Hutt Cartel, Now Recruiting! (Open To Those Who Want To Join)

Scene
For some reason you find yourself on the trade world of Elgit. The planet is located along The Dead Road hyperlane. A range of merchants and swindlers of goods.

You eventually make your way to a cantina, a variety of guards stand out the front. You would note that it is one of the recruiting cantina's for the Hutt Cartel. Ruled by the might [member="Sempra the Hutt"].

Character
He wore Red Raven Shot Caller Armor, the armor looked like it was kept in the best condition, with only a few cuts and scrapes on it. Wrapping itself around his armor was a brown trench coat, the coat itself was once a fine piece of fabric, but now it was almost as run down as an old slave. The coat was severely burnt and carried multiple bullet holes and stains. Strapped to his right thigh was a DL-18, the words "Sunshine" could bee seen sketched into the handle. He wore two wrist mounted weapons, on his left wrist a M99 Rocket system and on his right a CZ Wrist-Mounted Flame Projector. Sitting on the seat beside him was a Red Raven Gauss Rifle equipped with an Augmented Shooting Tool, the strap of the weapon was held around Cadan shoulders and under his arm.

A Kowokian Monkey-Lizard sat on the table in front of Cadan, puffing a large cigar. As Cadan looked down at the creature, he began to speak. "Good thinking Jasper." He reached into his top pocket and produce his own cigar and began smoking, letting the grey plumes of smoke surround him.

Cadan sat waiting, he was unaware whether or not he would be join by a few of his fellow members, [member="Flannigan Mcnash"], [member="Tiali Orazio"], or @Thraxis.

He appeared with not a bang but a yawn, the type of yawn that raises the lip's over the gum's and displays the canine, or in his case lizard teeth, he held an icebreaker, and on his side a Jack knife, on his back a vonginator. gripped between his arm's the icebreak wasn't far, sometimes his hand's and for the most part a strap that loosely hung from his green shoulder, like a vine hanging from a particular lizard like canopy. "Anyone givenss.. you trouble Mister Tazi." he hissed, it wasn't an unfriendly hiss it was more a punctuation between silence and his next sentence, something like a speech impediment but for the whole race of man lizards. "Wouldn'ts.. think the spicess.. master would be out here himself, but it's nice to see the Cartel's leaders getting messy like the rest of us, unlike those democratic Republic." he said democratic as if the word itself was an insult, to him it was and many like him it was one of the reason for religious oppression on Trandosha, he rubbed the crest of the Cartel on his shoulder plate with one scaled hand, fondly if ever there was such a thing for the lizard.

Vinskk loomed into the Cartel-controlled cantina. He had passed the guards with no trouble. They were familiar with the notorious slaver who towered over them, commanding awe and fear thanks to his massive physique. The Trandoshan nodded at [member="Cadan Tazi"] , oddly respectful, before turning to [member="Doska"] .

"A drink on Vinskk for his brother." The lizard then pulled a seat and looked somewhat expectantly at the fellow Trandoshan across from him. It had been a while since he had talked to one of his species. Adjusting the carbine he fondly kept with him at all times, Vinskk then added, "It is pleasing to see fellow servant of the Scorekeeper." He was referring to the goddess of the hunt, whom the Trandoshans served and sacrificed to by hunting and killing. It was a standard part of his people's culture, and with the Cartel, Vinskk was getting paid for it even more than he had gotten slaving solo. Life was easy right now. He had a great ship, a loyal friend, and a group of the most bloodthirsty slavers he had ever seen at his beck and call. What else could he want?

A drink, juma on the rocks, was set down next to him. Perfect. The bartender already knew the frequent consumer's order. Vinskk then cocked his head at [member="Doska"] , wordlessly asking what he would order on him.

"Surprisess.. me," he paused his tongue running the length of his jaw, needle like it worked at the remains of food wedge between the bulk of his teeth. "the Scorekeeper rewards the adventuresses. Tells me brother, how goes the hunt, I have only recently left Trandosha to answer the call of the Hutts." he set his icebreaker down, relaxing at the presences of another of his species. "Sabback," he struggled with the word, it was alien to his mouth his face contorted and the small muscle that pressed out and made his jaw bulge as he worked it. "sabbacc, do you know how to play. I've only recently learnt it and I have already lost half my pay check. Care to try and take the other half." he pulled a deck of cards out of his jacket.

[member="Vinskk Revamp"]

Vinskk clicked in agreement with his fellow Trandoshan brother.

"The hunt is well for Vinskk, brother. The Scorekeeper is supplier of many credits. Many slaves and many furs. Good trade."

The lizard downed some of his drink. Some of it spilled out of the corners of his mouth, falling onto his Wookiee pelt that was worn on his shoulders. He then eyed the deck of cards that [member="Doska"] had pulled out.

"Is sabbacc similar to pazaak?" Vinskk cracked his neck in anticipation. He had plenty of credits, and even if he lost, it would provide some entertainment for the Trandoshan. It had been a while since he had gambled. But he had another question for Doska.

"Please tell, brother. What way does Trandoshan serve the Hutts?"

"Goods," he shuffled the deck fitfully, the sausage like finger's stumbling and placing loose cards into the square of cards with a thump on the table. "Pazaak, is better than Sabbacc." with that he shifted games handing out the cards with a flick of his wrist almost tossing the entire deck of the table with accidental lurch. "Ah! They don't make cards for Trandoshan hand's." he hissed audibly as if the cards themselves might try better next time or be attacked by the Trandoshan.

"We gather slaves, deal with democrats." he nodded thoughtfully at the word 'democrat' as if it meant a grave insult, of course it had been the democratic Republic that had almost driven their religion to the fringe of society. "They pay us good, give us armies and protection from democracy."

[member="Vinskk Revamp"]

Vinskk hissed at all of this. He had an idea that had to do with slaves and this Trandoshan...
"Brother, care to join Vinskk on a slaving expedition?"

He was in need of an extra hand for a particular run the Trandoshan was going to go on. A fellow lizard would be great company, well appreciated, in fact, with credits and the cream of the crop when it came to specific specimens...
[member="Doska"]

"Yess.." he nodded enthusiastically, you could never go on enough slave raids. "That would be good, where we headin' and who are our targetss.." his bulk moving down the line, aligning himself so he'd be adjacent with the near by table, his head would move from [member="Cadan Tazi"], to [member="Vinskk Revamp"]. There was a tremor to his mouth a movement to his lower jaw, one might expect the Trandoshan to be excited but telling from his appearance one might assume he was angry instead.

[member="Vinskk Revamp"]

[member="Doska"]
The Trandoshan nodded at his comrade's eagerness. He could use more slavers like him.

"Soon, brother. Vinskk will contact Doska and leave information. Now, let us play."

He pulled some credits out of a leather purse, setting them up on the corner of the table, ready for a hand.

It was always interesting to see two individuals from separate species mingle, it was interesting to listen to their cultures. Well it would be, if Cadan was interested in that. All he was interested in was getting a few young lads and getting them to sign their life away. Although something [member="Doska"] said was beginning to spark an idea in Cadan's head. He looked from [member="Vinskk Revamp"] to Doska. " 'Ow good are you two at Sabbacc?"

If Cadan could get some drunken people to play, and gamble their lives to the Cartel, then it could be a good way to 'recruit'.
