SHIP: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/BT-7_Thunderclap

STRENGTHS:

Survivability:

Martial arts Programming: Taken from the data banks across the Galaxy, aswell as Masters and Brawlers alike, Harbinger has learned a fighting style to fit most situations. While improvisation still features heavily in his fighting styles regardless of form.

Eternal Life Span: The only natural enemy to the Shard, is Erosion. Unless wholly destroyed, a shards mind will live on in the largest remaining piece of itself.

Electronics Manipulation: On their homeworld, the Shard communicate by way of Electro-Magnetics. The Shard have found this ability quite useful to pilot droids to give them mobility and allow them to leave their homeworld to see the galaxy. With years of practice, and the force to aid him, Harbinger has been able to Surveillance Equipment, Sabotage & Dominate lesser machines, and control the flow of electricity in his own body.

Durability and Survivability: Simply put, the Droid that Harbinger chose to live within, was designed for long range solo assassination missions. Chosen for its unique design and fearsome appeal, As it was damaged over the years it was repaired and upgraded. If left without power to operate the Droid body, Harbinger can draw on the force and his own natural energy manipulation to power his body, though at a reduced efficiency. Immune to slug throwers of lesser calibre. He has a natural fear of the damage a light sabre can do to him in the right hands.

WEAKNESSES:

Proud, Honorable, Vain: Harbinger does nothing, unless it would further his own standing in the Galaxy. His bounty list, to him, is one to be admired. He has a self inflicted code of Honor that is every part Sith as it is Jedi. His fluid morales lead to grey area's so convoluted that sometimes he's not sure himself whats going on. Upkeep is very important to Harbinger. In his idle time, if he's not sharpening his swords, or oiling and cleaning his gun, He's got some part of him taken off for a tuneup. He thinks of his Droid body as a weapon, and a way to interact with the outside world. While he will plunge headlong into danger all for the sake of glory if you provoke him properly.

Poor Strategist: Harbingers plans are usually paper thin at best, and stolen from somewhere else to begin with. He thinks the process tedious and time wasting. When forced to do it, he tries to find the most direct approach regardless of cost or danger.

Low Opinion of Organics: Being a natural synthetic life form with no bodily needs and a long life span, Harbinger looks down on the Organic races. Eating, sleeping, pain, pleasure. He understands the idea of them, after so many years in their galaxy, he has even taken on the mannerisms of some people. But he has no remorse for the way he does his job, pain is an abstract idea to him afterall.

Quick to Anger and Violence: When provoked or challenged, Harbinger likes to settle things with blades, man to man.

APPEARANCE: From the darkness, the figure emerges with slow measured steps. It was taller than expected, 7 feet or so given the shadow that was melting away in the dim light of the alley way. It had red eyes, a dull sombre glow that shed little outward light. A sound like metal scraping on stone soon filled the alley as it entered the light, its long metal legs and wickedly clawed feet made long strides across the ground to close the distance. The light crept over its skeletal design, with hips and spine both being as bare as needed. Its ribcage was large and covered in overlapping plates of rough and damaged steel, a dim blue light shining out from the gaps. Its hands were nothing more than boney fingers that grasped at the wall as he passed by, letting the dragging screech go down the steel wall. And there it was finally before you, It eyes burning down at you from its long vicious looking face. The Droid was old, and in poor condition. The repairs were all fine and well, though the parts used were aged and out of date much like the droid itself. One shoulder looked to have been replaced joint and all with that from another model, adding armor to that one side. It was obvious where more steel had been welded on, or plated over in certain places. The chest and legs were scarred worst of all, some area's had paint and others had only gouged scratched steel.

BIOGRAPHY: Born so long ago he no longer remembers the time of his awakening. The Shard came from Orax, deep in the outer rim. This Sentient race of crystal beings grow in large formations and colonies. Harbinger was told years after being taken from his home world that he had been found in a deep cave below the surface by a young jedi crafting a lightsabre. It was within this weapon that he became aware of the world changing around him, gone were the voices of his kin, replaced with the much more fast paced and noisy galaxy. Being born of the force, Harbinger and his jedi companion talked at length in his early years. Warrior and weapon, they were inseparable.

That was until the fateful day that an experimental assassin droid was tasked with bringing a select few jedi to heel, one way or another. While the droid was successful in killing Harbingers Jedi friend, the droid sustained heavy damages to its power cells, and was forced to use the now discarded lightsabre in its repairs. This was Harbingers first experience being bonded to a droid. The sudden influx of new data from the sensors, the optics and microphones were to much for the young shard to handle at first. In time he managed to control and dominate his droid host's synthetic mind. But not before its mission was nearly complete and he'd been forced to bear silent and captive witness to the deaths of several Jedi he had known through his friend.

Over the years without the guidance of the jedi, and only the cold machine for company, Harbinger began to make the modifications to himself to ensure that he would endure. He would not fall like those who had before him, and he would have his vengeance on those that had killed his friends. Centuries later, that business long taken care of and fading into distorted memory, Harbinger finds himself a simple bounty hunter. Credits pay for travel costs and repairs, the rest he gives away to those who have need. He lives now for the Hunt, the thrill of the chase, and the exploration of the galaxy as a whole.

Just a thought.

Proud, Honorable, Vain
Quick to anger
low opinion of organics

These aren't weaknesses, merely character traits. In no way do they make your character weak. Also if he is a martial artist and programmed so the poor strategist would not be a weakness as hand to hand combat is all about strategy unless you are a brawler and your only strategy is, "punch him, punch him, punch him."

You'll understand when you see him in action. The phrase "loose cannon" doesnt quite sum it up. Property damage, casualties, wreckless endangerment. Its easy to tell where He's been if you follow the smoke.

Sums up a lot of my actual combat threads...

Also, you want a master? I won't necessarily convert you to Sith.

Well well, a Sith Shard. And one that has a weakness for antiques, a crystal after my own heart! Well Harby needs to turning, he's pretty well steeped in anger and violence. How do i get me one of them snazzy shard tags? and Who's a good person to see about a signature like everyone seems to be sporting? Gotta blend with the cool kids!

Thanks muchly! and cudos to the creator. So theres a plot to be had here. One old shard untrained in the force, and a young one well trained. Harby could learn the force from Bond, while he showed Bond how to fully master the potential of his droid bodies capabilities. Thoughts?

Well theres a wonderful introduction. Harby has enough credits in the bank from years of bounties to finally buy a ship for himself. What ships do you make?

Atm, mostly what I call 'ShardFighters', which are basically made to hold the Shard crystal as the pilot. But I'm working on making stuff that humanoids can use. Bond hates being out of his body.

I dabbled on launch, but never played it hard like some. I think its a sturdy looking brute. Shall i drum up a post then and post in the main thread?
