  • Description: The Rajakzânkut were the culmination of many decades of scientific research and experimentation with cloning and genetic engineering. Far more than just a manufactured clone army, the Rajakzânkut were superiorly engineered lifeforms grown from multiple genetic sequences. Each Rajakzân was genetically identical, but not a one-to-one copy, of each other. This deviation between all Rajakzânkut was achieved through the process of strand-casting, taking multiple genetic donations and splicing them together to form new life. Most of these donations were acquired through loyal Sith-Imperial families, while others were harvested from beings across the galaxy without their knowledge.

Creation of the Rajakzânkut was accomplished with the aid of the AN-X1 "Paradigm" Genetic Matrix, a specially crafted genetic sequencer that allowed Kainate scientists to more deftly manipulate genetic strands. With this tool, desirable traits could be more easily accentuated while negative mutations could be more easily excised. Usage of the genetic matrix took a great deal of time and patience to learn, but rigorous experimentation resulted in a cadre of highly skilled geneticists capable of transforming any type of genetic material into new, and often twisted, forms of life. The technology of the genetic matrix was further augmented with technology and software acquired from the Kaminoans, the Arkanians, the Khommites, and Spaarti Creations.

Each Rajakzân was incubated with the use of AN-O1 "Ambertear" Exowombs, their growth monitored and accelerated beyond normal levels. While they were growing, each Rajakzân was imprinted with flash-memories to prepare them for deployment shortly after their growth period came to an end. Growing inside each Rajakzân was a specialized compliance gland, which was designed to run a loyalty program to ensure that few, if any, deviated from their intended purpose. The programming in this gland was meticulously tailored for exceptional loyalty to Darth Carnifex, the architect of the Rajakzânkut, who demanded uncompromising fidelity. The operational rate of these glands were in the positive ranges, with only a few aberrations being documented outside of controlled test facilities.

Improved from the first generation, the Rajakzânkut enjoyed a number of enhancements which made them stronger, faster, more resilient, and more durable. As pertaining to strength, a typical Rajakzân can carry over 340kg with little strain. In terms of speed and endurance, footspeed of over 50 km/h were possible, which could be maintained for hours, if necessary. Their bodies were also considered to be quite elastic, their flexibility greater than that of the average member of their various origin species. However, one of their most frightening advantages came in reaction time and mental processing speed, allowing them to respond to stimuli in times measured in single digit milliseconds. For this reason, they often considered unaugmented sapients to be sluggish and dull-witted. Finally, their resilience affords them a greater resistance to disease and illness, in addition to improved healing owing to a specialized Biorestoration gland.

  • Average Length of Adults: N/A
  • Skin Color: Variable (Depends on strand-cast biotype)
  • Hair Color: Variable (Depends on strand-cast biotype)
  • Distinctions: Rajakzânkut were prone to genetic quirks not commonly found among their naturally born counterparts. These usually manifested in non-advantageous and benign manners, such as sub-standard height, unusual redistribution of fat cells, abnormal skin pigmentation, and atypical hair colorations. Being as these mutations did not negative affect strand-cast performance in both combat and non-combat operations, they were allow to persist.
  • Races: The Rajakzânkut were created from a host of different species, and thus these strand-casts were incredibly diverse. The most common variant of Rajakzân was the Tionese Human, as the loyalist families that relocated to Malsheem were primarily comprised of this group. However, alien species were also prevalent.

  • Diet:
    • Primarily Omnivorous
    • Is typically fed artificial rations high in nutrients to conserve supplies
  • Communication:
    • Galactic Basic Standard - Lingua franca of the wider galaxy, used for external communication.
    • Ghoulspeak - Artificial coded language used exclusively by the strand-casts of the Kainate.
    • ur-Kittât - Religious language of the Sith, reserved for IX-73b strand-casts.
  • Technology Level: The Rajakzânkut were technologically advanced, possessing the wealth of bleed-edge technology at the disposal of the Kainate. Being inexorably linked with the Kainate, any new progression in technology was automatically provided to the strand-casts, which formed the majority of the Kainate's standing army.
  • Religion/Beliefs: Darth Carnifex instilled a deep reverence of Himself into the Rajakzânkut long before they acquired consciousness, a fact that He oft reminded them of. This was framed in a deeply religious sense, that He was their creator; molding them from clay, breathing life into them, casting thought into their minds, and giving them purpose. In return, the Rajakzânkut worshiped Him as though He were a god. They were eager to commit their lives to Him, willing to even end it should He desire it so. This fanatical and suicidal devotion was ubiquitous, though there were deviations in the displays of devotion from strand-cast to strand-cast. Many aspired to emulate their Eternal Father, casting themselves in a semblance of His likeness, and adorning themselves with tattoos that venerated His divine being.

Likewise, the Rajakzânkut held a unique view of themselves in relation to the wider galaxy. They saw themselves as pure creatures, molded by the Eternal Father separate from the unclean galaxy beyond Malsheem's walls. Creatures born of natural means were considered lesser, impure, and sin-ridden semi-sentients. The only exemption were those sprung forth from the loins of the Eternal Father, the Zambranos, whom were considered greater than those of the natural galaxy, but still lesser than that of their perfect god. Because of their hyper-disdain for the impure galaxy, the vast majority of Rajakzânkut abstained from those things were originated from it.

The Rajakzânkut were faithful to the concept of the Eclipsing Mission, the grand ambition to remake the impure galaxy into one modeled after their Eternal Father; a perfect universe. They simultaneously believed that objects from the impure galaxy, such as people, could be elevated towards purity by the hands of the Eternal Father. Often, this manifested as individuals blessed by the Eternal Father rising in stature in the Rajakzânkut's eyes. Few ever achieved this, but those that did were considered especially blessed; some were even venerated as holy in their own right. To receive the Eternal Father's blessing was something all Rajakzânkut sought, craving His mere presence, and yearning to receive His attention.
  • General Behavior: Rajakzânkut were generally viewed as asocial when placed out of their preferred company, particularly in the presence of those not aligned with the Kainate. They had been so indoctrinated in Eternal Rule that they found the idea of anything that deviated from its teachings as confusing and incomprehensible, often developing hostile reactions to anything that ran contrary to their programming. They did, however, possess a strong bond of kinship with their fellow strand-casts, as they were bound by their method of creation; or as they called it, the 'cradle of the womb'. This line of thought was actively encouraged within the Kainate.

    By their education and training,
Rajakzânkut typically abstained from many activities that would be considered hedonistic by the most pious of ascetics. They abhorred gaudy food, alcohol, narcotics, and all forms of pleasurable physical contact. This strong discipline made the Rajakzânkut exceptionally focused on their allotted position within Kainate society, which had been predetermined during their gestation based on physical and genetical attributes that they had developed. There were some, however, that veered from the path set for them, and secretly indulged in such vices beneath the notices of their brethren-strands and their natural-born overseers. These individuals often sought out likeminded strands and formed secretive lodges to explore the aspects of existence forbidden to them.

    Naturally,
Rajakzânkut were curious creations. Dazzled by the sights of the wider galaxy around them, they were quick to fascination with objects, people, and places that were utterly foreign to them. Some even held a strong desire to visit the homeworld of the species they had been born into, although this was typically discouraged by Kainate High Command as it could potentially led to critical cognitive dissonance between what they've been conditioned to believe and the reality that's placed before them. However, regular neural therapies administered via Reconditioning enabled strands to overcome any potential erraticism in their thought patterns in breach of their programming.

Due to the nature of their creation, strands generally required far less sleep than natural-born individuals to completely recharge. Only a few hours of sleep was needed, although this process could be even more streamlined through the use of HyperSleep caskets present at the vast majority of Kainate facilities. These caskets simultaneously induced an artificial sleep and create vivid simulations in place of dreams, allowing the strands to receive further indoctrination and training during these periods of inactivity. Likewise, strand-cast soldiers en route to a combat zone would be instructed via a HyperSleep casket, and then activated prior to deployment.

Outside of prayer, drill, training, and other demands of military life, Rajakzânkut often embraced hobbies, the spectrum of which included dance, music, art, athletics, and artisanship. Such pursuits were often encouraged by Kainate authorities as a means to satisfy creative impulses, solidify bonds of kinship, and provide outlets for creative expression that do not threaten conditioning. While the contents of such hobbies were doubtlessly closely monitored, strand-casts were generally free to pursue hobbies as they saw fit, so long as they remained second to their primary duties.

The first iteration of the Rajakzânkut came about from experiments in cloning technology by Darth Carnifex sometime around the year 855 ABY. At this time, the Sith Empire under the authority of Darth Carnifex had laid low the Galactic Alliance, virtually eradicating their entire government apparatus with one swift decapitating strike at Coruscant. With the greatest threat to the Sith Empire eliminated, the Sith Emperor was free to continue with His experiments without threat of intervention by the Jedi and their lapdogs. He again sought the aid of Taeli Raaf Taeli Raaf , the greatest scientific mind known to the galaxy, and her immense resources in Spaarti Creations. Together, they envisioned an army of obedient soldiers born of advanced genetic science and the art of cloning.
However, early trials did not live up to either Sith's expectations. Initial cloned subjects were stunted and mentally deficient, necessitating their liquidation shortly after gestation. Later trials were an improvement, each successive generation of clone being more stable than the previous, but still not sufficient enough to please the Sith Lords. Initially, they had only been taking direct samples from several donors and creating copies from those individual genetic strands. These resulted in identical copies of the donors, but were notably unstable and only lived for a short time before their DNA broke down.
Success was achieved through the aggregation of different genetic strands, which resulted in a stronger, more stable cloned subject. These strand-casts were virtually undisguisable from natural-born individuals, save for their general naiveté and underdeveloped personalities. Enamored by this early achievement, Carnifex and Taeli ordered the strand-casts euthanized, their bodies studied, and their genetic strands harvested. Many generations of strand-casts suffered this same fate as the Sith Lords refined their process, keeping detailed records about the gene-splicing and gestation process. Ultimately, their efforts would bear more tangible fruit.
Years of research and experimentation finally led to the creation of the first true Rajakzânkut, a batch created within the bowels of the Malsheem that bore alphanumeric designation IX-73. Unlike the initial successes, these strand-casts were comparable to adults in terms of personality the moment they emerged from the exowombs. Advancements in prenatal flash-learning imparted all of the requisite knowledge into the strand-cast's mind prior to birth, allowing them to be quickly moved into advanced training before being deployed.
Primarily, the Rajakzânkut were intended to supplement the standard Imperial Legion of the Sith Empire in areas where the Empire's presence was considered substandard. However, with the advent of the Third Imperial Civil War, the Rajakzânkut were relegated to direct frontline combat operations throughout the Tingel Arm. Analysists monitored Rajakzânkut regiment performance in the field, meticulously recording the general disposition and fighting prowess of each strand-cast soldier, how well they interacted with typical Legion personnel, and if they obeyed commands and followed through on relayed tactics. This data proved invaluable, even as the fortunes of the Sith Empire waned over the course of the civil war.
Few Rajakzânkut survived the crucible of the Third Imperial Civil War, but those who did were elevated as the first officer caste of the resulting Rajakzânkut fighting corps. Darth Carnifex shifted His ambitions for the Rajakzânkut at this time, accelerating production to fill in the gaps of the Imperial Legion following the Sith Empire's disintegration. Whatever remained of the Imperial Legion loyal to the Sith was absorbed into Darth Carnifex's personal power base, the Kainate, and rechristened as the Kainate Grand Army. While much of the command structure of this Grand Army was comprised of former Legionnaires, the bulk of the fighting force would be Rajakzânkut strand-casts.
Darth Carnifex also began to seriously implement a new form of Rajakzânkut, the IX-73b. The IX-73b was Darth Carnifex's attempts to engineer a Force-sensitive variant of the standard IX-73, which was henceforth designated IX-73a. Prior to this, Darth Carnifex had carefully accumulated a collection of Force-sensitive DNA from both Sith and Jedi. Taking the standard IX-73a strand-amalgamation, Darth Carnifex carefully implanted these harvested Force-sensitive strands into the genetic sequence. Failures were abundant during this time, as Force-sensitive DNA was notoriously difficult to replicate artificially, as the very Force itself seemed to fight against the process.
However, through dark magic known only to the Lords of the Sith, Darth Carnifex was able to engineer a viable strand-sequence. Implementation of this sequence into the exowombs generated the first of the new Sith that the Dark Lord hoped to foster. Again, like their forebearers, complications were numerous among them. Many died shortly after birth, while others were driven to madness as their own cells rebelled against them, but there were some who stabilized and flourished. Darth Carnifex took these as apprentices, and instructed them in the way of the Sith and the Dark Side. He would inevitably kill several of these apprentices, but those that survived would go on to instruct their own disciples.
As time passed, Darth Carnifex grew more and more adept at engineering strand-casts, resulting in far few deformities with each generation. Eventually, the newer generations would outpace the abilities of the old. But rather than cycling the older generations out and disposing of them, Darth Carnifex formulated a serum which when injected into an older generation Rajakzânkut, would fundamentally alter their DNA to match that of the newer generations, effectively accelerating their evolution to the current standard.

Thank you for your patience, it's been a crazy week for me. I've enjoyed reading this sub, it's a very interesting idea. I can't wait to see these clones in action. I just have one thing to address in this submission:

IX-73b Force Sensitivity | Per the Species Creation Rules, Completely Force-sensitive species "should include appropriate weaknesses, such as difficulties with Force Null fields". Perhaps, if they have an affinity towards the Dark Side due to their affiliation and training, they're vulnerable to Force Light/Light-side Force abilities. Please include a few weaknesses to account for some drawbacks of having Force sensitivity.
