DESCRIPTION
The Corellian Engineering Corporation is a galactic famous starship manufacturer, the main target demographic of CEC has always been the ships for the civilian market, as well the production of after market upgrades made up another large portion of it's income, however with the current galactic turmoil CEC has also moved to include the production of military vessels. During it's years of success and prosperity the CEC founded two subsidiary companies, Coreillian Arms and Chempat Engineered Defences (done as a joint venture with Kuat Drive Yards), these brought further success. Unfortunately as years went on Correilian Arms began to slowly down size, it was losing money and as maintained only a single factory on Naboo. However it's strong galactic presence was not enough to save the company form the destruction of Corellia and took a major hit to production ability and stock prices. Since then the resistant company has started to rebuild but it had been too much of a hit and CEC still has yet to fully recover.
However, regardless of it's current financial position the Corellian Engineering Corporation has been, and always will be, dedicated to producing quality products for customers, this attitude was what rose it to it's height and it will be what brings it back from the current crisis.
Going forward CEC is continuously looking to bring new and exciting products to the galaxy.
RATIONALE
With The Dominion on the rebuild an injection of large corporations doing business would be a massive boon to the growing economy, bringing a major corporation's business to the area has been a goal of the senate since the birth of the Dominion. Unable to bring companies into the fold through monetary dealings and other diplomatic methods Director Myth’rand of the Dominion Security Bureau began to work his intelligence magic. He used agents to conduct assassination, bribery, and intimidation, in addition to this he made use of the Dominion Security Bureau's discretionary spending budget he was able to accrue enough stock to conduct an internal takeover of the corporation. Upon seizing control several large “donations” were made to the discretionary funding in order to replace the used budget.
