Biography: For Hawken Nikolai, life was at ease. He had finally gained the trust of his fiance's father, and planned to marry her as soon as possible. Smiles and the usual sappy romance filled his free time and made him simply smirk and wonder to himself. "Why me?" One fateful morning would prove to be... drastic, to say the least. Awoken by fires in the sky and bombs bursting all around, Hawken jolted out of his bed and peered out of the window down below at the lush green life of Naboo and unsuspecting bystanders being decimated. He turned away to look at the love of his life, and before he could even tell her to get up and run, the scream of artillery bombarded his home.
The last thing he remembered seeing was her beautiful face going pale with terror. There was only a silence and darkness before he found himself on a cot sometime after. His vision faded once more, but before his consciousness was totally gone, he mumbled the very same two words: "Why me?"
