Presidential Palace:
[X] | Presidential Office

"Architecture is a form of art in itself, is it not?"
- A quote from the famous architect of Commenor, Gerald Von Glik -

The palace is a a masterpiece. Built by the late, great architect Gerald Von Glik, the structure is a true sight to behold. Made from Steelstone, the palace is a pure, stone white. The building has quite a few unique touches. The first of which, that many would come to adorn are the archways, the perfect simulation of physics, that without a second glance, would keep you questioning, how? With sixty-eight archways in total, the palace extends to a a few thousand feet outward and sideways. These archways are more than just a work of art, but also leads guests and workers into the main building at large, where regardless of which artistic path you choose, you always end up in the Foyer.

Along with the features that you see on the outside, a whopping total of Fifty-Two windows are presented before the onlookers. The windows are shaped like many others, square and rectangle. Only the difference between the palace windows and any other old scenic tool, is the pane around them. Etched into the white wood window panes, holds artwork. Some windows have the symbol of Commenor. Other windows have strong symbols of confidence, housed by lions, roaring at the top of the window. Marvelous to examine, one window at the center-fold of the entire palace is a beautifully crafted window harboring images of peace and unity. A sign of Commenor's strength in such a diverse society.

The building itself is quite massive, almost a mile in length, half that in width. Standing at a mere 110 feet it's a beacon of hope. The peaks of the palace are Mosaic presentations of art. Glass and stone are combined to make a breathtaking display of beauty and innovation. There are a total of 132 rooms, each facilitated by those that work under the power of President, [member="Lady Kay"].

With the President comes the Presidential Office, which inside the four walls, of it's marvelous blueprint; is a decor unlike any other. The dark mahogany wood and lavishing white oak fireplace sets the tone of peace and calming. The only true way to explain it's dazzling features is by seeing it.

Surrounding the magnificent palace is a park and a landing pad for an influx of ships.

(This palace may have it's own submission in the future.)

University of Eight:
[X]

"Warfare is the product of cowardice; it takes bravery to forego easy answers and find peaceful resolutions."
- Quote from Senator Padmé Amidala -

Learning, it's the most crucial thing to do for many life forms. Instead of using the normal aspects of many galactic standard rules for teaching, the University of Eight or UOE, follows Eight strict disciplines for their accepted students. Passed and recognized as a flawless success in the past one-hundred and twelve institutional years, UOE has made it's mark on Chasin City, along with the rest of the galaxy. With an astounding 85% success rate after graduating and a affordable means to pay for the studies, the acceptance rate has reached an all time high, sitting at 66% since the last two years to present. The foundation of the university is split into eight buildings each used for different forms of study. The institute is renowned for all their programs so signaling one out, wouldn't do it justice.

The University of Eight is one of several schools on Commenor and part of the University of Commenor's educational board of acceptance. Many of the the Universities on Commenor are supplied by the University of Commenor itself. Founded by the "Wise Eight" the school was built 112 years ago. Of course the disciplines they originally had instilled stuck. Closed down without merit by the Elders and the acting Ministers at the time, the school lost it's flair. This mattered little, the reformation of the Ministers that once ruled were now abolished, along with their ways thanks to [member="Lady Kay"] and her allied efforts. Even with the restrictions the school secretly taught those in need of their ways. When the reformation was final, the school took notice and filed for a institutionalization act, which was made valid for a strong continuation in UOE's studies. Credited and willing to press forward into the future, The University of Eight, began to mold the minds of tomorrow once again.

The House of Art and Music : One of Eight other buildings throughout the large campus of the UOE. It houses a max capacity of Seven-Hundred Students, Three-Hundred of which annually belong to the UOE's Bright Star Symphony; a group of well orchestrated musicians and talented song writers. The University of Eight competes every year in the Galactic Orchestra Sonata, which they have won in the past three years. Their instruments are high grade and many musicians that teach at UOE are invited to musical institutes around the galaxy to choose talent they want for their own.

The other Four-Hundred students are hard at work making sculptures, drawings, paintings, modern arts, and many other forms of expression throughout the University as a whole. Art can be anything, it's this philosophy that makes the House of Art and Music so unique. From odd standing scraps of metal, twisted into emotional pieces; to photos of indigenous wild life and flora, UOE shows heart at the core of it's artistic studies. Students are taught to answer a simple, but powerful question.

"Who Are You?"

House of Law: Ever get into a tight spot you couldn't talk your way out of? UOE's house of law can teach you everything you need to know to become a fruitful and successful Lawyer. Whether it's Criminal or Civil, the House of Law teaches everything from Commenori law to the far reaches of traditional judicial systems of the Outer Rim. Students are dragged through a multitude of past cases to find the missing keys to life changing puzzles. The House of Law holds a rough 1,400 students split fifty-fifty for those practicing Criminal and Civil Laws. Those that are looking for something beyond the reaches of an every day galactic lawyer, can be taught all the ways of strict Commenori law. Those that seek such wisdom must have a flawless record and perfect GPA. If the students graduate from said studies, they are guaranteed a job as a Judge anywhere on Commenor, they so choose.

"Only justice can douse the flames of the unjust.." - Prosecutor Garmin Fol, during the Trial of Besinski Vs. Troth -

House of Drama and Poetry: With the lowest range of students accepted into the House of Drama and Poetry at the University of Eight, actors, actresses, and writers alike are set for life upon stepping into the halls of such an astounding building. With a discouraging number sitting at Two-Hundred and Fifty Five students as a whole, it's one of the hardest Houses on the campus to get into. Renowned for their writing and theatrics, the House of Drama and Poetry, has been recognized as the number one institution within the Rachuk Sector. This is mainly due to the hard driven motivators that shape the minds of the youth. The professors here are all famous writers, actors and actresses. Not only does the claim to fame give the House of Drama and Poetry a edge on the competition, but also the antics that are used to make the best of the best.

The walls are filled with written poetry of past students. Some wrote stories that once catch your eyes, you're sucked in. Costumes are hung along the theater balconies and masks, made from the House of Art and Music are stapled above them. The environment feels rich with passion, a quality that rarely shows in other institutes.

Students who happen to get into the prestigious program are changed forever, constantly seeking perfection and telling tales that sweep others away.

"Here's to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in square holes... the ones who see things differently -- they're not fond of rules... You can quote from them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can't do is ignore them because they change things... they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do. " ~Steve Jobs~

House of Trade and Marketing: Numbers, they are the backbone of the trading world. The House of Trade and Marketing focuses on the equivalent rates and strategies to make it's students into Business Owners, Planet Traders, Accountants, anything with numbers and goods, The House of Trade and Marketing, has it. With a vast number of students studying in such fields, it's the biggest building on UOE's campus to date, with over 10,000 students throughout. The House of Trade and Marketing is 37 acres of pure learning and filled with advanced sciences to make them the best at the job in the future.

Students soon to graduate are assigned Warehouses throughout Chasin City to keep track of goods imported and exported by the city. This gives the young minds of tomorrow a first look at what Trade, on the ground level; looks like and what they can do to make the process even smoother. The studies offer a course that goes over strict trade regulations, thousands of them throughout the galaxy. With innovation and mathematical sciences, the House of Trade and Marketing is a large gem in a already successful University Campus.

"Supply and Demand, it never fails." - Quote from Professor Bishop, during studies of Galactic Trade -

House of Culinary Arts: Commenor is known for it's delicious and unrivaled foods. With a expansive staff of off-world master chefs and some of Chasin City's best, the House of Culinary Arts is a melting pot of pure exquisite tastes. The school is filled with kitchens, each equipped to handle any endeavor that involves food. To allow a more hands on experience, the chef's teach students to explore fresh and new ingredients adding to the presentation and creativity in their dishes. Students are also taught table etiquette, which is used at the end of their graduating year to serve and eat with the Ministers of Commenor.

With the second largest populace on campus the House of Culinary Arts has a average of 5,500 students annually. The constant changes and curriculum in the House of Culinary Arts has proved successful and will continue to do so. With new and exceptional techniques, the students will rise to the top at the yearly held Chasin City, Cook Off. Only 100 participants are allowed and 50% of them are normally from UOE's own House of Culinary Arts.

A new program is currently being built, said to take a closer and thorough look at the process and creations of alcoholic beverages, such as Commenor's unrivaled Brandy and many others.

"You cannot get an influence from cuisine of a different world if you don't understand it. You've got to study it." - Chef Ferran Adira -

House of Politics and International Relations: Peace is something Commenor as a whole strives for. As a constant beacon in the galaxy and being useful to both sides has its benefits. Regardless, there are those that seek to crumble the hope of a peaceful opposition, because of this there are those that need to settle the score in a beneficial way, rather than war. With a course like Politics and International Relations, students would be able to assess and preform under tense situations involving Terms, Conditions, Policies, and much more. The professors take a interesting approach with this degree and in return have yielded a variety of results, all of which profound in their own right. Many students come out of the courses using words in a from of art, capable of turning the tides of any war.

Turning young people into an iron voice of peace and prosperity isn't an easy thing to do, but UOE's House of Politics and International Relations has done; just that. The House of Politics and International Relations is ranked #1 in "The Art of Negotiations." A course that has become the galactic standard in procedure and diplomacy regulations.

With a house full of 2,200 students it's no wonder that Commenor and Chasin City have remained a neutral party in the galaxy, reaping benefits not only from their allies, but themselves as well.

"When war stares you in the face, reject it...Only peace brings unity." - A quote from a Commenor Diplomat -

House of Dance and Circus Arts: The body is a incredible thing, no matter what species; there is always a way to display emotions through the movement of limbs. Combining all forms of dance on foot, ice, and many more, leads the students to become a work of art themselves. On top of Dance the Circus Arts that are practiced give more flexibility and expression to a more focused part of the body. Hands, Feet, Fingers, even stomachs can become a tool for both dancing and acrobatics.

A branch of the Dancing studies has focused most of it's core earnings to the display of Ice Skating, Ballet and Contemporary Dance lessons. The school provides all equipment needed for all acts. The building also holds a large gym and large ice arena. These three powerhouse arts are only a fraction of what our bodies as a whole are capable of. Several festivals and ceremonial events are usually greeted by a masterful performance from one of these three dance styles.

On top of such performances a Cirque De Soleil is held twice a year in Chasin City, once in the winter and another in the spring. These acts usually bring off-worlders to see the dangerous and captivating entertainment.

The House of Dance and Circus Arts holds a even 1,000 students and continues to grow on a yearly basis.

"Movement can be deceiving, but isn't that the beauty of it?" - Professor Anne Dreen, a famous dancer from the planet of Commenor -

House of Fashion and Fabrics: What you wear is who you are. It can tell a lot about you. Here in the House of Fashion and Fabrics you learn that quality is always over quantity. Learning how colors go together on the index of a strict pallet, students learn what hues go well with one another. Each stylist is offered thousands of fabrics to choose from all made from Commenor and other respective worlds. This allows for unique and new ideas in a leading fashion city. Some students go even farther than outfits and runway shows, instead working on home decor. This has been put on display in the Presidential Palace, Minister Offices and Embassies throughout the City.

Once a year a Runway Show is held for all planets in the Rachuk Sector, hoping to grab the attention of outside Commenori people. Local fans of the attire, made by the best of the House of Fashion and Fabrics Alumni, usually transition it into societal acceptance, starting bizarre and peculiar trends.

Twin Canyon Mines:
"Even in the darkest places there is light." - Quote by Chasin City Mining Corporation -

Dark, wet, and descending to a staggering 30,000 feet below the Twin Canyons, the mines are considered one of; if not the oldest operations outside Chasin City. The gemstones that are found deep within have brought wealth and riches to many. With a surge of findings in the late (BBY) years, the mines were taken over by a corporation, the CCMC or Chasin City Mining Corp. Realizing that there was more to the mines than just Gemstones, the Chasin City Mining Corp, began to proceed with a endeavor that still continues today.

The CCMC decided to start a mining expedition that would garner them not only wealth, but the Chasin City elders as well. Being able to build their own future far from the influences of other planet side cities. A deal was brokered and the Twin Canyon Mines were plunged of its resources, but not entirely. To this day, many formations and crystals from within the deep reaches of the mines are prevalent. Copper, Various Gems, Silver, With CCMC still alive and well, they have opened up the doors to the mines to many. A famous tourist spot for plenty of off-worlders. Every so often, the CCMC will commence expeditions, when ordered.

Within the Mines you'll find tools, dirt, stone, mud, pools of water and even breathtaking formations from the years of contortion. The ceiling is held firmly by strong beams, preventing cave ins. Stalagmites are normally found in the deepest of areas and when reached become freezing in temperature. Known for it's Chrysopaz Crystals, the mines tend to have a consistent hue of yellow. which locals call, "The Yellow Crest." The Yellow Crest is a chasm filled with Chrysopaz Crystals and tends to be the one place, in all of the mines, that has it's own natural light.

The older half of the mines have been closed off for years and doubles as a shelter; if Chasin City is ever attacked. The passageways from the city itself to the old mines is convenient and a safe way to evacuate under threat.

Minor:

Rock Point Bay:
Sunset Event

"As bright as the stars...but within reach!"
- A young girl, excited and pointing at the gleaming pointy rocks, being touched by the sun's last embrace -

To the west a large body of water provides a sea breeze on hot summer days. The Rock Point Bay was given the name after it's sharp, craggy underwater terrain. Housing a variety of fish life and used as a means of fresh seafood, the bay is a continuously giving feature of Chasin City. Along with the capture of fish, many boats and harbors were built along the coast of Chasin City. This allowed for quicker internal and external output. Once a year a commercial fishing contest is held, strictly catch and release. Once the fish are weighed they are thrown back in. The bay also brings many to dive for jewels and pearls that are easily sought after.

On occasion small pointed rocks will wash up to shore. The rocks were used for numerous arts and crafts in the city of Chasin. Some of the stones retrieved were also valuable to some of the locals. Tourist mainly seemed interested in the Chrysopaz Crystals, which sometimes are found along the shores of Rock Point Bay. Some people have been said to see the tiny, wet rocks in the distance becoming a noctilucent spectacle during the sunset.

The Rock Point Bay even has a lighthouse on the far west beaches of its reaches. The lighthouse is perfect for sailors lost at sea. It's also one of the top romantic places in the galaxy listed at number 25!

Eldritch Mountains:
"The elders knew and because they knew, we didn't."
- A guide explaining the Elder mountain faces -

Named after the Elders, the mountains of Chasin City provide trails, historical landmarks and even art. The rich hills of the Eldritch Mountains provide not only for those who live outside the city influence, but the animal life too. With a total of 24 trails to hike, camp and hunt on, the Eldritch mountains span a 100 Square Mile radius. On the side of one mountain without forested bramble, the faces of the three eldest, elders are chiseled into the mountain walls. Made as a reminder of there infinite wisdom. For a few hundred credits, tourist can see the Eldritch faces closer than ever, as they are guided up the steep cliffs and provided a lesson on how the work of art came to be.

The three tallest mountains each share drastic changes at their peaks, home to frigid, snowy weather. Most trails that lead up the three frosted peaks are avoided due to unpredictable storms. Even in the summer time, the peaks are frosted with a delicate white. Deeper in the crevices of the frost giants sit stone made structures, paying homage to the elders and their rule.

The last and most mysterious of it's features rests at it's base. A military facility is stationed and hidden in the lower hills of the Eldritch Mountains. The vast amount of trees keep it secret, although those that know of it's existence only reach it by one of the hidden passageways throughout Chasin City. General Omar Santiago rules the base with an iron fist and has kept the base a impenetrable fortress.

The Twin Canyons:
[X]
"The gap between time and creation is before you, The Twin Canyons came before the elders. Watch out for the Yotes, at night they're the only howls you'll hear."
- Ranger Doug, From Preservation of Natural Life Institute -
There were two of them, long and thick, dry and cracked, overgrown with flora and vines. The meandering twist and thistle lines engraved from the wind on the ancient walls of rock, were a testament of their past. Used in the former days as a way to find home, the two canyons lead adventurers straight back to the wide open fields of The Valley of the Storm. The Twin Canyons were more than just a compass, they held rare flora in the depths of it's gorges. No other world could provide you with two canyons in such condition. The lush green life within them both held medicinal herbs, fragrance to expunge odors and some even say the rarest flower of all, the Red Lotus.

For years the elders of Chasin City sought out the Red Lotus, but to no avail. After a long while it became myth, till this day, the tale of the Red Lotus remains, but not found. Along with these myths are rumors of beasts, living among the Yotes. Chasin City locals call them the Red Barons. Fast and agile the beasts are said to feed on the flesh of any unfortunate adventure within. Of course with a rich background, folktales were formed out of such legends. In a weird way, The Twin Canyons contributed to the culture of Chasin City, without even trying.

Tradition is something that makes Chasin City prosper and with it comes festivities. A long time festival is that of Pod Racing. Originally considered a danger to the pod racing world, The Twin Canyons gave a treacherous touch to the normal fiasco that took place on other planets. The Twin Canyon Pod track was filled with barriers to protect its contestants at all cost. Of course, even with these barriers, lives are lost, Pods ruined, and credits gained. Once a year Chasin City holds a circuit, with the best pod racers in the galaxy. The Twin Canyon Circuit Cup or the TTCCC, is spread into three weeks, three races a week, for a total of nine races. The racer with the most points wins! Due to the growth of the gorge, constant trimming is required before the track can be used, one lengthy vine and BAM! Your outta there! On occasion other factions would seek to host their own Pod racing games, allowing fans of both participating parties to come together and enjoy the wild race as a unified people.

At night the two canyons are said to drop in temperature, some even think that it snows on the ground floor of the crevice. Every so often ice would form along the rivers below, a sign that normally meant, winter was coming. The Canyons are vast and lead all the way to the confines of the sprawling Valley close to Chasin City. On a lucky night you'll be able to see a pack of Yotes, howling at the moon, a sight to truly behold.

Valley of the Storm:
[X]

"Imagine for a moment a large field of flowers and then in an instant, with a flash of lightning and a bit of rain, they change color, what once was red is now blue, green now orange, yellow now purple, and so on. It's truly a storms greatest gift to alter an already beautiful sight into something even more graceful." - A mother standing under the dark clouds of a squall, in the Valley of the Storm, to her eldest daughter-

Flat and filled with every native flower Chasin City has to offer isn't what makes the valley a unique and exceptional sight. In fact, in order to see it's true transition from beauty to angelic, you would have to pray for rain. While the Valley of the Storm is simply just that, its greatest feature lies within its plethora of blooms. Scientifically, the phenomenon that takes place during a storm has to do with moisture in the air and ground. The plants that crowd the valley floor have a rare synthesis, that allows them to use all of the nutrients from the rain or moisture in one fell swoop, causing a domino effect of colors.

Once the nutrients are sapped, the flowers transition into a new color. Scientist from other planets come to study the process and are even known to replicate the miracle in their own labs. While the moisture level is low, the flowers change at the slightest of air density, warning the people of Chasin City that a storm is coming. While many seek to watch the display unfold, The Valley of the Storm is said to have harsh weather conditions. The lightning from the valley is said to scorch the stone pillars that stick out from the valley floor. These pillars are called, "Stone Magnets" known for their magnetic properties deep within. This ultimately keeps the field of flowers from ever being struck. Those that are lucky, will get a few harsh winds and torrential rain on a perfect day to watch the event.

On rare nights the petals that bloomed from enough rain, become vibrant, almost glowing quietly for people to see. Some say if you reach the hill before the valley and catch such a sight, it will bring good fortune.

There is a consistency to the flowers color, but only in the winter. With the snow filling the ground floor the plants don't die, instead they all turn black, not wilted or decayed, simply; as if dyed black by the snow and ice. Of course as a tradition in the winter, children are said to go out to the valley and pick one black flower, presenting it to the President of Commneor during the Winter Festival.

Description:

Chasin City is a Metropolis with intricate and incredible skyscrapers, buildings, and temples. The vast city sprawls from the northern most point of the city to the south, ending just before the Twin Canyons. The city is filled with numerous shops, businesses, restaurants, companies, warehouses, universities and embassies. Everything a city would need, Chasin City has. The artistic influence on the city gives a Mosaic touch to older buildings. Statues are on every corner, supplied by the artists of UOE's alumni.

The rich smell of intoxicating food isn't absent from the city air. Those that visit are left salivating before sinking their teeth into the delectable dishes of Chasin City's own, masterful chef specialties. Along with many of the food chains on Commenor, Chasin City also is home to Plenty's, a renowned food chain in the galaxy. With a rich atmosphere of music and displays of art flooding the streets, Chasin City's warm culture is by far an experience in itself.

With such a robust populace the city has a large source of military personnel and city patrols to keep order. Higher governmental officials are said to use hidden paths weaved into the city as a precaution for evacuation purposes. The secret passageways lead directly to the far off mines to the east. A total of Seventy hidden underground pathways are kept as myth by the locals, but many believe they truly exist, a sign of hope if ever attacked. (They do exist.)

Mining operations and Manufacturing are a huge part of the economic incline of Chasin City. While many old factories were shut down, with new advancements and regulations, many of them have become active. This has created thousands of jobs for many of the people. The mining operations have yielded Chrysopaz Crystals and a plethora of other valuable gems and rare oils.

Twelve districts divide the city, reasons for such a grid based system, is solely for the stationed warehouses in twelve separate locations. These warehouses hold valuable goods ranging from a variety of natural resources, trade goods and weapons. Most of the goods held in these gigantic buildings are from allied trades and relations. It's happenstance that the grid based blueprint of the city makes policing far easier. Providing food and water to all twelve districts is a formulated work load for city regulators, but works. Governmental announcements are also easier to conduct because of the district grid.

With vast mountains, canyons, valleys and a bay, Chasin City is invitingly peaceful. Home to millions, many wouldn't change it for all the credits in the world. The Commenori are prideful of their city and with it welcome change, instilling values and morals beyond any other world in the galaxy. At it's heart Chasin City is a melting pot of diverse and incredible individuals that are bursting with life and kindness.

History:

The Three Brothers

Born in the heart of the wild three baby males were born. The origin of their rise to power dates back before Chasin City was even a sprawling vision that it is today. Birthed by a exiled Jedi, the three males were said to be a gift from the force, mainly due to the discouraging fact, that the Jedi who gave life to them, was unable to have children. Regardless, it happened and with it came a twist of events that would forever change one of Commenor's greatest cities.

At the ripe age of six the three brothers were taught to use the land and its resources to survive. This was a trying time for them. While most parents would name their children at birth, Jandal decided not to. Her name came from her father, given to her after proving herself against a Yote that tried to take her life, in the Twin Canyons. Primitive and vicious in their ways the three boys began to hunt, communicate telepathically, observe and most of all, learn. The rate of their gifts from the force came blindingly fast and in a few years time the boys succeeded in their own trials.

The first of the three boys, Jarik, was presented with choices. A trader from the far off sea's to the west brought wealth and power. Another trader brought paintings and utensils to sell. The last trader sold nothing, instead, offered a piece of cloth to learn the ways of knitting and sewing. Jarik knew that wealth could be obtained through other efforts and sent the first trader on his way. The idea of art and expression made him consider its usefulness, but even as bright as he was and capable at learning to paint; he was broke and sent the trader on his way. This left the cloth and a rather frail trader, clearly poor, but willing to teach. Jarik chose the trader based off the variable of change, something a ten year old had no business in factoring. Jarik was wise and taking the traders cloth sparked a innovative way to conceal and express themselves. The trader taught Jarik everything he knew and within a short time, instead of looking barbaric, when the trader had arrived, Jarik, looked civilized. What turned into a simple cloth soon became a valuable asset. Knowing that cloth wasn't the only material that could make a better world, he ventured out to other planets seeking more.

The second of the three boys, Jin, was slightly different from his brother Jarik. Instead of the image of how they were all perceived, he sought true change. In order to find the answers, Jin had to build. In order to build, he had to learn. He knew of his mother's tales about the far west reaches, cities built in favor of those in power. To him being able to build what he envisioned, meant power and rule. So with little study, provided by the small towns that grew over the ten years of his life he built a large boat and took others with him, that sought the knowledge of the westerners. Setting sail across the Rock Point Bay, proved difficult at first, until Jin, realized that the farther out they trudged, the deeper the water. The pointy rocks from the harbor no longer impeded their progress and so he was swept away into the vast ocean of Commenor. Reaching the western city, he immediately began to learn of their buildings, language, societal structure, and most off all; what would make his empire better than their own. A man was presented in light of this fact, a man that by decree of the city, was royal blood. The mysterious man wanted nothing more than to take Jin under his wing. Obliged to the thought, Jin was sucked into their ways and over the course of another ten years, Jin had taken over. His arts in diplomacy, policies, societal structure, and everything he yearned for; he now knew. He was better than the next in line to proceed him and as such completed his trial. Jin knew he was ready to return and set sail for his home once more.

The third of the three boys, Juri, was a man of insight, creativity, and most of all unity. He sought the understanding of others. It wasn't the comforting of his mother that made him calmer around others. It was the mere observation of what and who these people were that told a deeper story. This fact, made Juri an exceptional dealer and brought wealth to his family. This wasn't his goal, however, fate had it; that instead of the creative path he dearly sought, he strayed and the darkside of the force had found him. An unknown prospect had shifted his path, a black robed woman, masterful in the arts of the darkside. She asked him to travel the stars and gain power with her. While he saw this as an opportunity to meet millions of species to learn and understand the ways of others in the galaxy, he also learned the ways of a malevolent force beyond comparison. This lead Juri to find an art that could topple empires, deception. It wasn't much different from what he initially sought, the power to rule over others and unify them in his own way. Unfortunately, he lacked the creative venture he yearned for when he first started. Becoming a master of the darkside himself, he broke free of his master and began to mold his own future. Returning home would mean compromise and while the others may have found what they sought, Juri found power and influence.

Jandal couldn't wait to see what her sons had manifested into. She knew that regardless of their choices they could make a better world, for a better cause. Twenty years without them and soon the three of her magnificent gifts would return to her. It was only a matter of time...

The Rise and Fall

When the three brothers had arrived, what they came from; had changed immensely. What was once untouched land; had become small urban sections that harbored new life. Their absence meant others had rose to the occasion, trying to build a living for themselves. This wasn't only a sudden wake up call to the three of them, but also a motivator to take what was rightfully theirs. Before things could be set in motion they needed their mother Jandal.

She waited patiently for their return and after twenty or so years, the ridge on the horizon showed three silhouettes tall and grown. They came in unison and the force told her that her children had returned, finally. When Jarik, Jin and Juri reached their mother they laughed and cried. Stories were told of their ventures and with it came wisdom, beyond what Jandal saw in those that came after them. She knew her children would be the future of this place and if nothing else, it made her feel warmth. After a few days of exchanging each other’s talents and what they had learned, the three brothers sought change. Like all great changes, something or someone had to fall, in order for them to rise.

Juri had showed them the arts of the darkside and while it held power, Jarik in his travels; found the lightside. The old squabble between the light and dark, didn't matter to either of them and as such made them stronger. Jin on the other hand had taking a liking to neither side and became the balance between the two of them. The three of them were truly a force to be reckoned with. Regardless, they knew that Juri's masterful arts in the darkside could be useful to topple those that were currently in power. On the other hand Jarik and Juri, felt that using Jin to their advantage might be more useful, instead of inciting violence. Agreeing on Jin's diplomatic approach, they sent him to the urban area's nearby.

The people were dirty and had obsolete structures built to represent their efforts. This was something that troubled Jin, after seeing great cities and advanced systematic societies, he had to take control. Seeking information he came to a young woman, clothes clean and her face holding that of makeup. She greeted him with a bow, when she realized he wasn't from their small colony. Jin nodded in her direction and quickly asked.

"Who's in charge, young lady?"

The woman replied even quicker.

"I am...My name is Victoria Chasin." She paused. "Queen of the Two Colonies here on Commenor. How is it that I can help you sir?"

Jin was surprised that Victoria as young and fruitful, was a queen. This was even more difficult than he had planned, her beauty was unparalleled to those he had seen in his travels. This didn't make him nervous, but skeptical about his brothers’ alternative ideas. He quickly slide his hand out from underneath his robe and spoke.

"My name is Jin, I come from the northern mountainous region. I was born here, you see and as such am going to turn this place into something great. I only wish that we can work together on this matter. You see, I set out to learn and grow, it brought me everything I desired and more, except of course my one true goal. A great city to name and reign over."

He told the truth, partially. He knew that his brothers would disagree with working on their terms but something about Victoria told Jin, he was right. She smiled at his words, conflicted to take him seriously or not, she stared into his eyes and found passion.

"Well Jin, what did you have in mind?"

The two talked for hours, Jin had presented a bigger and better plan to make the start of a great city. The only thing they really needed was the resources.

Jin had been successful and as such, made his way back to Jarik, Juri and Jandal. When he arrived he spoke of the woman Victoria Chasin, Queen of the Two Colonies. He also filled them in on the deal he made before leaving. They would supply Victoria with any and all supplies until the first district of the city was made. She was to be kept as a governmental official of the highest decree, under them, of course. This appeased Jarik and Juri. With all of their out-world connections the three of them could easily fulfill what Victoria needed, to see Jin's vision come to light. In the hours they talked, Victoria had realized that Jin, was far wiser and more capable of leading her people.

Thirty-Six weeks later the project had commenced. With it came workers, thousands of workers and even more people willing to become part of the movement. Jin, Jarik and Juri all helped, laying stone after stone, nail after nail, and most of all infusing themselves into the colonies ways. Quickly and efficiently the first district of the city was created, while skyscrapers would come later, the people of the two colonies began to cheer. The sight of such futuristic buildings left many in awe.

Once the project was finished, a new problem arose. Victoria Chasin had lied and while she originally used Jin to do her own dirty work, she fell in love with him instead. A group by the name of "The Supremes" were who she worked for. Hidden behind the blanket of secrecy they finally choose to reveal themselves to the three brothers. Victoria urged them to see the better side of what the three brothers brought them, they refused. Thus, she was held as a bargaining token. The Supremes knew that Jin was in love with her and in exchange for keeping her alive, The Supremes would be able to take control of what they had built.

In light of all that had transpired, Juri realized that the group they were dealing with, were much like him. Dark, corrupt and deceptive. He was a master at all these things and while they had been duped, The Supremes had already lost. The mere fact that they considered Victoria as a important asset to them, made Juri happy, to him she was nothing and rightfully so. The main objective to all of them was molding the world as they saw fit. Juri knew of the rumors, Jin had fallen in love, but love was a canister of gasoline that Juri could set ablaze, it would muster everything Jin was, into something even greater. Jarik was clearly the only one willing to comply with The Supremes demands, but before the negotiations started, Jin lashed out, cursing the villainous monsters for using his emotions against him, He had learned that giving into both sides of the force was a way to keep balance, but the tables were shifted. The darkness consumed him and before he went to strike, Juri had already acted.

The seven Supremes had been killed, along with them, Victoria had begun to bleed out. Juri's act was decided on the stability of his brother Jin. Preventing his brother from suffocating into the darkside of the force meant he was saved, but at what price. Juri had tried to prevent Victoria's death, but in the end failed. This didn't trouble Juri, instead he saw it as a lesson, not for him, but his brother Jin. Love could tear them apart, could be used against them. Jarik watched it unfold, as quickly as it happened, Jarik knew it was the right thing to do. Bargaining with these men and women would have meant complete despair, for both sides. Tragic in the face of what they had done to their brother, but a necessary sacrifice to make a brighter future.

Jin felt it, the connection severed as he ran to Victoria's side. Clenching his fists he screamed, gripping at her body and squeezing as he began to sob. He could smell it, the same scent she always had. It was intoxicating and as quickly as it came it left him. He lifted his head, tears flowing down his cheeks, the white dress she favored over everything else, now soaked in red. It made him furious, but before he could let her go he whispered into her ear.

"I...I've thought of a name..." he choked up his tears and finished. "Chasin City, named after your beauty, my love."

Kissing her on the lips, his fingers moved to her open eyes. Closing her lids, he laid her down to rest. Jin was broken, his body numb and worst of all, blamed himself. His brothers depended on him to be the voice of reason, to keep calm, bind them together. The oddest reaction came after as Jin stood. He turned to his brothers with bloodshot eyes, his hands that were once fists now relaxed. he knew what had to be done.

"We will become them, rule everything that touches this land! I, Jin, will make the greatest city ever. It will be filled with millions and the two of you will be able to see your dreams blossom. Chasin City is ours!"

He screamed it, almost declaring that it would happen. He was right.

Thanks to Juri, the false rulers of Chasin City had fallen and the three brothers had risen. Love would become forbidden between the three of them and in due time, skyscrapers with true beauty would grace the things they built.

The Elders

The years were unaccounted for and by the time they realized it they were leaders of one of Commenor's greatest cities. They had survived wars, alliance after alliance and even so, they stood. Chasin City was massive and the operations that made it happen were mainly due to Jarik and before long, the Chasin City that once was insignificant, became a major player in commerce. Of course, for their timeless age their appearances were scarce. They had turned into absolute rulers, hiring Governmental Officials, Ministers, Presidents, you name it. All of them used to do their bidding, it had made Chasin City into what it was today and the things that came before it, were a reminder to their infinite wisdom.

Throughout the harsh years of change, they strictly affiliated with organizations that were ahead of their time and inevitably gave Chasin City a reputable clause for being neutral, open to others coming into their wonderful world. This obviously was done by Jin's masterful execution when it came to dealing with other individuals.

Before they knew it, the planet of Commenor was known for its Brandy, made in the heart of Chasin City. The city was filled with merchants, restaurants, performances of dance and circus acts, music and artistic individuals displaying their talents. This of course was thanks to Juri, he had found his creativity through others and as such demanded the best artists in the galaxy to meet with him. This was a rare thing, considering, many by this time had forgotten about the three brothers. What they built; they were able to watch flourish, but never take part. The things they did to reach where they were was dark. Sculptures were made after them, Mountains turned into their faces, and shrines from years before left to pay respects to.

Chasin City was the heart and soul of one man though, while three were involved only one truly remembered the beauty that was taken from him. Chasin City and what it had become filled the void, left by the death of Victoria Chasin. Jin saw her beauty in what he had built, his vengeful heart sheltered him from ever finding love again and even though they were all forgotten, the city kept giving.

In present day, Jarik, Jin and Juri are rarely heard of and when they are, they are called, "The Elders." To meet them is a rarity and while their intentions are pure, their actions far outweigh what they've built.

Intent: To provide Chasin City with key areas and give life to it. Essentially, to expand on a non-existent history for one of Commenor's greatest cities.

I love seeing people expand into smaller stubs on canon, and from what I can tell nothing in this is gamebreaking or attempting to change what we know from canon. The only issue I have is you mention droidspeak as a primary language. Unless the city has droid overlords I just don't see any normal citizens communicating with each other with it instead of basic. I don't mind a tidbit here or there saying it's common for citizens to understand it, but to say it's a primary method of communication is stretching it a bit far in my opinion.

My alt, Avalore Eden, lived on Commenor in Chasin City and worked at the Chasin City Hospital for quite some time; my fondness for that place probably makes me biased on this submission. This is wonderfully written and I applaud thee.

Approved.
