  • Description: The Fort, actually the army base of the entire garrison of the planet, is located on the surface of Bonadan. It is a huge complex of barracks, hangars, armouries and command building, fortifications and tunnels.
POINTS OF INTEREST
Headquarters
The headquarters of the Fort and the garrison is a building complex inside the fort. It contains various different areas of significance. The operation centre, the officers quarters, the primary weapon controls, the secondary power controls, the main communication relays, the office of the commander and a small hangar. Most of it is beneath the surface, covered by several meters of durasteel and concrete.
There is a secondary and third command centre as well as communication centres in the sub-levels of the fort to be able to control the defences even when one command centre has been shut down or captured. Unknown to basically everyone except the fort commander and the governor, is a little rock formation roughly one hundred kilometers away. In a very remote area where neither industry nor mining is, are several rocks and rubble. They are hiding a reserve communication relays which allows the base to communicate at every time, even when being besieged and obviously being jammed or with crippled communications.

Power support
The fort has an autark energy supply. In dozens of meters depth beneath the lowest levels of the fort are three large fusion reactors. They are located at the edges of a triangular and divided from each other with separate power conduction. Each has its own power control room and the entire power supply of the base can be controlled from each of the rooms, though only with specific and highly classified secruity clearances.

Hangars I-IV
Housing the starfighter garrison of the planets defence forces the hangars of the base are both located on and beneath the surface. Each hangar building has its own sub-levels where the remaining starfighters are stored. It is to be noted that only two squadrons of TIE Starfighters are at once in surface hangars to minimise possible sabotage or assault casualties.

Sub-Levels
The entire base is connected by below-surface tunnels which connect all buildings and control rooms with each other. The tunnels are separated into 20-meter sections which end in front of a traverse, every two traverses is a security door. This increases the chances for successful defence and control of these tunnels. Exits and entrances are always guarded and locked by a security door as well. The highest tunnel niveau is roughly 15 meters beneath the surface.

Fortifications and Defences
The fortifications of the fort are composed of massive walls of ten meters in height, made of massive concrete and durasteel, usually more than a dozen meters thick, the wall is reinforced every fifty meters by a round bunker which allows an all around view. Inside the wall itself are magazines for artillery, anti-air weapons and shield pylons.
The entire base has at its core a massive shield pylon which is connected to two dozens smaller pylons which are in the wall. This way the power of the massive deflector can be conducted through various sources and allows for a maximum power usage.

Offensive Armament
Spread across the base are the anti-air laser cannons, four-barrels, pointing from platforms and roofs into the sky to shoot down any enemy aircraft attacking. Bunkers holding the turblaser emplacements are incorperated into the defence walls to serve as both, anti ground and anti-air or even anti-orbit weapons. Thinly spread across the base are rotary cannons, designing with improved targetting matrixes and system to focus on incoming warheads, torpedoes and bombs. On the wall itself, not in turrets or emplacements, are laser cannon to provide relaiable support against ground and air attacks. Additionally there are more turbolasers in turrets placed directly in front of the wall, their purpose to destroy everything armoured which dares to attack the Fort. The remainin weapons are not permanently manned and are being used by the infantry of the base when on alert.

Military Grade Sensors
Spread across the entire base are sensors, at towers, gates, bunkers - to get a perfect model of the fort and its surrounding area. Linked with targetting computers the weapon controllers beneath the earth are able to focus their efforts and workings to establish deathzones for both, air and ground attacks.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
After expanding their realm to the corporate sector, the Sith Empire made sure keep a strong grip around the planets under direct imperial authority. Garrisons were the tool to enforce this order. Fort Tomb was established as soon as the authority struggles were ordered and fixed by the new overlords of the Sith Empire.
This garrison was seen as a vital one due to its location on the Hydian Way and one of the strongest trade knots in the northern Outer Rim. It took several years to finish the excessive construction of this fortress which does not at all fit the title of Fort. The total garrison of the Fort should be around 100.000 men including all service forms and branches. The garrison itself was equipped to swiftly travel and deploy all around the globe in the difficult terrain of the industrial complexes.
The garrison itself has no seen any uprisings or rebellion so far, just participated in some demonstration control, which were caused by certain corperation policies. Maintaining security and order is their main purpose right now, yet these planetary defence forces are more than capable of going to war.

[member="Iso Kaigumo"] This looks lovely. Just one small note before I can stamp it.

1.) Under Affiliation: Please link "The Sith Empire" to the faction page. Otherwise, it looks good to me. Please tag me when done.
