Dethronement [ Sith Empire Dominion of Serenno ]

Lp5vVjM.png
Serenno - Ancient Ruins of Zannia
Only a handful of months had passed since the invasion of Serenno at the hands of the Remnant Empire, during this invasion many Dukes had sworn their allegiance to the Sith. Some in hopes of more power, others seeking for stability they felt they had lacked under the aegis of the Dominion, the reasons differed but the result had been the same:

Sith rule on Serenno.

But the collapse of the Remnant Empire threw the status quo of Serenno in a state of flux. The Great Houses immediately went back to their scheming, some wishing for complete independence, some wished to once again declare their allegiance to the Dominion, whereas some Sith sympathizer looked to the newly rising Sith Empire close to their borders.

In the end as the Sith Empire approached three Great Houses and many of their ally Dukes rose up.

They had no interest in becoming the puppets of the Sith. During this time of conflict a green-skinned lady appeared at their court, offering advice and telling them the tale of the ancient city of Zannia. Ruins now, hidden deep underground, but rumor had it that mighty artifacts were hidden deep within.

Artifacts that could turn the tide, reassert their dominance across Serenno and rebuff the Sith.

With the support of these rogue Dukes the green-skinned one and her allies entered the ruins. Six of the Tsawak'tyûk, were rumored to reside there.

"We should be cautious, the artifacts have been here for centuries," A lie. They have only been here for about a month now, but lip-service to the handful of sworn-men accompanying them by request of the Dukes was quite important now. "They could have twisted anything that lives here, corrupting them with their power."

Cerbera looked back to the group of people accompanying here.

"The Sith Empire is covertly propping up the traitors and their King, but with these artifacts? The true Dukes of Serenno can regain control."

A torch was fired up, allowing light where once only shadow touched. Soon enough they left the strange blue crystals of the entrance behind. Instead tight cavernous corridors descending deeper down into the ground, where the sun hadn't been seen in many centuries.

The planet of Serenno had seen a great deal of chaos in recent times.

Mere months had passed since the Resurgent Empire had flown to the planet in their masses to wrest it from the Dominion's hands and sent its people into panic as they did. But as hard as it surely was to believe, not everyone was overjoyed when the Dominion lost and Serenno went under Sith rule. Some had been left cowering in fear. Some had resigned themselves to fuming quietly at the circumstances.

And some had tried to cause trouble.

Those who couldn't be convinced to let up their attempts at an uprising had been thrown into the Spike. The underground prison facility was designed to contain Jedi, but it held the rebellious few very well indeed, both those who could and couldn't touch the Force. Revolutions had been notably lacking from there.

Since then the Resurgent Empire had collapsed, but the prison remained full of anti-Sith.

As far as Aria was concerned, that spoke of promise.

Once upon a time she would've been fiercely against living on a planet held by Sith - once upon a time she could've been one of the rebels that sat now behind bars for their treason. But she'd been afforded the opportunity to change her mind.

As of recently, affording people a second chance was her job. Aside from the sentiment behind the idea of converting rebels that her own conversion had left, Aria was a Valkyrie of the Sith Empire. Her task was to determine which of their enemies held the potential to be useful to the Sith and attempt to give them that opportunity.

And if they refused to see the metaphorical light, to strike them down.

She'd landed comfortably on the Aparian Wastes, and the edge of the desert where the Spike lay was only a short walk from her starship. Lightsaber at her hip and clad in armor, the Echani made her way to the prison.

She was here when the resurgent sith empire, retook the world from the Dominion. She saw that empire collapse, but then a known powerful sith placed is banner with another Sith Empire. She knew he was powerful, from her time with the One Sith, he is [member="Darth Carnifex"]. She had brought her own forces under his and pledged loyalty, whilst he was strong enough to deserve it. The rest of Serenno however was not so obliging to him. The nobility of Serenno had rejected an agreement to come under their control, this presented her problems, as she was known to back the new sith emperor. She was under surveillance in her own home, they knew as did she empires expand. Sith offers came backed by force if rejected, she was not privy to plans of empire to how they planned to take the world, but she knew they did. She had sent [member="Flora Burn"]s just out of system with her fleet, so if the empire fleet came, hers was not destroyed. Then she had orders to assist the empire as they came in, to take control of the planet skies. Her droid army was currently, keeping a low key until it was time. She just hopped their was something of serenno to save after this show of diviance. She was secretly planning to be in a position to help rebuild, as the governor of the planet. Though this would be up to the Emperor of course, she just had to prove she is loyal to him. She waited in her office for news, she couldn't send or receive messages, as the current leaders of serenno whilst idiots for refusing his offer, they where not complete fools and would be decrypting her messages.

So she sat in her office waiting for events to start happening, then help where she could. No doubt she was on the nobility hit list, when things happened.

Under the guise of the Nyâshnitwa, Darth Ophidia appeared a very different person. Her ashen skin was a deep tan, wrinkled from a lifetime of smiles, scowls, and hours in the sun. Her hair, the having of which was already unusual, was long and white. Her eyes were still yellow, but they were more like a deep honey hue than their usual embers of hate.

She looked quite the figure, clad in her ragged browns, blues and blacks. A long-range precision blaster rifle was slung over her shoulder and various mundane weapons scattered about her simple armour. Her right eye was covered in what appeared like a patch, but contained an advanced combat aid, paired with her long-range blaster. Meanwhile, Ophidia’s real weapons were tucked safely away under the large over-coat, clipped to the Tsariquira, suppressing their presence.

Befitting for a ranged combatant, Ophidia – Under the pseudonym Eharl Teinte – lingered at the end of the group. She looked at the glowing entrance as they passed it, narrowing her eyes in suspicion. This was a creepy cave, and the war was tense – The group reflected this state. There was a certain desperation in their eyes, like animals trapped and then given hope.

Hope was the cruellest of emotions.

She unslung the rifle from her shoulder and held it ready, but safe. Dangers, the green-skinned woman spoke about. Of course, there would be dangers in a place such as this. It felt unnatural, wrong some would say. Perhaps that was just what the Dukes of Serenno needed to combat the fire-eyed persecutors of the galaxy.

Eharl looked at her nearest companion and spoke. Her voice carried a spacer accent from the Tingel Arm. Not something most would notice, but some.

Watch your step, that’s how they’ll catch ya. Like the Taozins under Coruscant. They web people up in the dark, you see, and then drink ‘im dry.

Eharl smiled a sly smile and proceeded with careful steps, eyes gliding over the darkened shapes of the interior and digits shifting grip on the long gun in her grasp.

Serreno was and in part still is a prime example of why Jacob had stayed away from the few rising Sith factions that had arose. He had kept to himself, to his work on Maena and watched as groups like the Resurgent Empire rose up for a time. They had swooped in taking the planet from the Dominion and laying down their rule until they eventually simmered away leaving Serreno's government in chaos.

Some celebrated, glad to be free of Sith rule. Others were more concerned for their own well-being or that of the people in general. For the Sith Empire, an opportunity arose in the form of three different Great Houses that desired to go against the current government - the ones trying to pick up the pieces the Resurgent Empire left with their collapse.

There was no doubt the Dukes allied with them were just as equally looking for their own piece, but that was precisely the weakness they were exploiting.

Jacob was ahead of the group only by a bit, dressed as an explorer of sorts, although in darker colours and with more armouring on the arms and legs. He was under the guise of someone fascinated with the ruins, something that was quite real but intentionally used to bolster the lie that was being weaved.

Prior to this he had caught word of something being planned for Serenno, and the fact Cerbera was spearheaded it made even more intriguing. Albeit being part of the Saaraishash meant he was made aware of the Empire's deployments, but something about this one had pulled on his desire to take part himself.

He stopped a moment, crouching down and brushing his left hand across the ground. As his fingers slid across stone, he stretched out his senses until something pulse back. He winced as he felt his mind slam against self-imposed barriers, hungry to know and learn. What he had sensed was muddled, tension coiled throughout the darkness that lingered further in. While he was here to do his part for the Sith Empire, this was also a test for himself - to see how he could manage in such an environment.

After all, what was the point in doing such with only half measures?

Jacob picked himself back to his full height, brushing down the dust that had clutched to his leg. He waited until the group had caught up the short distance and matched their stride as they carried on.

Darth Osano

D
Location: Serenno | The Spike
Objective: Prisoner Procurement

As far as prisons went, The Spike was both effective and dramatic. It was essentially a giant tube plunging straight into the ground. The lower levels consisted of prison cells, the upper levels consisted of guard barracks, armories, that kind of thing. It made prison riots easier to contain should they ever arise. Unless power was lost, of course. Then everything would go to hell. Fortunately now that the Resurgent Empire had liberated the world with their dying breath from the crumbling Dominion, a prison break of that scale and coordination seemed less and less likely. And now that the High Inquisitor of the Eye and a handful of his loyal Justiciars were on-site to inspect a possible takeover...

The Spike's warden led Osano and his Justiciars down one of the catwalks. Every so often, the High Inquisitor glanced over the side, marveling at the depths. A fall from here would probably kill him no matter how he tried to land. Maybe if he tried to snag hold of another catwalk on the way down. Probably beak every bone in his hand. But that was better than dying, probably? Truly this was the depth of Darth Osano's boredom that he would rather think these thoughts and speculate over the nature of a gruesome death by falling than actually listen to the boring prattle pouring from the Warden's mouth.

"We are very, very honored to have you here, your excellency. You will find there is no better prison, no better prison at all..." And on and on. Eventually the catwalk turned towards a wall, barred with a heavy blast door. The Warden's pudgy fingers fumbled with his keycard for a moment before he was able to slide it through the reader. The door hissed open. "Come, come, right this way..."

Yidhra

Mars Tsosûtiyakûtiyuska
Well, hello again.

The full extent of the words that actually ran through her head was more along the lines of Duoté, aras zim wo shitsûra ni tzis maturi ra an ziur nu darwar. Kad ratinti zim tuti ai dosika zim tsariz.

But Yidhra wasn’t one so easily deterred. So what if this world had been under her purview mere months ago? So what if she’d sacrificed lives and good, ancient Sith Lords to crush the Dominion’s efforts on Serenno? That she’d performed a violent blood ritual as old as the Purebloods themselves?

The universe certainly didn’t care, and so she wouldn’t either.

With Udraitor under her fingertips, the Sorceress of Athiss loomed over Serenno, three yellow eyes clouded with ill intent.

Ruins of Zannia,
Serenno.

He had heard of what had happened on Serenno. The Resurgent Empire had come and conquered the planet. Only to fall apart briefly afterward. A shame. Though, it left opportunity for the true Empire.

While Venthis was asked to accompany his allies on this mission, he was unsure of its purpose or its final goal. Though, he understood it would be important if it was directed to so many of the Empire. Planning was key. Taking a different approach, Venthis had decided to pose as one of the Duke's officers. He wore their armor. Having his long black hair, in a bun. Fitting in almost perfectly, removing one of their own the night before to ensure he wouldn't interrupt his plan. He stood alongside the other sworn-men who were sent under the order of the Duke.

Taking note of all that was spoken, he would simmer to the back of the group. Keeping a close eye on each and every one of the visitors. While these objects of empowerment did interest Venthis. He knew that obtaining one was not the mission. Though if the opportunity to arise...

"Who put these things in ere' then?" He spoke, echoing from the back of the group placing a 'common folk' accent on, attempting to seem oblivious to the objects and aiding the Duke while gathering information that Venthis actually wanted.

She perked a silver eyebrow. While the motion was familiar, the feedback from the hair, bristling just a little, was strange to her. It didn’t really show. Eharl looked at the officer, her lips thinning for a moment as she considered his question.

Don’t think nobody put them there. Dark things seek old and powerful places, they do. And sometimes, the powerful things spawn them out of thin air. Poof! Juss’ like that.

She nodded sagely, lifting her eyes to the ceiling and shouldering her rifle as she stepped gingerly around a slippery bit of stone.

Trust me, boy. I’ve seen some things.

That was no lie. She had seen terrible things done by beasts drawn to the power of dark artefacts, and it took much less time than one imagined. They twisted mind and flesh and soul out of their mundane form and transmuted it to something truly beautiful. The Alchemists of the Sith and dark witches made creatures that nature would not dare conjure. Beasts to break worlds. Rancors and Zillo Beasts were twisted into beasts of murder, but the most terrible creation of all was likely the alchemists themselves: They had taken nature by the scruff of its neck and commanded it to violence.

Ophidia shuddered in delight, but made it appear as though she shivered from a memory of fear, or perhaps just the cold, damp air of an “old” cave

Stay close to the group, keep ya feet light and ya eyes sharp, and you may live.

She threw him a smile, her teeth pearly white.

"Listen to her, lads." The green-skinned woman retorted, while they picked their path around a treacherous crevice. One of the Duke's men stumbled, almost falling to his death before Cerbera yanked him back by his shoulder, the pull strong enough to send him almost sprawling back into his companions and associates.

They all started snickering while the man scratched the back of his head in an annoyed fashion. "I-I saw that, I didn't need your help!" This only evoked more laughter from the Duke's dozen.

The Sith looked back, big amber disks looking wryly at the blushing lad. "Yes, yes, you had it completely under control, of course." They passed the crevice as loose pieces of rocks started to fall down. Long, long fall, considering they could only hear them bouncing one side of the rock wall to the other without a seeming end.

Her fist rose up in the air as an universal show of 'stop'.

"Hear that?" Skittering of claws against stone, scraping in all the wrong ways.

Tyrian stood behind the Sithe Pureblood, his gaze fixed on the viewport ahead of him.

He had been present on this world when the Resurgent Empire had struck. The fighting had been fierce, bloody, and exhausting. The Dominion had fought bravely and valiantly, though the SIth had eventually triumphed in the end. Of course that victory had really lasted only a short while before the Empire had collapsed in upon itself, but then that was the nature of Sith. As he spent more time around them, Tyrian became to realize that they were a conflicted people.

On the one hand they wanted power more than anything, but on the other they craved legacy for themselves.

They were not a people that would come together and unite under a single banner, not for long anyway. They would work with one another only as long as it suited each individual. It was pathetic in it's own way, though Tyrian would never say such a thing outloud.

It would be a death sentence. "Your orders, My Lord?"

Tyrian questioned as his gaze drifted away from the world below to the Sith. He knew Yidhra had a large hand in the Resurgent Empire's strike at Serenno, her exploits above Kushibah were well known even among the rank and file of the Empire. They had all felt the effects of her ritual, had all felt the darkside forced into him. The rage, the anger, the strength that had come onto them was something that had been almost awe inspiring. Many of his fellow soldiers yearned for it once more, though Tyrian himself was weary.

Such things weren't natural.

All the work Ra had done in the past few years had seemed fruitless to her. While within the Dominion, she had worked her way up in power, claimed a couple locations and even worked for the government. It had almost been taken from her, only her holdings remained. The Dominion had lost Serenno and they had been forced to abandon what they had there. Now though, a chance had come up to return, maybe not to retake what had been lost, but to ensure the information she had helped gather didn't fall into the wrong hands.

To help her accomplish this, Ra approached Adron and Anya. They had been her allies before and hopefully would see the purpose of this visit. While they were there, they would hopefully get Adron back his manor as well. Priority would be what was held in intelligence though.

She had given them the day, time and location to meet. Now waiting for them to join her, Ra stood at the entrance of their former facility. Her hair was braided like normal and she was in her customary black with her weapons hidden. The only one you could see what a double bladed hilt at her hip.

Eharl snickered when the boy landed on his back, and she looked nervously at the chasm when the second wave of laughter broke out. She squinted and adjusted the settings on the combat aid over her left eye. This was a lot of sound, and the dark things listened. This she knew.

She was the third last to pass the crevice, barely having scampered away from the edge and reset her rifle to her shoulder when Cerbera threw her fist up. “Hear that” She heard it. Skittering, clawing, picking at the stones with long sharp appendages. Eharl dropped to one knee, set her back against the stone and looked through the scope of her gun.

Eyes open, backs covered, lads.

She put a finger on the trigger as a shape stirred in the shadow. A pair of glowing eyes stared at her before a clacking sound escaped from somewhere on its form.

In sight.

She exhaled, held it, squeezed the trigger. A single bolt of blue burst from her long barrel and struck between the eyes. She squeezed again, one more hit, right above the head. Two rings of smouldering flesh marked the creature as it clicked furiously and skittered away. There were more, certainly, and they could take a punch. Two bolts of high powered plasma and still walking? – Or rather, limping. – These were properly put together.

She lowered her rifle, checking her immediate surroundings while her hand fell to the vibroblade at the back of her hip – And the twinned lightsabres hidden near it – In case she needed it. One of the dozen men, who had stood right next to her, now tumbled over the edge of the cliff. He was exactly one head shorter than before.

“Ch'aisin'ah esecah. Flank!

Eharl spun around, drawing the vibroblade from her hip and spun to face the wall she had her back to. Two long, scythe-like blades jabbed into the stone while an eyeless, arachnid face opened its mandibles in their direction. All she had between it and herself was a piece of vibrating durasteel.

Serenno, Wintermoor Castle

The shift in the Dark Side was something that couldn't be denied. All around the castle, the Venjuta sensed it, and each knew what it meant. The Sith had arrived on Serenno. Under the rule of the Dominion, very few, if any, of their brand of Sith tread upon the hallow surface, A glimpse here or a glimpse there was all that was ever felt, however this feeling was more dark; more connected to the Dark Side. The other Noble Houses would shutter at the thought of these visitors, some lobbying on behalf of protecting their holdings whilst others would band together plotting mischievous ways to thwart them. For House Venjuta, who held a long association with the varying facets of the Sith Order, welcomed them like family.

This monumental arrival of the Sith Empire was a blessing to the Venjuta, and a curse to those Noble Houses that already held misgivings about House Venjuta. For centuries the Venjuta were scoffed, mocked, and left from the annual gatherings of the Counts; where in those four-sided walls they conjured ways to expel them from Serenno. Only through contributions had the Venjuta remained on Serenno; however, if the others knew what compromised of the Venjuta, war would have broken out to destroy these vampires. These hybrids of the undead. And yet, with the arrival of the famed Dark Side Order Serenno would now learn prosperity.

"Let those other Nobles quake! Let them feel the blade's tip as it pokes and prods around their egotistical minds," I said slamming my fist down on the council table. Around the table, sat the appointed advisers to the Patriarch and Count of the Venjuta; each starring at me with blooming smiles. "I ask you, why should we care about the fate of our enemies? I ask you, why should we lobby on their behalf? Is it because for thousands of years they have accused us of being in league with the Sith or that we walk among the Darkness as they do, that only now they seek our counsel when they see the accusations they smeared upon our Bloodline as truth? Ha! Let them burn!"

A round of applause echoed through the council chambers, each one sitting here praising my stance. For to long I made vain attempts to ease tensions among our fellow Houses, to seal pacts of peace and friendship, and to protect those I shared citizenship with despite their hatred of us only to discover that I had been lying to myself. I was wrong to see that my House could ever live in peace as long as our enemies stood staunch against our gates, and now the time to strike back was at hand.

"Let us invite the Sith here! Let us lend them support and aid so that Serenno could at last be free of it's chains, chains lashed around the planet from greedy and pompous old men! Darkness has finally come to our world, and I tell you Brothers and Sisters, embrace it! And as for these old men, these Counts, these Lords, these self-proclaiming Kings of the Houses of Serenno; I say we prop them up and dance under the moon whilst the Sith cut away their faltering smiles!"

The machinations and manipulations of the political battlefield were things that Lykos would admit to holding his interest. The playful twisting of words to describe oneself as honest and virtuous while decrying your opposition was as beautiful and something that needed to be as meticulously practiced as a strike of a sword. In the end, the battle of wits and sparring of rapiers in the form of words was a cacophony of carefully planned music to the Iridonian. However, while he found a measure of dark enjoyment in such practices, that did not mean that he relished in them when it came to the lesser, weaker, more parasitic beings that seemed to be the majority of the political power in the galaxy; especially when they lived outside of the influence of the Sith. Such displays were tiresome rather than fascinating, annoying rather than something that the oft brutish looking Iridonian could study.

Of course, such opinions were nowhere to be seen within his scarred features as he stared stoically at the translucent, blue figure before him. A translucent, blue figure who's prattling - Lykos swore that he was now repeating himself for the third time now - came to an end with a slight rise of the Zabrak's hand. Disgust welled up within his stomach as he watched the figure whip at obvious beads of nervous sweat that had begun to gather at his brow, however, just as his disgust at the pathetic display of political deceit was not shown in his features, his disgust for the weak-minded man was not show either.

"To save you and I some time, Duke, mayhaps I be allowed to speak?" The Duke was allowed no time to reply to the droll sarcasm before Lykos would carry on speaking. No point in risking the man falling into yet another long winded and stuttered tirade. Even he had a limit to his patience at times. "You wish to contract the Assassins to remove Duke Ture and his family, in doing so removing a power stood in opposition to the Sith Empire declaring dominion over Serenno. Am I correct?"

"Y-Yes, m'Lord. W-We of House Dugane, loyal servants to the Sith I assure you - seek only to remove an obstacle that may stand in the way of your lordships' rightful seat of power - n-no other reason I assure. House Ture stands most v-vehemently against th-the Empire and surely one such as yourself can clearly s-see benefit in..."

Again the Duke would be cut short as Lykos would raise a single hand. Beneath the cold facade he always wore, Lykos was sneering in disgust. The fact that the Duke was attempting this action to curry favour with the Sith was clear and obvious, no matter how many weak denials he made. Of course, it was not that the Duke wished to curry favour that disgusted Lykos, but, rather, the transparent way he tried to go about it.

"The contract between House Dugane and the Assassins has been made. I shall see to the completion of the contract myself. Payment shall be determined upon completion pending how thorough the completion is, agreed?"

"Y-Yes..."

Before any more could be said, Lykos cut the connection between himself and the young Duke, sighing in annoyance. Why the man's father had had to die of an inconvenient heart attack the Sith did not know. The prior Duke Dugane had had a much stronger spine and been leagues more intelligent than his son. At least he would have been a fun opponent to fight.

As they trekked on, an amused look settled on Jacob's face; albeit it went unseen by the majority, perhaps Cerbera had caught it. He listened to the conversation between Eharl and Venthis, recognizing the latter, but was as equally unaware that it was the Rattataki currently masquerading as the older mercenary.

Jacob moved with precise, careful steps as he passed by the crevice, his eyes lingering a couple times down into the abyss that awaited anyone unfortunate enough to slip.

And as if on queue, one of the duke's men almost met that fate; if it weren't for Cerbera's quick instincts grabbing him. He let out a chuckle as the woman pulled him back with enough strength to send him towards his comrades, his arse hitting the ground with an ungraceful thud. Jacob shook his head in amusment, gazing back to see the embarrassment flashing across the young man's cheeks.

Although while his fellows laughed at his expense, Jacob's attention immediately snapped to the skittering racket that was growing increasingly louder. He stopped as Cerbera raised her hand, calling out to listen. He did hear it, and his hand snapped to the vibroblade at his waist.

To Jacob there was just a mass of presences lurching towards them. Coming primarily from straight ahead, but specifically to their left, right, and if he his assumptions were correct; above as well.

Keeping his eyes forwards, he watched from his peripheral vision as Eharl fired towards one of the creatures. He noted her target was still walking; limping albeit, after two shots of her weapon. They were tough, either in general or specifically from plasma.

Jacob hopped backwards as one of the arachnid-like creatures leaped towards him, trying to impale him on one of its legs. However as he moved back, Jacob brought his blade arcing up, managing to slice the leg off before it could hit his shoulder. Although that hardly deterred the monster, and it persisted with its attempts to stab him. He dodge and blocked what he could, while also taking an analysis of its protection.

"Aim for the legs or the underbelly! Their carapace appears to have been made tougher." That last bit went without saying to those that recognized these creatures as what they were, Sithspawn.

Ruins of Zannia,
Serenno.

A soft grunt of amusement would leave the mouth of Venthis in response to Eharl. Something clicked in his head at her knowledge on the matter. Perhaps she was one of Sith present on the excursion. Though that was what was interesting about this mission. None of the attendees knew who each other were the Sith, especially not Venthis at least.

"Ah, right." He said, shuffling back into the crowd of his 'allies'.

Though, his eyes would flicker to the green-skinned lady as she rose her hand. He would seemingly begin to tap into the force. Sensing outwards. Multiple creatures. He unholsters the dual blaster pistols aiming them in the direction of the unknown hostiles. Shots began to break loose, and as they did he would barge to the front of the group. Beginning to fire off in the direction of the creatures.

While being young, Venthis did know brief military training. "Firing line, men." He addressed the fellow men sworn to the Dukes, as they all shuffled into line on his right. Firing off he would shoot deep into each of the creatures. His aim while sloppy he was able to reach them at a mid-range. A quiet exhale would leave his mouth, his eyes snapping to Jacob noticing a creature not too far from him looking as if it were to strike. He would point at the creature, pointing it out to the men. Before firing at it himself.

As Jacob called out for their weaknesses he took note. "You heard him, shoot the karking things on their underside!" Following suit he would fire off more shots, before replacing his blaster cell. Glaring to his comrades for a moment.

Masked and silenced, it seemed that this particular figure had a habit of showing up at incredibly convenient times.

Kith had started keeping an eye on the blossoming Sith Empire not long ago. It had been [member="Darth Saarai"]'s interest and involvement, in truth, that had lured her into breaking her promise to simply watch and survey. To weigh it, and see where it was left wanting. And if that wanting was something she could fill.... or if it was reason to turn her back and shun this creature. Was it growth or destruction that drove it? Could there be a balance with so many disparate egos and desires coming into play.

She had helped Tai Fa twice now. The first she had been able to keep hidden from any but him. But the second had been noted and watched by his Inquisitors. While they were loyal to him certainly, she did not trust that. While not a one of them had seen her face, heard her true voice as unaltered by the insectoid mask, they had heard the name Caecus. And there was no one by that name who had pledged their loyalty to the Dark Lord and his new empire.

Concern brought her to Serreno. The collapse of a government always brought unrest. And although so many voices of dissent had been imprisoned in the days of the last regime, one of the first things any new conquerors would do would be to court those voices of opposition.

She intended to wait. To watch. To not intervene this time, because surely there would be no reason to. No matter what the agents of the Empire desired here, she had no inclination to stop them even if it was a course of action she deemed unwise.

No.

Caecus simply wished to see. And add whatever unfolded to her scales.

The acolyte had been sent to The Spike, an underground facility built with the intention of holding the prisoners of the Empire, both of those aligned with the force or not. The tasks that Sinya had been sent here to do was a mere simple one that involved dealing with keeping the prisoners in order.

Unruliness was bad for business, and as the there were still quite plenty of those hooligans and miscreants that clung bitterly to their nonsensical beliefs of the Dominion. So of course, they created trouble, with talks of riots and rebellions and all those stuff. Now, Sinya knew plenty about uprisings and rebellions,
havingbeing part of one herself. She knew how important it was to nip it in the bud during its early stages before the bud began taking root and growing into a fully grown tree. It definitely is easier getting rid of a growing seedling than uprooting a fully grown tree that that had spread its roots deep into the heart.

The overseers and guards of the facility had requested help, and while her superiors in the Saaraishash took care of duties far more befitting those of their rank as Lords of the Sith, the initiate was left to deal with these discerning prisoners. She didn’t even know if any of these lots was even force sensitive or trained.

Nevertheless, she took the chance to make use of this assignment to have some shocking fun. Ohhh, did she love her
puns. These would be a great opportunity to practise and learn how to deal with this nonsensical lot and put back some form of order into the mind of these rebellious minds. Can’t they just see that it would be in their best interests to cooperate with the interests of the Sith Empire?

No, maybe not.
