Excavation of Tund [Open]

| [member="Myles Vylumnar"] |

The Sorcerers of Tund had been known to the Sith for at least a millennia. Texts recovered over the past couple of decades gave some light to the Four-Hundred Darkness. Scholars and historians that studied the dark side had agreed that there was a direct link between the Sorcerers and the ancient Sith, but information was scarce. Such was the price of the Gulag Plague.

Arranging an excavation on the planet Tund, Avedia Lacroix and a team consisting of historians, archeologists and scientists had been excavating an ancient temple. Having been a former member of the Jedi Order, Avedia remembered reading the reports of the Republic led assault on Tund a few years ago that had ended in the star system joining the Galactic Republic.

If not for the interference of the Knights of the Republic, then the Sith Lord might never have learned of the Sorcerers of Tund. But now that she studied the ways of the dark side, Avedia was eager to learn more about the Sorcerers of Tund and seize their knowledge, powers and philosophy for herself. Having funded the venture from her personal estate, Avedia was waiting for the first discovery to be made...

In the common era, an excavation was the furthest thing from dangerous.

There were common hazards of course - scrapes, bruises, and the occasional twisted ankle. However, one's life was typically not in mortal peril when embarking upon such ventures. Unless...the Dark Side was involved. As History had demonstrated time and time again, attempting to unearth what Sith and their ilk had buried almost always resulted in harm. Their ancient knowledge was always hidden deep and was extremely well protected. Traps, spirits, and a sithspawn or two were commonplace during these types of excavations.

And so, [member="Avedia Lacroix"] had commissioned some extra muscle.

All about the dig site, Malok and the ApeX horde kept watch. Their numbers were just shy of a platoon – more than enough to put down any monstrosity that endangered the workers. The pay for this particular gig was average, and some of horde questioned why they had even taken the job. It wasn't like they were guaranteed a fight. In truth, it was the curiosity of their Commander that had been a driving force in their presence this day. Ever since his journey to Korriban, Malok had been itching to learn more.

He wanted to know everything he could about what tugged at his very soul: Darkness.

And thus, whilst standing at arm's length of the excavation's lead, Malok oversaw his men. His stance was at attention with hands held behind his back. His amber gaze moved from warrior to warrior, ensuring their positions in the case of calamity. Then, without taking his eyes off of his charges, the Behemoth spoke. A question, simple in nature, was posed to the woman.

"Can you tell me about them?" he asked. "The Sorcerers of Tund?"

Garbed in a dark Sith robe, Avedia surveyed the area with her fiery gaze, searching not only with her eyes but with the Force itself. It was like the first day she had arrived on Dosuun and settled in Avalonia. She had felt the power of the dark side on the planet, feeling the Order of Ren as they went about their work. It was the same for Tund. There was something to be discovered here. Unlike Korriban, which was a husk, hollowed world that had lost it's potency, the dark side was strong here and Avedia could only help but smile at the temptation of forbidden, long lost knowledge.

Excavations such as these required security. Avedia had learned from her previous mistakes, by not properly preparing for such encounters with the dark side. She had almost cost herself the prized possession of Darth Revan's Sith Holocron by foolishly allowing a Dark Jedi to board her ship and spy on her on the bequest of his Sith Master. If she had properly prepared, then Vaulkhar and Ferus would have been killed, or at the very least, captured and interrogated for information. But the pair had escaped the Ayrix. She would not repeat the same mistake twice.

Turning her gaze to Malok, the hooded Sith Lord replied: "Not much. They had a connection to the Sith, but I am yet to discover how or why they were connected. Furthermore I do not know what the Sorcerers of Tund could do with the Force, or how they believed in the Force. Perhaps they followed the Sith Code, or perhaps they came up with their own beliefs in regards to the Force. I will try to learn what I can from this excavation and leave Tund stronger than when I had first arrived."

Nemis stopped to wipe his brow before returning to laboring at the hard work of digging the rough terrain of Tund. It had been just a day and a half since he had awoken from his coma and the closest he had come to advancing his powers in the Dark Side was moving some mounds of dirt that apparently held great power. Not that he'd get any of that power for himself.

After learning that he had been in a coma ever since he had joined the One Sith a year ago, and that in that time, the One Sith had fallen, Nemis thought very little about actually gaining more power. Instead, he turned to his self-preservative instinct and immediately found the first job that would pay him.

At first, it had been hard to sense the force after his coma, but now, he could feel it blaring like overbearing Cantina music, specifically from three distinct places most prevalently: His employer who hadn't mentioned her intentions with whatever was found, or even exactly what it was; the towering Ma'alkerrite who lead the hulking beasts protecting the site; and about 10 meters directly below his feet...

If there were any scanners, they would notice a ship entering the planet's atmosphere some kilometers away.

For Myles, this job was a goldmine. Not only would he make a living selling whatever artifacts he found to a collector, but he also figured it wouldn't hurt to take a peek in whatever he would find. The only real issue was actually finding anything...

As he broke the planet's atmosphere, he had sort of a weird feeling. Sadness. It was sadness. Depression, even. Then, anger. Rage, rage for all the troubles and hardships he went through in life. He held himself highly, and he knew he deserved better. He blamed his hardships on people, people who had done him wrong in the past. It was all their fault, and he wanted to see them suffer. They had to pay for what they had done to him, such is the way of true justice.

But that was just his imagination running wild again.

He landed in a barren, ashy clearing. Though, that could have been said for the entirety of the planet. Ahead of him was a large cave. It was like a giant hole in the planet's surface. It was hard to see through the ashen winds, but Myles felt something pulling him toward the cave. He shielded his eyes, marching on forward through the strong winds. It was strong, and much like a feeling he had experienced a while before when he had encountered a Jedi in need of aid. However, this feeling was much darker. Subtly, it pulled away at his mental state. This feeling was also much stronger. Rather than being driven by hope, he was now being driven by desire. It led him to the mouth of the cave, shelter from the outside climate.

It was completely dark, nearly impossible to see. Myles, however, was determined. He was driven by greed and passion, dead-set on finding what he had come here for.

He was vulnerable. Vulnerable to the planet itself. It brought out his inner potential, drawing his emotions. Myles was known to be quite the emotional character, but never on this level. It was to the point of confusion. At this point, nothing else mattered but pressing on into the depths.

As Avedia and Malok conversed, the dig site team had uncovered a library that had been hidden inside the temple. During the excavation, one of the members of the archeology team that had discovered the library section had been killed by a trap left behind by the Sorcerers of Tund. After being alerted to the discovery and subsequent death, Avedia had ordered for the team to pull out of the temple, so that she could investigate the library for herself.

"I will be heading into this discovered section of the temple," Avedia explained to Malok and the others. Departing the camp site, Avedia entered the temple and begun to make her way towards the library, to discover what had been left behind by the sorcerers that had once lived here.

Nemis' employer knew that a booby trap left by the so called "sorcerers" had killed a member of the excavation team. What she didn't know was that it could've been far worse. As the young worker uncovered the ancient door, Nemis could already feel something...unnatural about it, but paid no mind to it. It wasn't until the worker began pushing the door open that Nemis sprang into action. The worker opening the door was immediately swallowed by darkness and died instantly. The first thing Nemis did was push all 20 of the other workers a reasonable distance from the door; then, he held the blast back as best he could. All told, it was possible he saved the entire site. All that mattered to him was that he had definitely saved himself and his paycheck.

It didn't take long for Nemis to become curious about what his employer was looking for in the site he'd spent so much time and effort uncovering for her. He could feel the dark side from within the structure, and it was hard for him to keep away the urge to rush towards it. He also wasn't pleased that the job had been cut short. He had overheard some whispers that she wouldn't pay nearly as much as she would've if the job had gone on.

"Screw it," Nemis breathed to himself as he jumped off the rock he had been sitting on. He snuck back into the site and straight into the temple.

Stronger than when I first arrived.

The Behemoth hearkened to the words of his employer, nodding ever so slightly as she divulged new information about the Sorcerers. At face value, Malok found the tidbit intriguing - but what piqued his interest more was the ambition of the woman beside him. She aspired to leave the world stronger than when she came...and that was a terrifying prospect. Even now, the Behemoth knew that his stature and strength would do little against the power wielded by the woman...for from her emanated whispers of power. Perhaps she was working to keep her true might in check - or perhaps his senses were simply unrefined.

Whatever the case was, Malok identified his employer as a potential hurricane...and ramping her up to category six was dangerous. Very dangerous.

"Sir, we've got a ping on the radar."

The gruff voice of an adjacent subordinate briefly tugged Malok from his thoughts. "What do we got?"

"Came in fast, not too big. Thinking a starfighter or shuttle."

"Hmm...How far out did they land?"

"Bout a klik our so at most."

"Hmm...Send a squad out that way. I want eyes on it."

"Aye sir."

With his orders issued, Malok returned his attention back to [member="Avedia Lacroix"]. For a moment, he mulled over what to say...but then, he felt that tug upon his being. It reached down and stirred something deep...something Hungry. He wanted more. He wanted to be more...to be that silent hurricane and more. "I couldn't agree more. Here's hoping that we both leave Tund changed."

As the words escaped him, the shudder of stones caught his attention. The workers had struck metaphorical gold - opening the way to what they identified as a library. Malok's employer quickly announced her intentions to dive into the unearthed temple, and the Behemoth was wordlessly at her heels. Powerhammer resting over his shoulder, the Commander gave silent orders to his men. He signaled for a portion to remain above ground whilst a number followed them in...just in case.

All the while, his dispatched squad drew ever closer to [member="Myles Vylumnar"] and the cave he had discovered.

Flick

Flick!

The cave lit up as sparkles sprinkled around from a flare. The cave system was vast, deep, and seemed to only lead downward. Myles continued walking along, beginning to question if this job was really worth it. The young pilot had never really involved himself much with the force, only really reading about it from time to time. It piqued his interest, but he saw it as something out of his reach; A waste of time and effort to dedicate yourself to something that didn't really matter once you were dead. Maybe he was just being naive, but Myles saw both the Jedi and the Sith as crazies. They dedicated their lives to something for their entire lives, and to what end? Power? Knowledge? You could gain all those things without the force.

As he continued on down, he saw that no matter what twist or turn he would take, they all led to the same path. Strange... It was almost as if the cave had not been as natural as it seemed, almost like a road going straight into the planet. Regardless, it definitely led somewhere, and he felt a strange calling to it, almost as if whatever he was looking for wanted to be discovered.

Every then and again he'd find yet another trace of someone having been here in the past. Perhaps someone had already been here and emptied this place of all value? No, it was much too ancient for that. Way too old, he thought. It must have been whoever made these tunnels.

Something stopped Myles in his tracks. It was thudding, the thudding of footsteps echoing through the tunnels.

"You two, get to work on lighting this place up. The rest of you, fan out. He couldn't have gone far!" echoed a static voice. People were here, looking for him. But who?

Lifting her hands to the cowl of her robe, Avedia lowered the hood over my head and then withdrew her Saberstaff. Activating one of the two twin-blades, she held the crimson light above her head, illuminating the insides of the temple that she and Malok had just entered. "I sense your ambition, Malok. You have some understanding of the dark side. I think you and I will closely associated over the next few years."

Leading the behemoth down the passageway where she was told that the library had been discovered, Avedia created more conversation. "I also sense that you took this job, not only for the money that I am paying you and your men, but because you wish to learn more about the dark side. Your thoughts can betray you, Malok. But you might just learn how to conceal your thoughts from me overtime."

Stopping before the mouth of the library, Avedia knelt down whilst keeping the red light that hung above her just close enough to see the floor, without it threatening her exposed neck or head. "The Force was used here recently. I can feel it. We should be cautious going further. I sense imminent danger around us."

Rising back up, Avedia stepped over the threshold and into the library. She held her Saberstaff ahead of her defensively, keeping her senses attuned to the dangers that surrounded her.

Nemis took caution as he found his way back to the doorway to the library. It was there that he began to hear it: Distant; low in frequency; the unmistakable hum of a lightsaber blade. He was closer to the woman and her protectors than he had thought. He reached to check for his own saber, finding it to be there exactly in the same place he had left it beneath his cloak. Instead of drawing it, he reached into a different pocket and procured from within it a small, round, metal object.

"YB," he whispered to it. YB-1F uncoiled itself from its spherical resting state into its true, insectoid form. It chirped inquisitively. "I need you to take a look around. I need you to tell me how many there are, and where they are." Normally, he'd try to sense them, but the power of the dark side emanating from the temple was too strong to see through. He needed an actual visual. The droid crawled off Nemis' hand and into the temple.

The footsteps grew closer and closer as Myles began to run out of options. He couldn't exactly try to run... That'd just end in him being cornered. If he tried to fight back, they would surely find a way to outflank and overwhelm him, especially with all the twists and turns the tunnel had to offer. He could try and pick them off, seeing as they'd likely split up once they discovered the different turns, but he would need a good vantage point.

"Sir- We've picked up a starfighter at the target location. There was also a cave... We're sear- *BOOM*" rumbling and rocks falling to the ground would interrupt the recon scout, followed by footsteps.

"What the-!?" the soldier was once again interrupted by sudden blaster fire, ending with the transmission cutting off.

*STATIC...*

*STATIC...*

Seconds before...

The footsteps slowly approached as Myles crept behind a rock. Besides the walking, the cave was dead silent. He quietly watched, anxious and scared as a shadow crept up through the tunnels. It was followed by a static noise, a voice. They were giving orders to someone... or perhaps taking them. As their foot became visible, Myles instantly set off a detonator, creating a loud explosion which resulted in the tunnel ahead of him caving in on the unfortunate soul. Panic ensued, and Myles would have to act quick before the cave collapsed on him as well. He rushed over to the pile of rocks sitting atop the dead scout and poked his gun through an opening. The barrel of his DLT-20A unleashed hell on the other two men behind the rocks. He emptied his entire mag of 30 blaster bolts onto them.

Waiting a moment, he quickly withdrew and darted out of the scene. Behind him, a large chunk of Tund collapsed to the ground. It eventually seemed like he wouldn't be crushed to death, but he was now blocked out of an exit. He now only had one path: forward. He would have to hurry as well, since there were sure to be more men still tracking him down. Their only obstacle was the caved in rock, but crafty people had certain ways of getting around things. Hopefully they weren't crafty.

After what was starting to seem like an eternity of walking, Myles came about a large open area. It was dimly lit, a narrow bridge of stone led across a deep, deep chasm which emanated a blue color along the walls. The reflection of rippling water made the whole scene a beautiful sight, but one small slip-up could lead to certain death. Myles carefully crossed the narrow walkway, stone crumbling beneath his feet. Just as he reached the other side, the walkway crumbled behind him, creating a splash after a very long way down. The gap seemed vault-able, but it'd be quite difficult to scale.

Myles took a few steps forward. Before him, stood two incredibly large statues. However, they were too worn down to have been recognizable. Beneath them, sat two unlit braziers. He guessed that between them was supposed to be a doorway, but all he saw was more... well, rock. He approached it, banging the butt of his rifle against the wall. It echoed through the area. The giant wall of stone was hollow. The wall would be practically impossible for him to blow open with whatever little gear he had on him. I have a slightly bad feeling about this, he thought.

The rumbling of an explosion would reach those deep enough by the excavation site to notice. Moments later, it would be followed by a tapping that echoed throughout the library...

Deception was not a feature of the Behemoth...at least, not yet.

He had nothing to hide, for he truly believed that he had nothing to fear. This belief, coupled with his ignorance in the Force, made his mind an open book to those of his employer's stature. She could feel his ambition, his Hunger...even his truest thoughts with minimal effort. In truth, Malok did not know that the bastion of his person had such a grievous opening. However, hearing it from the woman before him sent a chill down his spine. This was a chink in his armor - a vulnerability.

It could not stand.

"You speak true." he began, "The Darkness tugs at my soul. It demanded that I come here and stand beside you here. I want to understand - to grow."

He paused. The Force was used here recently? His grip tightened upon his hammer, Grond, which roused the weapon. Its repulsor and shockwave generator rods worked in tandem to produce a vicious, crimson glow about the head. This was his light in the depths of the Library, guiding him over the broken stones.

"How exactly do I conceal my thoughts? Can you show me?"

Before he could anticipate a response, the comm in his ear buzzed.

"Sir, White Squad is down. Heard an explosion, anything happening on your end?"

Malok grit his teeth.

Tapping.

"Nothing out of the ordinary here, just rocks...Send three squads. Two to White's last location...the last, find that ship that landed. Whoever this is, they aren't leaving the same way they came in."

"Aye sir."

Avedia listened to the behemoth. Rising back up to her full height, she looked at him for a moment before circling around to admire the dusty, ancient tomes that littered the library. Judging by the state of the place this room had not seen the light of day for years. She was no expert in telling how old this place, and when the last time anyone was in here. The team that she had gathered that waited back at the dig campsite would probably be able to tell her. But she didn't intend for any of them to enter the library.

"I can show you," Avedia begun with, placing a hand onto a book and pulling out of the shelf. Dusting the volume with her hands, Avedia saw a title spelled in a dialect that she could not read. "But I will need you to show me how much of the dark side you already understand. If the dark side has truly invited you then there is a demonstration that you can go through with, so as to prove yourself. It is a form of self ointment that all those who come to study and learn the ways of the dark side do."

"But I wonder if you understand what it is you are asking for." Avedia returned the book back where she found it and turned back to Malok. "You are asking for a lonely life. The dark side only serves the individual. It is a weapon, whose use only belongs to you. You will only ever covet power and only seek to improve yourself. There is no room for anyone or anything else. There is only ever room for yourself. You will have to let go of your seminal life. Detach yourself from everything you've ever known. Only then can you truly begin to understand and learn the ways of the dark side of the Force."

Wrinkling her nose at the report that circled in through Malok's radio, Avedia asked: "Is there a problem?"

"Ok, YB, how many do you see?" Nemis asked. The droid chirped back over the comm, something about not having a good view or something like that. Nemis wasn't fluent in whatever you might call the 'language' of the droids. YB kept talking, something that resembled counting out loud. When the droid had finished the number seemed far too low to Nemis. He was sure that more ApeX troops had accompanied his employer, but YB kept saying that it didn't see any more.

It was then that Nemis heard the explosion. It was distant, and not too large, but he was able to hear a feint rumbling. "YB, what was that?" The droid began scanning, trying to find the source, but said it was most likely too far to determine. The droid had, however, picked up an interesting comm frequency.

"-is down. Heard an explosion, anything happening on your end?"

@Malok@Myles Vylumnar[member="Avedia Lacroix"]

Pacing back and forth, Myles began to grow frustrated. His fears of being buried alive began to seem not-so-distant. He could not stand to be the perpetrator of his own demise, and so the anger in him began to swell.

"Grr... Dammit!" he grumbled. In his rage, he pushed over one of the braziers in front of the statues, sending a clattering and clanging sound echoing throughout the place. He sighed, regaining himself. For a while, he searched around for any button, lever, or other means of opening the passage. Nothing. Perhaps it was so ancient that it required another means of opening it. Perhaps it was nothing physical or existent, but something invisible... Surrounding us, penetrating us.

Nevertheless, it was something that Myles couldn't utilize to open the massive entrance. It occurred to him that maybe someone of a greater power would have to open it, but to him, he thought he was all alone down there. He thought he was a dead man.

"Sir, the starship we've recovered seems to be a Series IV E-wing starfighter... It also seems to be lacking identification codes... We assume it belongs to some rogue, the scoundrel type it would seem."

"We've regrouped with the remainder of White Squad, sir. The passage seems to have been blocked off. They said that they heard an explosion followed by blaster fire. By the time they got there, more than half the squad was gunned down. There was no sign of anyone else, sir."

[member="Darth Nemis The Undying"] | [member="Avedia Lacroix"] | [member="Malok"]

The Behemoth kept his hands to himself.

It was tempting to reach out and sample the literature all around him. The dusty, grime-ridden tomes were not beautiful to look at by any stretch - but the promises within were enticing. As Malok stood there, surrounded by ancient knowledge...his mind began to listen. What he "heard" was faint. Gentle, even. Whispers which graced him ever so slightly. The spoke of wisdom...of might...of godhood. All he had to do was reach out an gr-The voice of his employer broke the "spell" which had begun to creep forward. Malok gently shook his head, as if to remove dust from his mane, before holding onto her every word.

"I will take your test, then." he began.

There was no hesitation in his response. Why? Because there was no "life" to cling to - there was nothing that Malok could detach himself from. All that he once knew and loved had already been ripped away by his sibling. All that he had ever known. His home. His Life. It was for this reason that, despite being surrounded by subordinates and comrades, Malok had never let anyone "close." He had brothers in arms, but no friends. He had men who would die beside him, but no kindred spirits. "All that I ever knew and loved has already been taken. There is no one else but myself. So show me...Help me understand the Dark Side."

Ah, but then business reared its head.

"Nothing that would jeopardize our goal here. I've a report of an explosion on the opposing side of our dig, a good distance from where we are. I've sent teams to investigate, but what they've discovered as a caved in passage."

He then tapped the comm in his ear.

"Ground that ship. Whomever is responsible will try to come back, I'm certain of it. Stay on it. As for the others, stay posted at the passage until further instructed."

The E-Wing would soon find itself at the mercy of ape-men wielding power hammers. Suffice it to say, it wouldn't be flying anywhere anytime soon.

Avedia laughed, drinking in the power of the dark side. She was pleased that Malok had the understanding to embrace her challenge, rather than shy away from it. There were times for caution, patience and thought, but then there was moments such as these where power was only a moment away from being seized, if only you had the strength, audacity and risk to seize it for yourself. I sense no fear in him. Whether to inspire fear of me into him or not remains to be seen. I sense much potential in this one, but does he possess enough to one day surpass me?

"The people that I hired, the ones that discovered this room. They have proven useful to me, and to you, by excavating this area. But to by finding such a place they will be enticed into writing journals, and producing their scientific work for others to study. That is how they operate. If such information was to be published, then it would incur the ire of the Jedi, and other organizations that may try to take, or destroy this discovery."

Attempting to guide Malok through the murky, convoluted logic of the dark side, Avedia selected another tome off a shelf and dusted it to reveal another title in the same, unknown language as the book from before. She continued to speak as she admired the text, her calculative mind trying to work out a way in order to decipher the language so she could read and study it's contents. "Unlike your men, who work for you in your group, these individuals hold no such loyalty to use. We could attempt to bribe them, or pay them enough money to stay quiet, so that their services may be retained later on if we need them. But I sense that there are a few in that group that would still rather publish their articles in the pursuit of knowledge rather than accepting credits. We could kill these various individuals, but what if the others, who discover that their associates have died, turn to the Jedi out of fear or out of revenge for the fallen?"

"If we consider all the variables before us, then we can come to the conclusion that leaving these people alive would be a mistake. Their murder than becomes necessary, if we are to protect what we have discovered here." Smiling at Malok for a moment, Avedia said: "You must think of me a psychopath for so callously deciding that these people who helped me find this place must die, but the ways of the dark side are often hard to comprehend, even for me. What this comes down to is what is necessary to protect ones secrets. The varying archeologists, scientists and laborers that have worked here for the better part of a month are useful to me, and you, and if they could be intimidated, bribed or any other way so that they could remain alive, then we should take it, before with so many people to consider, and all the different variables..."

Trailing off, Avedia looked down at the book, quiet once more, leaving Malok to work through the logic that had been presented to him.

Hacking the ApeX commander's comm had proven a useful asset to Nemis. With it, he had pieced together that a rogue-type had made their way into the temple and taken out a few ApeX soldiers. 'No small task,' Nemis thought. 'Seems like this one knows what they're doing.'

It was after hearing that the passage was blocked that Nemis formed his idea. "YB, I need you to find that Rogue. I want to talk to them." The droid scanned the area in search of the passage and then scittered off to find a way in. After finding a suitable crack into the passage, YB-1F reported back its findings: a man, staring at a hollow wall of rock with a look of desperation. 'Perfect,' Nemis thought.

"YB, put me on speaker." The droid did so and then crawled towards the rogue. Nemis spoke clearly to him over the comm: "You seem to be in a pinch. Need an assist?"

[member="Myles Vylumnar"] [member="Avedia Lacroix"] [member="Malok"]

"You seem to be in a pinch. Need an assist?" called a static voice.

Suddenly, Myles pivoted around and brought his rifle up to aim in a split second. His finger itched at the trigger, he would have pulled it had he not realized no one was really there behind him. He kept his guard up, aiming around him to find whoever had just spoken. Eventually, he would inch backward to keep his back pressed against the wall, just to make sure no one would come up behind him. The voice sounded static, as if whoever it was wore a helmet, or perhaps they were speaking through other means. His history as a con-man led him to be suspicious and even more guarded.

"...No... No no no, that's the oldest trick in the book, pal. I'm not falling for that. Just come out from wherever you're hiding, then we'll talk." he said. Myles wasn't aware of the small bug-droid that was watching him from a short distance. He had assumed someone managed to sneak up on him, and was ready to get the drop on him at any moment.

To [member="Darth Nemis The Undying"], the man had appeared surprisingly young. Almost like a teenager... He seemed to be someone who handled themselves quite well, independent and quick about his wits. This would be obvious by the way he reacted to being surprised by a voice. The guy was cautious, but overall didn't really seem as dangerous as his actions would prove him to be. His voice was that of a young man, but his face was mostly covered by the sights of his rifle.
