The company also produces synth skin, replacement organs, Produces active ingredients from genetically modified plants and designed fusion methods that can be used to produce a number of beneficial products by GenTech or any other company.
Rationale: After her experience with research and development within the Galactic Corporate sector, Rashae feels she can do it better, cleaner, more efficiently. Her work with the republic have made her acutely aware of how vulnerable and the vacancy of a good supply of master cells or genetic product. That mostly comes out of Galactic Corporate at rather exorbitant rates. Her brilliant concepts and ability to stabilize genetic fusions will make a niche market that can support mass production companies as well as production of her own. Rather finished product or producing reagents or ingredients for other companies and interested parties, she came to the conclusion she needed to do this. A private investor (John Ash) saw the potential talent in the Doctor and Scientist Rashae and provided the funds for the startup bio-tech company.

Description:
There are three main sections of the company complex that spans 300 acres. The Factory, the Fields and the R&D facility. Not all of the acreage is developed as it is used as a security cushion. It has potential as it gains contracts to build out. Pii V is not very populated.
The Factory is where the bulk production is produced and shipped from. Custom orders are handled in a smaller section of the factory once a stable master is created to produce from.
The Fields are where transgenic crops are grown that will produce the ingredients that are extracted to sell in bulk to pharmaceutical and other scientific companies. There is a lot of green houses as Pii V is a little colder than Pii IV. The raw transgenic crop seed is sold to farmers and other interested parties to produce food and the protein compound needed as a main ingredient to make medicines. Those who choose this route have to purchase the extraction formula separately. The protein chain that is produced in any one given crop is a partial or missing a link in the protein chain. The extraction formula completes the protein chain to produce the ingredient. This is usually produced and done in the Factory.
Research and Development is the facility where all the magic happens. Master formulas, cells and compounds are researched, created, and tested to ensure stability.
Gentech is friendly to the smaller company and to small settlements. She is not friendly to Galactic Corporations in general but if the deal looks right, she might deal with them (80% chance of a NO) . They are friendly to the Republic, Alderaan and their allies. Rashae is not above using smugglers to ship her goods through blockades if necessary. Rashae intends on keeping the company small enough to fall under the radar of the huge Galactic corporate conglomerates while solidifying her niche till her product is so much in need, that her presence can not be ignored.
