STORY OF DARTH VOYANCE
THE DARK ORACLE AND THE DARK LORD
Pythia knew no other life that wasn’t in chains on
Ventooine. How many years had she spent on that planet under the watchful and jealous guard of her
Pykian Master Grebb, dancing and performing oracle seances for the scum that washed into his bazaar. Pythia, from a very young age, was considered special. She could see things, old things, new things, and things forgotten. Haunted by nightmares and prophetic dreams; just by a touch of her hands she could dive into your memories. She was a living oracle, the slavers would advertise, but, more importantly for Grebb she a beautiful jewel with fair skin and fairer body.
So that is what Grebb called her, Jewel the Living Oracle
. Unknown to Grebb or Pythia, her prophetic dreams and super empathic powers were raw powers in the force manifest. But, Grebb was sure to keep his jewel away from “those whispering mystics and their lies.” Every performance was designed around her powers, and if there was a particularly powerful and wealthy guest, it was designed around her body.
On those days, Pythia would be restrained by an electro-collar, shocked into numb submission so that the other pleasure sisters would inject here with powerful
nyriaan narcotics to send Pythia into euphoric hallucinatory state they thought heightened her powers. In a dazed and entranced state she would dance in like the flakes of fires to the guests and while intoxicated beyond any control she would fall into the groping hands of her clients to whisper into the ears their darkest secrets through her powers.
She would never exactly remember what happened during these “special performances”, but, she could feel what had been done, every time. However, as a jewel she was well treated (besides the performances). She was the jewel after all, they kept her in a special chamber within the bazaar filled with soft cushions and rugs, sheets and perfumes with trinkets. A beautiful cage. The other pleasure sister would resent her for her special treatment.
On one incident, Pythia’s narcotics were mixed with nerve agents that were designed to cripple her and stop her from dancing forever. It wasn’t until one the of sisters called for Grebb that the poison was removed. When Grebb investigated the pleasure sisters lied saying Pythia had attempted to commit suicide. As a result, now even in her cage Pythia is watched by female guards, she calls the twins.
Even so, with all this, Pythia has one hope - but, one that feels like a shadow in the mist. In her dreams, and nightmares that haunt her sleeping days she is visited by a dark and terrible shadow. However, this shadow does not instil fear into Pythia. The shadow is a powerful and provides warmth. Pythia knows not of who or what it symbolises, what memory and or some phantom from someone’s mind she had absorbed.
But, the shadow would protect her, call to her, and speak to her. It demanded that she give herself to a faith in darkness. So she did, and often she would pray to this shadow and ask her for deliverance from the lights and colours of the bazaar to the warm embrace of quiet dark. And one day, a harbinger of this darkness will arrive - and set her free.
Pyhtia during a performance of her powers and dance within the Pykian Slavemaster Grebb's Slaver's Bazaar is discovered among the lecherous clients by [member="Darth Carnifex"], Dark Lord of the Sith Empire renewed in the Tingel Arm, as well as a spy R2-Q5 unit named [member="Goran"]. During the struggle Goran unleashes a rigged assault of e-web blasters killing the patrons and starting a chaos of a blaster fight. During the fight, Pythia touches the Dark Lord while her empath powers were still free flowing.
The touch would awaken her dormant darkside powers. Her slave master Grebb would attempt to extract Pythia but, Pythia fought back. During the struggle, Pythia's young zeltron attendant Zerra would try and free Pythia only to be shot by a startled Grebb. This would cause Pythia to snap and use her powers to gouge out Grebb's eyes and destroy his mind with her intrusive empath powers. Shocked and terrified, Pythia's fall had begun. Afterwards, Darth Carnifex would invite Pythia to be his apprentice and learn the ways of the Darkside and become a Sith.
DARK LORD'S SECRET APPRENTICE
Newly appointed as the Dark Lord of the Sith [member="Darth Carnifex"]'s secret apprentice, Pythia is taken by her new dark master to the ancient homeworld of the Sith Lords - Korriban. Here she is introduced to the Dark Side and the Sith Code, and new powers untold. In her conversations with her dark master, Pythia is taken to the tomb of Sith Lady
Calimondra. The Dark Lord commands her to connect with the spirit of the Sith Lady and through this experience, Pythia is transformed into a full Sith Acolyte steeped in the obsidian glow of the Dark Side. Here she is taught a personal lesson in the power of the Dark Side as a weapon of discrete terror, manipulation and conjuring. The lesson of Calimondra would impart a deep thirst in Pythia, a thirst for power!
Later, Pythia would venture into the Sith Training Academy on Bastion after ushered by her master the Dark Lord of the Sith Carnifex to enter into the training of a
Venthis Zambrano
(with greater goal of having her embedded into the academy's dangerous practitice as a test.) Along the way she meets Syss Rambala and the two become interested in each other. The seedlings of a future budding twisted friendship are sewn. Their conversation would be cut short by the mental intrusion of Venthis onto Pythia. Wrestling from the terror she introduces herself to Venthis and the two begin to discuss training - training that would catch lead Pythia down the final road to becoming a Sith Knight.
However, Pythia would be left on Korriban by her master. There, Pythia tries to discover greater secrets of the Dark Lords of the Sith by travelling the tombs of the Old Masters within the Valley of the Dark Lords. There she would face the ultimate test of whether the Dark Side has truly welcomed her and whether her ability to converse with the Dark Side truly gives her the privilege to be called a Sith. Pythia however, is confronted by the Sith Inquisitio who laid claim to a particular tomb that is emanating with a deep Dark Side aura. Pythia is threatened by death by the jealous and paranoid Sith Inquisitor Vaalron.
But, Pythia in her rage resolves to find her own way in. Deep inside she confronted by the lingering and bitter spirit of the Lord of Hate, of
Tulak Horde. On the threat of death, Horde commands Pythia to guard his tomb from the prying eyes of the Sith Inquisition and Scholars. Pythia agrees and gains a new, secret, and more deadly master. Tulak enlisted Pythia as his High Priestess and Guardian. She would come to kill the Inquisitors disturbing the tomb. For this Tulak taught her the ways of the saber, allowing her to develop a unique form that combined speed and terror.
But, for the killing of an Inquisitor, Vaalron, Pythia incurred the wrath of the Inquisition. To escape this, the Emperor disguised her escape as a false banishment. See was tasked with conducting a Dark Pilgrimage. And so for years and a decade, she wandered the galaxy. And now she has returned to be crowned as a Sith Lord by her master.
