Clubbed to death

Jenn was needing a break from all the adventures for the company. She was enjoying the perks, but there was a time when one just needed to get back to their roots, right? And her roots were from being what another galaxy would call a cyberpunk. Even not that felt odd. She was working for a big corporation, in perhaps one of the biggest conglomerates in the galaxy. The Commerce Guild was starting to unify companies, and she was doing her best to help with that, but there were certain things that she just really needed to work on for herself.

Like that one project the blonde gunrunner chick handed to her. Something about a Positronic company… But there was only so much she could get from the HoloNet. While she was very good with computers, there were new techniques she had and one of them was needing to be in the server room. So much more access and no one needed to cover tracks. It was what she was used to nowadays, with her partner [member="Emerald Sage"] breaking in and doing their missions.

Tonight, Jenn was heading to do some recon. Not of the business, she had been by this All-Worlds Positronic’s offices, both on Coruscant and aboard. She wanted to get out, get herself in front of some music and just… walk the streets. And that was why she was on the Sith capital. In the underworld, walking her way through the underpasses, and just listening to the world around her. She was either going to find some fun, or find a new target to hack.

If there was one thing for certain about Jenn Blanchard it was that she was a pretty solid console cowboy. Sure, she might not live in the Sprawl and was working for the corporations, but her history was against them. It was just that unlike most, she took a job that provided her numerous targets and worlds to travel to. It was true that she preferred to be jacked in, but staying on one world kept her a bit too grounded. She knew it was a big galaxy, and if her job required she travel rather than work from her own personal terminal, she would. Kept it so she couldn’t be traced, and gave her and her partner a bit more of a legend that they broke into places to hack them.

Sure, she could do most of it behind her alias of Gambit but that would be running the risk of being tracked. Being sent on mission kept her mobile, and it allowed her to use a variety of locations and run her signal all over the galaxy. But tonight, she wasn’t really hunting. Not right away. What she wanted to do was check in on a contact that Marek had given her, a [member="Cryax Bane"].

She had done her research on the hacker and knew he was accessing Second Sphere a lot. What she needed was to get in there. From there, a message to the contact and maybe, just maybe they’d meet up. Or arrange a meeting. She stepped into a local holonet lounge and made her way to a machine. Slicing through the admin system, she was now the admin. Look at me, I’m the admin now, style. Now to download Second Sphere…

Maybe she wasn’t going dancing after all.
