How to get promoted from Apprentice/Trainee to Knight/Adept and Master/Elite:​

Your character's rank (Apprentice/Trainee, Knight/Adept, Master/Elite) determines which faction ranks you may hold. See the First Order's Rank Structure.

SW: Chaos has very specific rules, which can be read here, on how Force Users are to be promoted. The Knights of Ren will thus adhere to these rules when applying for promotion.

Because the First Order has a large population of Non Force-Users, we will also be using these rules for promoting Non Force User characters as well. This means that:

1.) Going from Trainee to Adept rank must be approved by a Faction Administrator.

2.) Going from Adept to Elite rank must be approved by majority vote by the First Order's other Elite Non Force User characters. Faction Administrators will step in in the event of a tie. If the vote succeeds, the player's name will be submitted to Role-Play Judges to decide if the character may advance to Elite rank.

How to request promotion​

When requesting promotion, please send the following completed form in a private message to one of the Faction Administrators (for a list of current Faction Administrators, please see here).

If requesting Elite or Master rank, please do not create the voting thread yourself. Upon reviewing your request form, a Faction Administrator will create the thread where the vote for your promotion can be decided.

A Faction Administrator or board administrator will inform you as to the success of your promotion when the process is completed.
