Phrik Blade and Guard - The weapon is able to stand up to lightsabers and other strong melee weapons, and its guard is able to protect the wearers hand(s) from glancing strikes
Brylark Hilt - The hilt made of wood that is as strong as metal, will not shatter or burn like average wood, giving it strength under pressure
Light, yet Strong - The blade is able to make quick attacks, being light and short
Strengths:
- Phrik - The blade is made of Phrik, making it eligible to fight any melee weapon created
- Short Sword - As with most melee weapons, the Decimation is limited to the wielders strength in the end, not able to generate very much strength compared to larger, heavier weapons.
"Decimation, Token of Invocation" has been a sword that has lived for a very long time. At first, it was an ordinary sword of wood and iron, forged from one of the oldest blacksmiths Fort Galderra ever had, who lived longer than most. The sword was one of the first to be seen for a mass-produced sword of Fort Galderra, given to all denizens who resided, and to take up arms against the raiding Gamorreans. Fort Galderra otherwise mostly used spears in defense. Decimation became an iconic symbol of Fort Galderra, by creation of its blacksmith and its wide use of its relatives. Eventually, the blacksmith fell too old, and could no longer fight, and offered up the sword to be sold. It wasn't a heroic blade, or a legendary one, it's symbol was spread over the Fort. When Eddak was of age to take up arms, he purchased the sword when it was rusted and old. Still, he purchased it with what coin he had so that he could prove to the garrison guard that he was worthy of a rank, to join.
Over the years, Eddak trained, fought, and fixed the blade to a better condition. It was his only weapon when he went out with the guard to fight Gamorreans for most of his life, before he took the mayors position. After the introduction of slugthrowers to the community, and the fort gaining a monarchial government, Eddak opted to further increase the swords abilities and materials to better ensure the protection of his home. With the stories coming from the galaxy that Phrik survived a planet being destroyed on top of it, it made Eddak think it was a legendary metal that could not be compared to any other, not even to the dark magics of the force users.
