  • Extreme Armament - Hundreds of turbolaser batteries pepper the exposed surfaces of this powerful star dreadnought, enough to tear through the hull of other ships in mere seconds after a barrage begins. Embodies Wrath

  • Extreme Shielding - Protecting itself and its inhabitants, the starship features the ingenious Kyb-X shield system and two impressive layers of deflector shielding that ensure that if one were to fall, another would take its place and so on and so forth. Embodies Resolve

  • Command Ship - The sheer size of the vessel, as well as the extensive systems that have been installed to coordinate Imperial operations in an entire oversector, designate it as a command ship, and it fits this role perfectly. Embodies Order

  • Invasion Force - Deep within the bowels of this dreadnought is an entire army waiting for deployment, including several dozen walkers and tanks as well as thousands of First Order regulars, complimented by a task force of stormtroopers and the dropships needed to carry the Imperial War Machine.

  • Low Maneuverability - A ship of this size is not exactly designed to be able to complete a one hundred eighty degree turn in two minutes, and it can't. The manoeuvrability of this hulking beast is sub-par compared to ships of its class and smaller battlecruisers.

  • Very Low Speed - While several large ion drives are installed on the vessel, the sheer size of it makes it difficult to propel it through space, garnering it a 'Very Low' for a ship of its class. Compared to a standard star destroyer, the Pellaeon can move the speed of a frail old man.

  • Command Ship - Even with the armament, even with the defences. This is a command ship, it is in no way meant to challenge fleets alone, which it cannot do anyway. It requires escorts, big and small, to cover its blind spots and assist it. Also, if this ship were to fall, it could destabilize any and all Imperial operations in the oversector, meaning it would make things easier for adversaries while the Navy attempts to re-establish command.

  • Reduced Hangar - In accordance with size restrictions as well as other limitations, the hangar isn't on-par with other star dreadnoughts.

The INV Pellaeon was already one of the Galaxy’s most powerful vessels, but with the arrival of the Galactic Empire’s refugees into First Order space, and subsequent incorporation of such vessels into the First Order Navy, new updates were needed. Engineers from the First Order Navy wished to put their stamp upon the Galactic Empire’s flagship, the Pellaeon, and so, its designation was changed, from that of Imperial Naval Vessel to the First Order’s FIV, First Imperial Vessel.

The Pellaeon was quite a marvel of engineering, boasting massive weapons and defensive output. However, like all imperial-style doctrines of battle, the Pellaeon’s shortcomings could be felt in the fact that its engines are subpar, meaning the vessel is neither fast nor manoeuvrable. This is compensated for by the impressive armament and defensive capabilities. Hangar space also took a secondary place, relegated to support vessels which would aid and travel with the Pelleaon.

The new updates to the vessel performed by the First Order were the installation of three technologies to update it. The first, and perhaps most noticeable, was the application of the mighty Mega-Class turbolaser, a massive battery, designed to crush shields. The Mega-Class, in one blast from its three guns, does the equivalent of 50 turbolaser blasts worth of damage, making it an effective, and a potentially critical piece of ordinance.

The next two adjustments were defensive in nature. The incorporation of a Bastion-class missile defence system was but natural. Even towards the end of the Galactic Empire’s reign, the system was beginning to be used by the Empire, but now in the hands of the First Order, it was a natural addition. The bastion system allows for effective coordination of point defence weaponry, which can prove critical in possibly negating, but more likely blunting an enemy attack.

The last addition was scientific in nature. With the First Order had for a long time pursued scientific experimentation for the application of kyber crystals for military purposes, with a recent breakthrough in the Kyb-X shield program. The Kyb-X shield is a shield, which is like any other, in terms of scale, and size. However, it is four times as strong, thanks to the use of kyber crystals as transmitters and energy regulators. Although the shield decays quite fast, it gives the vessel, at least at the start of a battle, a shield which is nearly more powerful than a ship quadruple its size.

Hello, I'll be the factory judge reviewing your submission. If you have questions, please feel free to respond to this thread once we are underway.

This submission has been pulled for re-review as a super star destroyer/dreadnought to be transferred from an older major faction to a new one.

This submission does not require new/additional dominions to be provided for approval, it only needs balancing.
