How should we handle ranks? [ POLL ]

How should we handle ranks?

Should we:

1) Keep TGC's 3 rank system. Padawan, Jedi, Master, Trainee, Adept, Elite, Apprentice, Sith, Sith Master.

2) No ranks! NONE.

3) Keep the 3 rank system for the Force Users. Leave Neutral Ranks open to interpretation by the faction leaders (ie, neutral ranks will vary from faction to faction.)

4) Use a 5-rank system.

I like the third one.But I feel neutral 'ranks' should be IC ranks like 'Admiral' that have no bearing on your ability to engage other PC's - just as with the three rank system for Force Users. Because even a Grand High Admiral could be killed by an ensign taking over a ship following his Captain's death.

I wouldn't ask factions to adhere to any ruling on neutral ranks. They could be as specific (Admiral) or as unspecific (Adept, Elite) as they wanted them to be.

Alright, that works for me since Mandalorians don't have typical rank structure.

Padawan > Thing Between Padawan & Jedi > Jedi > Jedi Derp > Jedi Master
