NAME: Darth Mierin
FACTION: The One Sith
RANK: Sith Lord
SPECIES: Sith Pureblood
FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes
bLXlWZr.png
(Appearance)
Mierin like many Sith Purebloods has crimson red skin, bright almost glowing yellow eyes, and deep raven black hair. Her face is covered with ridges and horns, bones protruding from her skin slightly and piercings covering the whole of her face. Unlike many other Pureblood Mierin does not have the usual face tendrils, instead having more bone protrusions. This is considered odd, though not really uncommon in females of the species.
Most of her kind would consider Mierin quite beautiful, and indeed in her age she was hailed as one of the most striking Regents within the Empire. This beauty has carried even after her awakening, and those rare moments when she meets another Pureblood, her beauty is often commented on.
The thing that changes most often about Mierins appearance, is her myriad of facial piercings. For some unexplained reason Mierin changes these quite often. At times she simply has a single ring through her nose, and other times her face is decorated with metal bars, rings, and studs. Why she changes these so often is unknown, since no one has ever asked, but it isn't often that Mierin has the same piercings for more than a week.

(Personality)
Mierin much like every other Pureblood In existence has quite a big ego. This of course counteracts with her previous strength of being humbled, there is a difference however between having an ego, and being humbled. Mierin, although humble in the face of the Dark Lord and knowing herself to be lesser than someone else in the galaxy still believes herself to be the apex of what a Sith should be.
She is cruel, evil, and delights in the suffering of others, especially when it is brought on by her hand. The Lady of Athiss prides herself on her strength and the control she can exude on others. She believes herself to be better than many outside of the One Sith. This includes apprentices, until a person is inducted into the One Sith, they are little more than canon fodder or trash in the eyes of Darth Mierin.
To her fellow members however, Mierin acts wholly different. To anyone within the Order Mierin is respectful, and almost motherly. It is evident that she cares deeply for the Dark Lord, in an almost loving way, and thus she considers herself a sort of matriarchal figure to those within the Order. She acts with a guiding hand, offering advice and tutelage to those who seek it from her.

(Strength&Weaknesses)
[+]Guiding Hand: Like all Sith Purebloods Mierin is incredibly powerful in the force. The tug and flow of the Darkside of the force is as natural to Mierin as the gift of sight to most Humanoids. Her control of the ethos of the force are nearly boundless. Conjuring the force comes to her on a whim, Sith Lightning and powerful blasts of the force take her little effort to create and advanced techniques in the force cause Mierin little exertion.
[+]Humbled: The one point where Mierin differs from her kin is that she like nearly no other Pureblood before her has truly been humbled. When she stood against the Dark Lord and fought against his will, her mind was assailed, and she was shown the truth. Because of these events, Mierin shows none of the usual narcissism or hubris of the Sith species. Though she still looks down upon the Jedi, and those who cannot use the force, Mierin no longer thinks herself to be the greatest or most powerful Sith to ever walk the Galaxy, an unusual thing for her Species.
[+]Deft Hands: Mierin, although not a true blademaster is a more than formidable foe when it comes to lightsaber combat. Although she lived her early life long before Lightsabers came into daily use, her training with the uniquely weightless weapons went by fast once she was unfrozen and initiated into the One Sith. Used to the weight and balance of a Sith Sword, Mierin was bewildered and astounded by the The technology of Lightsabers, and she quickly grew into an expert in their use, utilizing a single red blade.
[+]Queen of Minds: Mierin is something of a Master when it comes to the use of Force Persuasion. She is by no means a Master of Mental attacks that damage or harm others, yet she has an impressive skill with the the ability to weave her words with the force. As she speaks she reigns a commanding presence, altering and twisting the minds of her victim as simply as cutting through butter. This doesn't work on certain species of course, but even Masters can find themselves caught within her web.
[+/-]Matriarch: Darth Mierin through some twisted fantasy within her mind considers herself to be the "Matriarch" of the One Sith. Though this self imposed title does not give her any power over the others, it is an interesting quirk in how she treats those within the Order. To Knights, and Even Masters Mierin acts almost motherly, a gentle guiding hand or sometimes a scolding voice when it is needed. This sometimes breed an interesting loyalty in some of the members of the One Sith, while in others it breeds an annoyance and even dislike towards the ancient Sith Lord.
[-]Muggle: Though many Sith Purebloods had gifts in both Sith Alchemy and Sorcery, Mierin was not one of them. She unlike many of her kin never took an interest in the more delicate arts of the Darkside, and instead preferred to use her own raw strength in the force to manifest powerful storms of lightning and blasts of the force, finding it more enjoyable, and much easier. Though that isn't to say she doesn't know the techniques.
[-]Shallow Mind: Though she has withstood the touch of the Dark Lord, and has survived many hundreds of years, Mierin finds herself quite weak against those Sith and Jedi that focus on the mental aspect of the force. She is not weak minded of course, a simple suggestion or rub of the force won't send her reeling, but a full fledged attack from a Master will harm her quite a bit more than one would expect.
[-]Dependent: Because of how she grew up, Mierin is not one to do things for herself. The Sith Pureblood, though no longer narcissistic and believing herself all knowing, is quite inept when it comes to...well mostly everything. She does not understood the day to day workings of things. Flying a ship, doing laundry, and the most inane things are beyond her. She no longer expects to be waited on hand and foot, but many things are simply beyond her understanding.

(Biography)
The woman who came to be Darth Mierin began her life eons ago within what is now known as the Old Sith Empire. Mierin was born into the time that many dubbed The Golden Age of the Sith. It was during this time that the Empire was at its most powerful and strongest. Born several years before the death of Marka Ragnos, Mierin was brought up within the majesty and strength of the Sith Empire. Her father was known as the Lord of Athiss, undisputed governor of the Sith World and one of the few who sat nearly equal to Marka Ragnos himself.
Though her father eventually fell into obscurity due to his own failings, Mierin was always meant to be a challenger to Marka Ragnos, and his rule. With this in mind Mierin was trained almost from birth in the greater uses of the force, as well as the blade.
Quickly Mierin became a formidable warrior, even at a young age she was considered one of the strongest Sith in nearly an age, perhaps even on foot with Ludo Kressh and Naga Sadow. Though of course this was just rumor and perhaps even a boast. Before this theory could be proven however, Marka Ragnos met his end. At the time, Mierin was but the tender age of twenty three, and due to her lack of a true powerbase, she was unable to vie for control of the Empire.
When eventually Naga Sadow and Ludo Kressh gained controlled of the Empire in tandem, Mierin followed her near leaders seemingly devoutly.
For the next few years Mierin created a powerbase for herself on her fathers old world of Athiss. Striving to remain out of the limelight Mierin moved within the shadows of the Old Empire, using Athiss to train spies, assassins, and other nefarious things Mierin ensured that although her powerbase grew, her notoriety did not. Her plan was to strike out at the leaders of the Old Empire all at once, removing those who stood in her way and becoming the first Empress.
Unfortunately for Mierin, such a time would never come. Before she could strike out at her leaders, the Great Hyperspace War erupted, and the galaxy fell into battles the like of which it had not seen in millenia.
The Great Hyperspace War was a tremulous time for everyone within the Old Empire, and being the Mistress of Athiss, Mierin was expected to contribute her fair share of warriors, and warships. She did so of course, sending fleets, armies, and everything she could against the Republic. As all Sith Purebloods did, Mierin led from the front, and she like Naga Sadow and Ludo Kressh and many more headed out into the war.
It was during one of these battles that Mierin found herself at a near end. Her flagship The Guile, along with a detachment of her fleet, was caught by a gathering of Republic warships. A massive battle ensued, and although they destroyed many Republic ships, Mierins fleet eventually succumbed to the might of the Republic Armada. Beaten back, the Sith Lady ordered a retreat, the Derriphan-Class Battleship quickly jumping to hyperspace.
Unfortunately for Mierin, her run of bad luck was not yet at an end. The Guile's hyperdrive had been damaged in the fighting, and before it could even make it a few light years, the ship dropped out of Hyperspace.
Trapped within the void between Stars, Mierin and her ship now drifted without hope of survival.
Knowing the danger she was in, and fearing for her life, Mierin took the only action she had available to her. The Sith Pureblood turned to the force. With a swift sense of purpose Mierin slaughtered the crew of her ship, taking their essence and utilizing it to empower herself. The strength she gained from their lives was enough to extend her life for years, augmented by Mierin putting herself in stasis, a condition that lasted for eons.
For thousands of years Mierin aboard her flagship floated through space. How the ship survived, or how it was not discovered over the eons is completely unknown, indeed even when asked herself Mierin tends to simply smile and say.
“It was the will of the Force.”
Regardless, after eons of sleep The Guile was eventually discovered, drifting among the stars. As it happened, it was not a coincidence that Mierins vessel was finally found, but instead, it was the guided sight of the Dark Lord that discovered the vessel within the Abyss. It was by his will that a Sith Lord known as Darth Shara sought out The Guile, and the woman aboard it.
Shara retrieved the still slumbering Mierin without much trouble.
The woman, ever narcissistic and egotistical had entombed herself upon a gilded throne. The Demon Lord of the Sith, instead of awakening the woman simply tore the throne from its place on the dais, dragging it aboard his own vessel, and returning to Prakith, leaving the ancient Guile to be destroyed by a self destruct sequence.
Mierin awoke upon her throne faced by creature that she would ultimately come to serve.
Her eyes fluttered open, and bright yellow eyes revealed to her the Dark Lord standing before her, the structure of reality tearing apart around him from his mere presence. True to the characteristics that bound her species Mierin began to make demands.
She asked the Dark Lord for the date, and he gave it.
She asked the Dark Lord for his name, and he gave it.
She asked the Dark Lord for his allegiance, and he denied it.
Before the Dark Lord could further speak, Mierin lashed out with all the strength of her kind. She summoned torrents of the darkside. Powerful blasts of the force, raging storms of lightning, and a dark crushing grip.
All of these things assailed the Dark Lord, and yet he never moved. She tore at him with all the power she had, and yet he did not even move. The only reaction the Dark Lord gave, was a simple blink of his terrible orange eyes. Her strength failing her, Mierin tried desperately to lash out, she jumped at the creature before her, lashing out with claw like nails, reduced to the attack of an animal in order to defeat her foe.
The moment he touched her, the moment her nails dug into his flesh.
Mierin changed.
When nails dug into flesh the Dark Lord released a portion of his strength. He allowed a flicker of himself to pass forth from him, and into Mierin. At that very moment, he destroyed her. The piece of him that he unleashed upon Mierin tore her apart in ways that were indescribable.
She was touched by the Dark Lord in ways no other Member of the One Sith had been.
To her very core Mierin was taken apart, and then rebuilt. She saw the truth of his power, she saw the vastness that was his strength. Her knowledge, her abilities, her dominance of the force, they were found wanting. She was a puddle next to an ocean, she was a speck of sand next to a star, she was nothing.
In an instant, all that Mierin was, crumbled to nothingness.
When the Dark Lord stepped away from her, when her nails left his flesh and she fell to the floor. What lay in a heap on the ground was something unique, something that the galaxy had never before seen. A Sith Pureblood of the Old Empire, truly humbled.
She arose from the floor, reverence and strangely...love in her eyes. She looked at the Dark Lord adoringly, as though he were a long lost love. A smile lay across her face, one that had never before been seen. She looked to him, and asked him a final question.
“What would you have me do?”
His answer was a single word. A command that would ring throughout her for centuries to come, a command that she still follows.
The Dark Lord christened Darth Mierin, replacing the name she had been given by The Sith of Old.
Darth Mierin set to work immediately, following the command of her great love. Being inducted into the Order came swiftly to her, and she took her place within the One Sith Swiftly. Strangely however, she did not act as an equal to the others, but instead a Matriarch.
She did not command or Order them about, but instead guided them, taught and instructed them as though she were a loving parent. Though the others found it odd at first, they said nothing, and swiftly found that oddly enough, Mierin fit the roll well. She was never disrespectful, never insulting, those that did not wish her mothering were respected, and those that found her an annoyance were ignored.
Darth Mieren became a guiding hand to the One Sith, a much needed soft touch in the harsh world of the Sith.
For nearly three centuries this was Mierins purpose. To those within the One Sith she was a maternal figure, a woman to be trusted.
To those outside of the One Sith however Mierin was something entirely different. If her interaction with the One Sith could be called Motherly, then her interactions with others could only be called Demonic. Though she was humbled, Mierin retained her inherent cruelty.
Darth Mierin held no mercy in her heart for those that denied her Dark Lord, and those that denied him felt her wrath. Over the centuries of the Gulag Plague hundreds of would be Jedi fell to Mierin, killed, tortured, or simply wiped away from the face of existence. Countless more innocents found their death at the hands of the Lady of Athiss, murdered when they would not submit, or simply got in her way.
Because of her fierce hand, Mierin was never one to leave her Dark Lords Citadel, only wandering when her particular services were necessary.
Instead she remained upon Prakith, watching, waiting, training, and doing the bidding of the man she loved. Now that Coruscant has Fallen, and the One Sith has revealed itself. Darth Mierin, by order of her Dark Lord, begins to appear in the galaxy once again.

This is cool, but what happened to your beast dude D:
I decided that as a character Shara was simply a tad bit overpowered, and it made writing him not fun for me(okay maybe it was fun for me a little) and those who fought him. I was also getting tired of writing a character with no personality.

Indeed. Unfortunately, my sword was lost over the eons and a replacement of the quality of old has yet to be found.

For the moment, i use a lightsaber. An astounding learning curve that had.

If you would accept the help of a non One-Sith I could forge you one if you provide the materials....
Though i appreciate the offer, the encounter would likely not end favorably for you, mostly due to your lack of association with the One Sith.

I would be happy to RP it out though.
