Adieu...
So, after last week’s State of the Republic Address, normal service has been resumed. And I want to start by saying that membership just keeps on growing. We have forty-three more members than we had five weeks ago when this weekly update started. When you stop to think about it – that’s a massive increase. To put it into perspective – out of 50 Factions on the board, that many members alone would have created the 17th largest.
And if you add in the number of characters that never left but have found a new lease of life – that number grows even bigger. And there’s one reason that stands out as being the one that draws people in and also back – and that’s you. It’s a reflection of just how active we are again.
From military skirmishes to political intrigue. From the creation and purchase of new hardware to the training of new Padawans – we’ve got the full range of activity covered. And not every new member is as pure as the driven snow, so nobody could ever accuse us of being one-dimensional. And as well as the many threads on our Republic site, you can’t look at the Open or Private boards without seeing Republic characters heavily involved.
The other thing to mention is that we’re continuing to tidy up our site. If you see a section that looks like it could do with re-vamping/updating/archiving – just let us know. And if you can’t find it – we should create it, so the same applies. A number of the changes we’ve already made are the result of member’s feedback.
For those that read the Faction Leaders address last week (it’s here for anyone who missed it*) I’ll just say that Kiskla mentioned a potential move of the capitol from Anaxes. Don’t worry, you haven’t missed anything and any decision will most definitely be made as a result of a discussion by the members.
And in case you’re wondering – yes I do have a different sweater to wear up until Christmas Day. What about the day itself? You’ll just have to log-in to find out.
And don’t forget…you stay classy Galactic Republic.
