SETTING INFORMATION
  • City Name: New Sularenopolis
  • Classification: Metropolis
  • Location: Asog
  • Affiliation: The Final Dawn
  • Population: Heavy [9.4 Million as of 900 ABY]
  • Demographics:
    • 78% Human
    • 22% Other
  • Wealth: High | As most of the original refugees from Byss and Epoch we're comprised of Middle Class and Upper Class civilians and military officers, a large populace of New Sularenopolis are relatively wealthy with a high standard of living, often holding places within the military sector or the economic sector of the Final Dawn which itself enables them to maintain and often expand that wealth and standard of living thanks to the privileges and opportunities that come with working in such areas.
  • Stability: High | Having managed to avoid getting imprisoned or killed by Anti-Imperial elements in the Deep Core thanks to the efforts of Marlon Sularen and the Final Dawn, the citizens and soldiers of New Sularenopolis possess a strong sense of duty, loyalty and obedience to the High Regent and the State. The Youth are educated into believing in the merits of Humanocentrism and other key tenants of the Final Dawn's Pure Neo-Imperial ideology while the Office of Neo-Imperial Veracity constantly churns out heavy propaganda to keep the masses placated while making use of tight restriction and censorship to keep them under control. This allows New Sularenopolis to remain in relative stability and prevents any sort of uprising against the rule of the Final Dawn, ensuring that the city remains underneath the grip of the Final Dawn without any sort of clear opposition.
  • Freedom & Oppression: As is the norm on cities occupied by the Final Dawn, New Sularenopolis is subject to heavy surveillance considerable military presence with most freedoms being suppressed in favor for a strong sense of jingoism, patriotism and loyalty to the state amongst the masses who owe their continued survival to the High Regent Marlon Sularen and by extension the Final Dawn. Neo-Imperial Brutetroopers and COMPPOR Security Troopers can be found guarding and monitoring intersections and important landmarks while undercover COMPPOR Agents keep an eye out for any form of dissent amongst the population which itself is very rare. Propaganda is commonly found on New Sularenopolis as COMPPOR's Office of Neo-Imperial Veracity works day and night to ensure the populace remains placated through any means necessary ensuring that harmful information from outside sources remain censored in favor of state-friendly outlets. Due to these methods and the constant presence of it's military and COMPPOR, the Final Dawn has the entire city underneath it's thumb ensuring it's continued growth and loyalty for decades to come.
  • Description: New Sularenopolis is the de jure capital city of Asog, first established as part of colonization efforts undertaken by the Final Dawn on Asog when the Brotherhood of the Maw took over the world. The City was initially founded by Neo-Imperial loyalist refugees who fled the Anti-Imperial Purges that occurred on the Deep Core Worlds of Byss and Epoch after their Imperial regimes were overthrown by the Galactic Alliance and Pro-democratic forces Since then New Sularenopolis has grown into a large self-sufficient metropolis, contributing to the Final Dawn's War Machine with large Military Factories and Shipyards that have since been built within the indsutrial metropolis. Thus due to it's heavy industry and the fact that it houses the Final Dawn's primary military base on the Planet, New Sularenopolis is also heavily guarded to the same degree as the heavily fortified cities of O'reen and Najra-Va, being protected by large walls and housing a large garrison of soldiers supported by additional defenses to ward off external attacks, ensuring that what happened on Byss and Epoch would never happen again to the people of New Sularenopolis.
POINTS OF INTEREST

The Neo-Imperial Citadel is in constant contact with the Throneworld of the High Regent, O'reen, and any word passed down from the Grand O'reenian Palace immediately is received here and put into action.
