[SIZE=14.666666666666666px]During the GADF and New Jedi Order’s operation to bring Omwat into the fold of the Alliance a number of Darkside sects needed to be cleared from the world. During the mission Jacen Voidstalker was engaged with several Acolytes from the Final Order, whilst A’dele Adonai provided assistance to the Navy pilots who were attempting to displace a large smuggler fleet.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=14.666666666666666px]Qorbin Fal, Master of the Final Order’s Dark Jedi, sensed the influence of the Iridonian healer as she used the Force to coordinate the Alliance forces. Having lost several significant battles to the Alliance whilst Battle Meditation was being used, he decided to strike at the source. Draining two Acolytes in the process he struck at Adele directly, breaking through the veneer of control. Jacen later found A’dele in an almost comatose state on the crashed Alliance frigate ANS [/SIZE][SIZE=14.666666666666666px]Redemption.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=14.666666666666666px]Having been counselled by Omai Rhen that striking back was not the correct move, Jacen took leave to try and find methods by which he could protect her from the same thing happening again. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=14.666666666666666px]His journey sent him to visit [member="Rave Merrill"]s apprentice Ithorian on Varunda IX. Apparently she had some kind of history with the Grand Marshall of the New Jedi Order. A steep price was named, but instead Aawaya accepted payment in the form of services. Jacen tracked down an errant sithspawn that was traipsing through a nearby jungle after escaping its confines. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=14.666666666666666px]After the circlet was constructed the Kasha stones were inset around the band. Each stone has a similar, yet slightly different set of patterns etched into every facet of the stone. If one were to look at these under a microscope they would find that the fractal whorls continue down to an incredibly detail level. Whether viewed by eye or extreme magnification the same intricate patterns seem to be visible. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=14.666666666666666px]The Kasha gem was set into the front of the circlet. At the back of the setting is a small electronic device. Together with the particular etchings and process of formation, this turns the crystal into a Gormak Crystal Alphawave Inhibitor. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=14.666666666666666px]The band itself is formed of Rhodium. It’s durable and has a nice clean white appearance. The shape adds nothing to the functionality, but Jacen chose it anyway. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=14.666666666666666px]Jacen took the circlet to Kyrikal where Gomue Kas, a Jal Shey Mentor, was to imbue with circlet itself to protect the mind from the influence of the Darkside. Unfortunately Jacen was ambushed on the platform by two of Qorbin Fal’s Acolytes. Nearly losing his eyes in the ensuing battle[/SIZE]

[SIZE=14.666666666666666px]Imbuement helps protect the mind from the influence of the Darkside. This assists the wearing in staying focussed when there were attempts to assault the mind. It also helps keep the wearing from being influenced by the dark side of the force when feeling emotional duress. [/SIZE]
