Gathering the Clans/Scruffy is Back!

Hello all.

With the destruction of Mandalore, and my return from my LOA, I have been having a few people asking me to play Xander once more. I also have a few people who are wanting me to help to do what I can to bring us all together so we can fight against the Sith.

As much as it may seem like a fruitless idea, I am going to go through with it.

I, Xander Carrick, am going to try and bring together the Mandalorians who are deemed worthy to join the cause against the Sith, and other like minded factions.

Why would I come here? I still think there are Mandalorians who are here. They are ready to thread. They are ready to fight back, but they need a reason. I want to create that reason.

If you feel like joining, and want me to mention you, then let me know here.

I will be posting this thread within two days time.

And if anyone feels like they want to play opposition to me, or come to this thread to take a shot at me, Pm me, or talk to me here and we can come up with something. I am more than happy to make a story out of this.

[member="Xander Carrick"] - Honestly? Should just let them die. The Clans as a concept are tired, tried, and failed. I support any mando efforts, but the concept of the Clans as you knew it when you were around needs to just be gone. Pick any other thematic and try it. There's a ton. True Mandos. Neo-Crusaders. Deathwatch. Crusaders. Protectors. Anything. Just let the United Clans die.

I am just saying I am going to start a thread to try and gather any, and all Mandalorians I can get together into a thread. I never liked the concept of the Clans anyways. I am sorry if the title influenced you to think they would be. That was not my intention.

However, Saying that the Mandalorians as a whole should die, I can't let happen.

[member="Xander Carrick"] - Nope. But the Mandos also don't need to be a Faction, Minor or Major, to exist. Particularly Major. But the idea of the united clans and council I despise with a fiiiiiery passion. If you're doing something otherwise, I am down. Though I'll need to find a new char... Ijaat is apt to not be welcomed around Mandos if certain things were ever figured out.

[member="Ijaat Mereel"], I am gathering any Mando at the moment. Who we allow in will be determined later. So if you want to throw Ijaat in, be my guest. Since we have worked together in the past, There is story to be played.

Clans is clearly a no go from what everybody sees. And its not, at all, going to be one clan that rises to the top and claims dominance. As for being Neo-crusaders, or even protectors, I do not know as of this moment. Right now, I am just forming the roots of a foundation that could make a better mandalorian people.

As for being a faction, at best, it will have their own faction page to gather, and to condense everything together, but as for actually fighting in the Map? Thats not going to be happening in the near future, or at least as long as I am running with this idea. I do have a lot of ideas where I could go with this, and want to implement all of them. However, this is just a focal point for me to start from.

What happens on the board, and in the threads, will influence me, and my decision on where I should go with this.

I make this post as a call to other mandalorians to see if anyone is interested in getting something more. The destruction of Mandalore was the end of the clans, and I want to make it the beginning of something new. However, I know this will take time, and many threads to come to fruition.

EDIT:

I speak only now of Sith Alligned as Xander is a Jedi, and it would reflect poorly on him, at the moment, to have Sith aid him. However, that can, and likely will change.

As much as I love everything about the Mandos, it's just hard for them to play along with each other and do something.

Right now, nobody wants to Mando and if they do it's because they're expanding their own clan and not the whole of the Mandos.

Stated above, I said this was just the start. I don't expect everybody to be on board with this. I don't expect to have a lot of traction. Honestly, I don't think I will have more than five people join, but that is all I need. I just need a few people who are willing to push with me.

I won't fault anyone if they don't want to. I don't fault anyone if they feel like my idea is a waste. As you say, they are trying to better themselves. Thats fine. They can go off and do their own thing. However, I am here to make a central point for all who want one. Joining the clans was confusing. Someone wanted a clan, and wanted to be active, but couldn't because that clan was not accepting people, or would die out a few days to a month later. This is no clan. I am not making any clan.

I am bringing together others, who want to see that the Mandalorians could be something more than a jumbled mess of people. We won't have dedicated map positions. We likely wont even have a planet for us to make a "base" or a home for considering that Mandalore has quite literally gone to hell.

As I stated above, this is just to call any Mandalorian characters who want to do something more with their characters. This is to create story.

If you want to give a critical view point of this, or give constructive criticism about it, then be my guest. I welcome it because I know that I, nor anybody here is perfect. We all can learn. Thank you for voicing your opinion.
