STRENGTHS / WEAKNESSES
+ Highly Trained
: Recruited from a more discerning pool of contractors than the average Exchange enforcers, tactical operatives are efficient soldiers. Trained in advanced tactics and comfortable working together as a unit, tac teams are the syndicate's brute strike option.
+ Well Equipped: Outfitted with military grade equipment and ruthless black market weaponry, tac teams are considerably more supplied than the average enforcer. They often make use of high tech gadgets to gain a strategic edge in engagements.
- Just Following Orders: Tac teams are blunt instruments. While they are trained to deal with more than the average Exchange goon, taking any kind of initiative can lead to the kind of recognition most operatives would prefer to avoid. Several tactical operations have gone sideways because of insufficiently specific commands.
- Reactionary Force: As a special operations unit, tac teams are in short supply. While a particularly powerful and paranoid Exchange vigo might keep a team on retainer, they are far more often used to strike back when their holdings are threatened, or as a surgical strike option to get rid of upstart competitors in their territory.

DESCRIPTION

Sometimes an enforcer shows particularly exceptional combat prowess, but otherwise does not display sufficient critical thinking skills and independent thought to be made into a fixer. These candidates are often recruited into Tac Teams.

While particularly profitable branches have been known to train such teams in house, most are at least officially associated with SalvaSec proper (the security team charged with protecting Salvatrucha corporate holdings). As such, they answer directly to the Regulators and the Underlord himself, to be loaned out on a discretionary basis upon request.

For all intents and purposes a corporate funded paramilitary strike force, Tac Teams are trained for situations such as breach and clear operations, demolitions, area denial, and high value target extraction/assassination.

For the Exchange, extreme violence is a last resort, and so regional bosses tend to exhaust all other options in dealing with a problem before they endure the scrutiny of sending for a Tac Team. But there are times when the use of these forces can be critical for the syndicate's operations, so a failure to request one early enough can also be punished for either cowardice or foolishness.
