Homecoming [ ME & Jedi ]

"I can see why they cherished it so."

The observation of a man clad in beskar broke the relative quiet of morning. He, Mand'alor the Reclaimer, had made a voyage to the site of a recent conquest in order to better understand. At face value, a man whose people took their name from a home world should better comprehend the value of Dantooine; at least compared to the common folk. However, Isley wanted to see it for himself: the Enclave that countless Jedi had once called home. Over time, the hallowed halls within which he stepped were the breeding ground for maturity. Children grew into adulthood - younglings into Jedi Knights. And with said growth came the forging of bonds. He could feel them, rippling through the very air.

It was an unparelleled warmth, whispered through the Force.

Unsullied was this sensation by the Primeval hands which once clutched the world - and upon feeling it himself, the Mand'alor made his decision. Initially, the world and its Enclave were viewed as assets: potential grounds for the maturation of their own Knighthood. However, Isley was unlike those kings which hoarded their treasures under the bellies of drakes. Isley understood what a single building, or a single world, could mean for an entire culture of people. Thus, he opted not to dedicate the Enclave to personal gain, but rather...

"Contact the Jedi."

His order fell upon the ears of an adjacent subordinate, who asked the obvious question:

"Erm...Which ones, Lord Verd?"

"All of them. It's high time they came home."

And to them was a missive sent, formally worded by the Mand'alor himself.

Subject: Dantooine Enclave

-------------//////////////////---------------

Greetings! I hope this message finds you well.

Too long has it been since the Jedi Order has walked the halls of Dantooine's Enclave - and I endeavor to change that. Consider this an open invitation to you and your midst to come and rebuild that which the Primeval had broken.

I hope you accept this invitation; and until then, may the Force be with you.

The Oathkeeper cut through the atmosphere of Dantooine after many long hours spent in hyperspace, having received an invitation to come visit the ancient world that's recently come under Mandalorian control. No doubt the Mand'alor sees this as an oppotunity to extend an olive branch to the Jedi, which, for what it's worth, Thurion finds genuinely admirable. Long have the Mandalorians been a force to be reckoned with in times of war, and these days war is found aplenty. Despite their many differences and long, violent history, the Jedi and Mandalorians share a common enemy in the Sith.

"Stay with the ship, Teetoo," he told the trusty astromech droid, his steady traveling companion for over a decade. He gave it a pat on its head to which the droid let out a cheerful series of beeps just as the ramp lowered itself. Immediately the Dantooinian air entered the rigid holds of the ship, breathing some life into it. And so Thurion disembarked his ship and set foot upon the grassy fields.

Clad in traditional Jedi robes, the Grandmaster of the Silver Sanctum Coalition arrived before the various Mandalorian troopers escorting Mand'alor the Reclaimer, or [member="Isley Verd"] as the man behind the title is known as. Thurion offered a respectful bow to the Mandalorian leader. "Su cuy'gar, Mand'alor," he greeted them. "Forgive me - I'm afraid my Mando'a is severely lacking, and I'd rather not dishonour myself by using the wrong words."

He then extended a hand towards the leader, awaiting his handshake. "Thurion Heavenshield, Grandmaster of the Silver Sanctum Coalition," he formally introduced himself.

OOC: Sorry for not having replied sooner! Don't know if this is still a thing, but I'd love to give it a go. :)

Before them stretched the grassy lawns of the Jedi Enclave of Datoonie, beyond that Coci could see the fields of green reaching for the far horizon meandering over hillocks. The air is crisp and fresh like that of Voss yet there is more here then the beauty of the place. There is a sense of history old, the presence of past Jedi and the like pitted within the very soil, within each blade of grass and the wall of the Enclave that stood welcoming before them. None less so then the man that had issued the invitation to all Jedi to come and retrace the steps of many that had gone before them.

Coci moved up next to her husband and offered a bow with her arm loose by her side, she is presented to Isley Verd in light Jedi Robes made of the finest cloth Voss has to offer, nothing ornate a simply robe but classic by design. As Grand Master of the Silver Sanctum Coalition, Thurion began the greetings and once finished she offered her own hand and words.

"It is a pleasure to meet you Mand'alor Isley Verd, and I thank you for the invitation issued to us to visit this place so important".

This would be a meeting most interesting on a few levels, naturally for the visitation of the Enclave but she wanted to learn more of this Empire and the man at the helm.
