a force sect could make in their sleep and likely ten times better. As to the weight, I am not seeing your numbers... I mean the bodyglove is in the armor 4kg of the initial 5.5kg. The rest would be the mesh and shell spider on top so 1.5kg and then she has a harness for pouches and beltwhich is another 4kg a built in circle, amulet and crystal. The thigh sheats are there fair enough (additional 2.5kg) and her gloves with the wrist weapons (2.5kg) but aside from the rebreather which are a backpack designed to be carried with far heavier armor in mind (so 6kg maybe). 9kg + 6kg = 15kg additional weight maybe round to 20 for accessories if being generous. So 20kg at best compared to the 50kg you are claiming. It might not be pretty but far from encumbering her movements to the point she can move around. She has several threads training by herself and with padawans to carry actual loads and larger people.

They make no sense mostly because there's nothing beyond "Light armor". They don't state what equipment went along with the armor, they don't state weights of the armor - there's no substantial ties to your armor beyond the concept of "its light weight armor and they can move". If you would have put down the Song of Mandalore and the Song of the Sun it would have made more sense. There isn't even any mention of Jal Shay in any of your devs. That's a minor thing, but still. I'm not trying to fight with you here I'm trying to make sure that the bases are covered and the armor works and makes sense.

As for the weight and the variables that are unknown, I'm completely okay with it being 25kg to give or take the unknown weights. Also, the 50 was done in pounds and I was dumb and didn't convert it apologies for the confusion. Again 22~25kg give or take to cover the unknown weights as well.

Going through the devs again I did a search on the following keywords:

"Song of Mandalore"
"Laminanium - Kinetic Mesh"
"Wendy"

Nothing came up, when I read through originally there was no mention of the armor, the concept or the character that owns the armor. So I return to my original request of asking for a reverse engineering dev of 15 solid posts. I know originally the issue was with the dev threads lacking. I understand they're annoying, but they need to have quality to them especially with a quality 10 armor.
