Verrin Ris'To
K'paur Pureblood
Verrin had a soft spot for Coruscant, and at night, the entire planet seemed to transform into an array of lights that could easily be seen from orbit. Of course, the lower in Coruscant he went the less the light seems to penetrate into the dark center of the planet where the light seemed to be faint and isolated usually taking the form of dim lighting on the roof and the weak lighting of signs aligning the walls and shops.
The people of Lower Coruscant were among his favorite in the galaxy. Sometimes they could be crude, violent, and gang affiliated, but the small families and single parents working numerous shifts to try and make their children's lives better were other people that lived on the lower sections of Coruscant. They faced numerous hardships, but they still fought for the hopes of a better future and represented the spirit that Verrin liked to think was the Republic.
Verrin walked down the dimly lit, but crowded, streets enjoying the evening breeze, which was really industrial fans pushing clean recycled air through the lower sections. No matter how many walks he took through Coruscant, he felt he learned more and more about the planet, but also became aware of how little he knew about it. What would he run into this time?
He could faintly hear the sounds of struggle in a nearby alley and rushed towards it as his instincts told him something was wrong, and his sense in the force told him of the aggression and fear that was spiking in whoever was inside. Turning a corner, Verrin reached for his lightsaber and looked down the alleyway to find the source of his unease.
