Dreams of Dathomir

An ancient ode came to mind as the mists filled the moors blanketing across the endless fields hiding beneath the silvery gray coating. The winds had all but ceased to bring relief from the heat, a burning heat was building within the folds and layers of Dathomir. She who bore the weight of the essence of the light and dark of Dathomir was reaching out with shadowy fingers to touch the daughters who tended her day and night.

The sisters of the light, and the sisters of the darkness each had their place within the history and future of Dathomir. Then as if a deep breath had been taken and released the mists moved a lone figured moved between the shadows of gray, the light gossimer dress she wore floated adding to the illusion of movement among the misty layers.

She walks in beauty like the night
of cloudless climes and starry skies
and all that's best of dark and bright
Meets in her aspect and her eyes
Thus mellow'd to that tender light
which heaven to gaudy day denies

Alexis whispered enchantments as she moved calling upon the spirits around her as the words of the bard of long ago filled her mind with dreams

One shade the more, one ray less
Had half impaird the nameless grace
Which waves in every raven tress
Or softly lightens o'er her face
Where thoughts extremely sweet express
how pure, how dear their dwelling place

Alexis' mind turned to home to Dagro where the moment a word was spoken the land responded giving birth to new spring greenery, and laid to rest the old withered and worn. Fields of ashy brown for miles waited for the single kiss of light, magic and water. She smiled as she remembered.

And the words of the bard returned once more

And on the cheek and o'er that brow
so soft, so calm, yet eloquent
The smiles that win, the tints that glow
But tell of days in goodness spent
A mind at peace with all below
A heart whose love is innocent

The final words spoken Alexis thanked Lord Byron for the eloquent words of a begone age that were yet ageless to any who had a heart and spirit to hear the meaning, and the sounds.

She felt as though she had just awakened from a long sleep and everything around her was new. Was bidding her to come, join, and once again know the joys of being one again. Alexis could hear the sounds of merriment and invitation as she neared this little town it was only then she realized she was not home on Dagro, or on Dathomir she was biding her time on the planet of she took a pause where was she again, what planet, and why did it suddenly seem she could not remember.

ohhhh..she stood outside questioning whether to enter, or not to enter...that is the question.

Enter was the prompt. Once inside her eyes tried to adjust to the different lighting even in here there were sounds and sights she felt she should know and yet it was as elusive as smoke disappearing through her fingertips.

She smiled uncomfortable with this new feeling, sensation she looked to find a seat that would hide her from view, from prying eyes. The seat was not in the dark though she felt as though that is where she should be. But what was this feeling of emptiness, feeling of something incomplete that hung over her. She looked around again, there were no familiar faces.

Where had the time gone..her brow furrowed. The waitress stood there wondering if she was ever going to order, Alexis again smiled uncomfortably, "um a bowl of something hot, soup perhaps, and bread, large water" She was not hungry but she would eat, she needed time to think, to....try and retrace.

The bowl arrived with a hunk of bread and water that had a tint to it that reeked of a warning. Staring down into the bowl the red juices swirling around a few vegetables. She could smell the spices in it as they slowly rose up from the bowl tickling her noses, she without a thought licked her lips and began to eat. The flavor of peppers filled her mouth, accented by tomatoes. She could already feel her eyes welling up with tears from the spices, a quick bit of bread helped to cool the water however only spread the flavor through her mouth giving her more pain and coughing as she fought to keep herself upright.

Other patrons looked her way and smiled yea they knew that look too well.

The warmth of food, and the cool of water helped Alexis to think and try to remember what had happened. She remembered speaking to a pilot about getting a passage home to Dathomir, she remembered negotiating a price, she remembered nothing after that. She knew now she had to see if the pilot was still around.

She tried to finish the meal without a rush thinking ahead of the questions she wanted to ask, but only if she could find the pilot only if there were more to this more..what was it. Then she felt something stabbing her, ow she thought she pushed up her sleeve on her fore arm was a bruise it was already turning yellow so it had been there for sometime, but she didn't remember getting it.

She looked then at her fingers the nails were well manicured but the color was all wrong, it was a dark pink she remembered she had on a light pink to help make her fingers look longer. The headache was getting worse. She pushed the food away something was wrong.

Once she had paid for her meal and made it back outside Alexis walked towards the space port she would know the pilot when she saw him she looked around. She approached a group and began speaking with them describing the pilot a few men seemed to think they knew him but the others said they had never seen anyone like that. Alexis was more confused than ever, "Lots of pilots come through her miss"

Alexis nodded, "yes...of course.." Her brow furrowed deep ridges as she thought about that day.

Would she ever get that time back she did not know.

Words then drifted on the wind

She walks in beauty like the night
She had heard these words before, it reminded her of a memory so intoxicating she thought she would falter as she walked. What had happened what dangerous creature had she encountered that she could not remember it all.

His voice was soft and inviting, the words hinted of emotions long waited to act upon, and then the longing within her own heart ached.

The constant problems that everyone faces can be the most annoying but most helpful. Today, or whatever was happening, Oka had hit something in an orbit of a planet and damaged his engines. That isn't good, right? However, the most annoying can be the most helpful like I said. This wasn't expected and surely wasn't done on purpose but it did happen. What does this mean?

As he came I to the atmosphere, the surroundings wasn't describable at the moment. Plus, he was heading towards an outer part of a small town. A spaceport was nearby and due to that, he hit the top of a building and crashed badly although the ship survived. It was only a starfighter anyways. He didnt know why he'd been sent here, no not literally but you know what I mean. Anyone nearby would see sparks and debris coming off of the ship. Some might of crowded around Oka, who knows.

Alexis looked to the sky seeking an answer to the question that was troubling her. Her caramel colored eyes tracked a ship coming in the longer she watched the more concerned she became her mouth opened but no sound came out when the ship hit the building.

She curious about the crash and the pilot was the pilot drunk? Lost? sick? So many things she ran till she could see it, wide eyed she moved cautiously was there someone there or had they limped away. The debrie was scattered small flames danced on the dry patches of grass.

She moved to her left and then to her right looking waiting to see would someone come out?

Surprisingly, nothing of his upper body was damaged. Unfortunately, his right leg had glass in it. He was glad he left his astromech on Naboo with his sister because he didn't know where he was. He attempted to crawl out but debris was in the way. The frame survived at least. Probably why he is still alive. Without anymore thoughts, he used a force push and pushed the debris out a bit just enough for him to get out.

Pushing it out farther could've injured someone else or damaged property although this time called for it. He still had respect though. Crawling out slowly feeling the glass go deeper, Oka saw many people, but only one seemed out of place. Or maybe the other people were out of place, or maybe he was just seeing stuff wrong. He lay there to regain strength.

Alexis for some reason laughed but still she was moving towards the crawling body, "so" she said very glibly "need help?" she moved closer watching him he was still breathing and then she stopped

She walks in beauty like the night
She caught her breath did he say that, or was it something that her mind was telling whichever it was she felt her heart jump, what was she supposed to do now. Move, run...nothing? She stared at where the he was now laying sitting, was he the one that had put these endless words into her mind.

What had triggered it, god it was infuriating not to have answers.

Sitting up, he ached in pain but stopped after seeing a woman. Hearing her offer, he took it. "Uh.. yea. Sure, thanks." Oka said looking at his belt making sure his sabers were there. This woman.. she seemed different from everyone else in the area. And what was weirder was he crashed on this planet. Maybe it don't add up and maybe its not supposed to but he needed to find out.

[member="Alexis Ravensclaw"]

Alexis came over then kneeled down, "Where are you hurt?" she didn't know much about first aid but she figured she knew enough to stop bleeding. She could see some confusion on his face, maybe he was in shock. "Perhaps we need to sit here for a bit till you can get your bearings" So what was bothering him, and why did he crash.

"Any idea why you crashed?" She was curious and why did she feel like she was having a moment of deja vu.

She looked at this man again, she didn't know his face but then she didn't know any of the faces around here, and there was that creepy whisper that happened every once in a while. It was almost like she was hypnotized and that was the secret phrase.

Else where on Dathomir...

Lightning cackled overhead, to the sounds of wind gusting throughout the tree tops. It was going to rain. The hooded man took a moment to lift his gaze to the grey skyline. He had always taken comfort in the rain. Lowering his gaze back down, he began pilgrimage down the pathway and deeper into the forest. His purpose for being here was simple. He was preparing for the upcoming scheme. For far too long, Vilox Pazela had lain dormant, in the dark, waiting for the right moment. He had successfully manipulated the Galactic Republic into freeing him from his crimes as a Sith Lord. He had spent time among the Jedi, learning about them in the modern day and subsequently disappeared when the time was right. To the One Sith, he had been a would be challenger to their Dark Lord of the Sith and had paid the price for his would be usurpation, to the hands of Darth Orcus and the inner circle that both served and protected their Lord and his grand vision for the galaxy.

Thus, freed from the shackles of his former life as Darth Vazela; cleared in the name of the Jedi Order and Galactic Republic; and made an ugly memory of the One Sith, now forgotten, the Dark Master was on the move and he had come to Dathomir to begin anew. He's scheme involved the Red Ravens, a new syndicate of criminals that sought to usurp the Black Sun Syndicate; and he had not forgot the Dark Jedi Domino and the book she possessed. As things began to move in one direction, he would take the time to enter the realm of the science and it would happen in the dark jungles of Dathomir, on the verge of a storm.

And so deeper he went, in search of what he was looking for...

She seemed concerned. Probably was just acting like she cared and secretyly planned to eat him after he healed. Nah, he was just taking the situation wrong. "My leg, glass is in it. Pretty big by just what I can feel." he said trying to get up. His bright idea was to use the ship's frame to help him stand up but it was hot apparently.

After trying to get up a few times, he figured it was only hurting him even more. Every time hhe'd try and get up, his hand would get burnt and blood would rush out. "I'm fine. I am very aware of what happened actually. I was coming into this planet's orbit when something damaged my engines severely. Must've got a wing too." he explained to her sighing. Not the most helpful today is it....

Rain battered the floor, soaking mud and creating puddles. The Dark Master continued his pilgrimage among the mud and leaves, making his way forwards into the forest. His Lightsaber was a comfortable weight on his hip as he made his way through. The dark side was with him and it flooded his body, allowing him to detect even the minuscules of movement and imminent danger. He felt quite safe.

The purpose of Vilox Pazela presence in the Dathomir wilds was the science. The ability to create life out of nothing; or to give life to something that was inanimate and lifeless before hand. Sith Alchemy knew no bounds. The purpose of his science, on this pilgrimage through Dathomir, was to study an ancient artifact. It was once used by the Nightsisters of Dathomir as a weapon to destroy Coruscant. It was subsequently destroyed by the Jedi Order. Only ruins were left behind.

He had come to visit the Infinity Gate ruins.

Thunder would roll. Lightning would strike. Most would figure that these were just mere ruins, all that is left of the remnants of centuries past.
But there still stirred life.
These lands were not left unprotected. Undisturbed.
The Guardians yet remained, giant Wuffa worms that would lay watching. Waiting.
And among those were scouts from Singing Mountain Clan. Tall ferocious warriors who claimed these lands for themselves. Always watching. Waiting. Protecting what remains to ensure that none would disturb that which is held in regard by the Winged Goddess and the Fanged God.
Rain would pelt from the ether, and magic would stir, dark storm clouds streaking across the sky.
And there, deep among the ruins, bright gold eyes would lay in wait.
Waste ho win.
The Storm Woman would watch.

Dathomir was home away from home for the old mandalorian warrior. He enjoyed visiting the planet on his downtime, testing his skills against the planet's elements while keeping his edge sharp and his skills honed. He made it to such a ripe age by continuously training and pushing himself to his limits. For this outing the Mandalorian ventured into the dense jungles for a week of hunting and survival. All he was armed with was his compound bow and his combat knife. He wore black combat boots, black military trousers and matching t shirt. He also had a hiking pack that held some essential gear for his outing.

He had been a few days into his hunt when a distressed spacecraft zipped over head crashing nearby and ruining his shot on a Bolma. Annoyed Strider dismounted from his makeshift tree stand and rushed through the majestic forest towards the crash site. Didn't take him long to get to his destination but it was quickly noticed that he wasn't the first to respond.

From where he stood, crouched behind foliage he could see a Dathomirian witch working on the suspected pilot. Strider had a soft spot for Dathomirian witches, they were talented, dangerous warrior like beauties. Such an exotic creature that was uncomparable to any others in the galaxy. And then there was the theory that Strider had came up with all by his lonesome. There must have been something placed in the water for majority of the pretty women folk of this planet, their breasts were deliciously and irresistibly jumbo sized.

"Thank what ever gods that were responsible" Strider whispered to himself as he placed his binoculars away and calmly walked out into the open, making himself known. His bow was slung behind his back making the mandalorian weaponless. "Need any assistance?" He would interrupt with his gruff toned voice.

Oka wondered what they used to make glass out of these days. The shard in his leg seemed so thick and deep. It was something he could walk on but loose some blood too. Once he was actually able to stand up properly, he scanned his body some more. Parts of his robe but ripped or torn while his cloak was ripped off.

A man appeared from outside of the crowd. He offered help too just like the woman. He stemmed normal as well unlike the people in the area. But it could just be his mind playing tricks with him. Pointing to the glass in his leg he said, "Yeah, I could use some help. Not sure if glass is healthy to be in your skin." he joked even while injured.

Alexis must have been in shock for she could only watch what unfolded around her surreal she thought. Shaking her head, "No glass is not good for the skin" She looked up at the mandalorian, "Do you have a knife?" She asked quite sweetly. "I think we can just remove the glass with it, course it would have to be cleansed."

Alexis knew about heat to kill germs, she looked at Oka, "Do you know where we are?" She smiled she hoped they would know.

So it needed cut out? That was something he wasn't a fan of. When she asked where they were, he gave a confused look. "No actually. I just crashed and am as clueless as you are."

The Dark Master came to a stop at the structure up ahead, arms held at his side and the cowl of his robe lifted, to hide his facial features from the rain that battered the ruins, trees and mud beneath and around him. His presence in the Force was concealed, for he did not want to be disturbed; and yet, unknowingly to Vilox Pazela, he had disturbed something or someone. Unaware of TiCira, Vilox continued his journey up towards the ancient device that was called the Infinity Gate.

His purpose was to research the device. He knew that the Nightsisters of Dathomir had once used the ancient device as a weapon against the Jedi once. It was the Infinity Wave that the gate created, once activated, that took he took interest in. Perhaps it was possible to recreate the same scenarios that ultimately created an infinity wave? What effects does the infinity wave? It was doubtful that he would be able to create an infinity wave at this stage of research. After all, the Infinity Gate on Dathomir was a broken relic and the race that knew how to create or repair the device were long gone...

And so the Dark Master, with his instruments in tow, went about the process of learning more about the Infinity Gate, with his onlooker looking on...

Moccasins would sink into wet earth. Overhead the thunder would roll, lightning dancing throughout the skies. But within and around the Star Temple grounds, the very ground would tremble. Oh, it was not an echo of the thunder.

No this was something far more primal. Giant Wuffa worms.

That individual who would dare to cross into these sacred lands was about to face the wrath of these guardians. He would not take a single step into the sacred ruins, for like one who would recognize a stranger within their midst, so did these giant wuffa worms take note of an intruder.

A mere ten feet away would see the birth of one such as this, as earth and clay would part in a burst of debris. The massive snake like worm would arch on high, rain pelting its tough skin as lightning flashed.

150px-Giant_Wuffa.jpg
Large savage teeth would bare, and then a mighty screech of warning would blast in a sonic wave at the intruders direction.

All the while, golden eyes would watch.
