Crash Landing in Lunar Meadow

@Lilith Mae Lancaster

"Feth." Paega muttered. From what it seemed, Paega seemed to have developed a tendency to crash starfighters. Usually, her starfighters didn't last longer than a few months, probably the reason why she only usually got to pilot the Imperial TIE Nexus series ships. It really wasn't her fault though that she was a bad pilot. It wasn't like they taught much piloting in the Sith Academy.

The blonde Sith Knight had been taking some time off to recover from the recent battle against the Mandalorians at Yaga Minor. Paega had planned to relax for a bit on Zeltros, but fate seemed to have other plans for her. Her starfighter had somehow caught fire mid-flight, and she had to land what remained of the TIE before she along with the ship turned into space dust.

Before she knew it, Paega saw infront of her a planet of green landscape approaching fast. She had almost no control over the starfighter's descent, and she knew she was in for a steep crash landing. Only the Force knew if she could survive the crash. With a heave of effort, Paega pulled back on the controls, trying to smooth her descent as much as she could.

Lilith was on her next trip to a planet she had visited before. And it was a beautiful planet called Lunar Meadow. She had been there before with a tourism trip, but the trip hadn't been very good... She happened to drink as stupid drink which didn't actually exist... she happened to sleep in one room with... someone. And it was really weird. She didn't like it at all. But now she wanted to come back alone with her ship which she had stolen a long time ago. She hoped no one will find her. After all, the owner of the ship hadn't even tried to do something to get it back. So Lilith felt really safe.

She remembered, that it was better to land on a meadow on Lunar Meadow. But as she stepped out of the ship, she saw a ship coming towards the surface really fast. It was crashing. That's what Lilith understood. She tried to use the Force to push it a bit away, because... it was falling directly towards her. Even though she was an Apprentice-level Force-sensitive, she managed to change the direction the ship flew in and that way, she saved herself from death. It was another successful day.

Paega blinked for a second when her starfighter changed the direction ever so slightly, and she was able to get a glimpse out from her cockpit of that of a woman that she had narrowly missed crashing right into. With a final desparate pull on the throttle, the blonde Sith Knight managed to tilt her starfighter enough so that the ship would crash starting with its rear instead of head-on collision with the ground and the cockpit. Regardless, it was a devastating crash landing.

Flames erupted out from the back of starfighter, and Paega was knocked out cold from the collision. Her TIE fell apart, tumbling across the meadow at a dangerous speed before it rammed itself hard into a tree. While drifting in and out of consciousness, the blonde Sith Knight could tell she had broken several bones. Paega knew that she needed help, and fast. The problem was, she was going unconscious.

As the ship fell down, Lilith ran towards it. Maybe someone needed help? Crashes like this weren't very easy. She had crashed many times, too, and that's why she knew it. She reached the ship in a few moments. At first, she tried to understand what kind of ship it is. It looked a lot like a starfighter, but she was a bit unsure about it. She saw, how the flames started destroying the rear part of the ship. Lilith ran to the cockpit. She saw a woman there. A blonde. She tried to open the glass, but it was stuck there, so she couldn't take it away or open it. So she just hit it with her staff really hard and it started breaking. She knew with a staff, she can't destroy it, but she managed to get the glass back to its normal position, so she could open it.

She pulled the woman out and tried to figure out whether she is living or not. Now it was time to test her first aid skills. She understood the woman is alive, but needed help, so she tried to understand what had happened to the woman. She noticed a few bones are broken, but she didn't have a first aid it with her. So she saved it for later. The woman had to be conscious again.

It would take about five minutes for the blonde to regain some consciousness. Then she wished she hadn't gotten conscious when she did. Agonizing pain followed when she woke up, there broken bones in various parts across her body as well as numerous amounts of cuts, there seemed to be a particularly a big gash running down across her back, since it was there that the blonde felt that she was bleeding the most.

Paega found herself looking up at young woman when she opened her eyes, black dots appearing in her vision in her semi-conscious state. It appeared as though that she had pulled Paega out of the rubbles of what remained of her TIE, and the blonde Sith was rather grateful for being saved. But the young woman's heroic rescue would go to waste if Paega just ended up bleeding to death. The blonde tried to say something, anything at the young woman who had rescued her, but thanks to the pain that threatened to overwhelm her all that came out of her mouth was a painful groan.

Lilith looked at the woman as she got consciousness back. She had really got hurt, but Lilith couldn't find all of the things which might have happened to her. She only noticed some broken bones... and, well, blood. She had to get a first aid kit really quickly. Fortunately, they were near a village, so Lilith ran there. The village was beautiful. But she had to get the bandages and a few other things. But she noticed a Jedi Master there. It was a Master she had met when she was a Padawan. It was better to hide from him, because... she would've got caught. Instead of looking for a first aid kit, she changed her plans. She decided to take a medical droid with her. She knew, that on the trip ships, there is always at least one of these.

She went looking for the ship. It had to be out of the town. And it had to have a Republic symbol on it. Well, she actually found it quite soon. It was on the other side of the village. And to get there, she had to get past the Jedi Master. The Master was currently entering a cantina, so she decided to use the moment. She used the Force Jump for the first time. She had heard about it before, but like with many powers, she didn't know, how to use it. And now she had to figure it out with just a moment.

She was successful. Almost. She didn't reach the other side, so she had to try again. Because of lack of training, she was already a bit tired, but she had to push herself. There was a dying woman she had to save. As she used the Force Jump again, she felt through the Force, that she will reach the other side. She just... felt like she had used enough power to do this. And she didn't fail this time. She managed to jump almost next to the ship.

She entered the ship and took the medical droid with her without saying anything. Just to be sure nothing goes wrong, she also took the first aid kit. She would've never known whether the droid had the kit or not. So it was better to take it along.

Then she had to use the Force Jump two times again and run to the woman. She became really tired. Carrying a droid with her was not very easy. But she managed to get back before anything bad happened.

Paega groaned once more as the woman that had pulled her out of her crashed starfighter seemed to leave her. She didn't know where the woman was going, and she partly feared that she had given up on saving her. The blonde opened her right eye, gazing as the woman ran away. With a gasp, the Sith Knight managed to prop herself up a bit, leaning against the nearby rubbles.

Too tired to keep her eyes open, Paega instead used the Force to assess her injuries and wounds. The deep gash on her back kept on bleeding relentlessly, and the blonde managed to slowly tear out a chunk of her clothes to use the torn pieces to use to try and ease her bleeding. Sharb jabs of pain naer her ribs told her that bones there were fractured as well, and blood leaking out from her left arm said that her arm was wounded as well.

It happened that the woman hadn't ditched Paega, after all. Whe Paega found the energy to reopen her eyes, she saw that the woman had returned, with a medic droid and a medpac. The medic droid drove some sort of an anesthesiatic shot into her shoulders, and the blonde Sith Knight found herself falling unconscious once more.

Lilith was really scared. She feared the woman will die, even though the droid was already helping her and she had tried to do everything she could to save the woman. She even tried using the Force to help her, but she wasn't powerful enough. Or she just didn't know how to heal. And it made her even more worried. "I hope she doesn't die!" she repeated for about a minute or even longer. It was all so scary. And it made a bad memory appear.

She tried not to think about the memory. It was too cruel... it was terrible. She refreshed her mind by thinking about the current situation. It helped a bit... but not as much as she would've liked.

Paega would awake to feel pain for about the third time that day. It was rather an unfortunate timing, since she awoke right when the medic droid was applying bacta patches to her scarred back. The stinging pain made Paega instinctively reach out using the Force for her lightsaber, and upon activating the weapon, sliced down the medic droid just as it finished applying the last of the bacta patches onto her injured back.

Clutching to a piece of debris from her destroyed ship, the blonde Sith Knight shakily stood up to face the stranger that seemed to have helped her heal. Paega voiced out the question that she had been trying to ask her for a while now. "Who are you...?" she inquired to Lilith, massaging her wounded back.

Lilith assumed the woman was starting to feel better since she already stood up and... talked... But she seemed to be really hurt. Crashing with a ship was a really dangerous thing. Like Lilith had heard, normally people don't survive accidents like this.

"I'm Lilith... a Sith..." Lilith replied to the woman. She looked at the droid who now just stood there. Probably the droid had done everything he could to help this woman. But then she looked at the blonde woman and smiled. "How are you feeling?"

It hurt to keep herself standing. Paega shook as she tried to keep herself from falling back down onto the ground. The girl introduced herself as Lilith, supposedly a Sith. The blonde Sith trembled slightly in pain as Lilith asked how she was feeling. Perhaps it was the great loss of blood, but Paega was feeling dangerously light-headed now, and she threw up to the side. Overall, she was not at all feeling great.

Whoever this person was, it appeared as though Paega wasn't facing an aggressor. Possibly an ally, if the girl was really being truthful when she said she was a Sith. "What planet is this, though? And what are you doing here?" she managed to say, coughing here and there.

"Well, it's... um... Lunar Meadow. It's a very nice planet, actually. I wanted to visit this planet again, because I like it. But then you crashed," Lilith said. She still worried about the woman's health. "Really, are you okay?" she asked. She then walked to the droid and turned her off. Hopefully they didn't need him anymore.
