Description: Understanding the ever growing need for protective, lightweight armor, Seraphina sought out Cortosis on a mission with Kian Karr to obtain a bit of the material. The Twi'lek felt that this would serve well integrated into a pair of gauntlets, given that it was both resistant to lightsabers, and had the ability to render a lightsaber inactive for a brief period. The gauntlets were manufactured using a combination of spacer's leather as a base material, armorplast, and infused with Cortosis, to provide a lightweight, highly effective gauntlet to protect against lightsabers, blasters, and slugthrowers. An inherent weakness in the materials used give it two key flaws, the first being electrical current, with the second being bludgeoning weapons. The gauntlets are designed to keep the wearer safe from finger tip to the crook of the elbow.

With the push of a small emergency button, a single bacta shot would be self-injected directly into the bloodstream. While highly effective at reducing pain and aiding in rapid injury healing for anything short of the severing of limbs, this process would begin to dull the user's senses almost immediately, including a variety of other side effects. Senses being hearing, taste, smell, and partial vision. Other side effects may involve nausea, dizziness, or in some cases, complete loss of consciousness.
