CETO is first and foremost a shipwright and outfitter of the Outer Rim for local governments and organizations requiring such for the use of civilians, transportation, defensive and offensive measures, and everything in between. Its shipyards, expanded and redesigned by the KDY since falling under the rule of the Moross Crusade, are capable of fielding ship numbers and sizes comparable to that of the KDY main orbital shipyard (not counting KDY’s numerous other shipyards throughout the KDY system and other canon systems).

Though the original company, Moross Shipwrights, began as a smaller founder corporation leasing the Ceto driveyards in order to fulfill their needs, over the course of the Moross Crusade rule the economy underwent several changes and the ownership of the shipyards in question soon fell into the hands of the Moross state per nationalized industry standards. Moross Shipwrights served its purpose for the Crusade for many years, but went into decline just before the Netherworld event. After the reaping, the company became defunct. Seeing an opportunity for expansion, arrangements were made in private for KDY to seize control of the shipyards in order to put them back into use.

It is not publicly known that the majority shareholder of CETO is, in fact, the CEO of the KDY (60% shares), making the company a secret subsidiary of the shipwright titan. The public face of CETO is that of Darcy Sixsmith, an unassuming blond man who fell into the position and owns (30%) shares, with the remaining (10%) shares being publically owned by the people of Ceto. He takes direction from the curiously absent benefactor for which he only has the name The Matron represented by a rather shady man named Ereza Kep. Now employing Ceto civilians and other local engineers, designers, and scientists, CETO stands as a beacon in the far reaches of space for those smaller factions looking to make a name for themselves.

CETO offers to the local systems ships for varying needs. Now out from under the rule of the Crusade, religion and government plays no role in how they conduct business. This stands as a boon to those factions who seek to wage war against the Sith and their allies, given that most of the galaxy’s greatest shipwrights are now under their control. Government contracting as well as private contracts are all well within their ability.

As well as building new ships, CETO offers a top-of-the-line refurbishment department that takes in salvaged ships for rebuild and upgrade. While the bulk of the main CETO driveyards manages the larger end of the manufacturing spectrum such as capital ships, its orbital driveyards over Kinooine take care of the smaller projects. Mobile Repair Yards and minor Ship Yards can be contracted for out-of-system use, or stand-alone over Kinooine.

HALCYON space train systems set up by the Moross Crusade between Ceto, Exocron, and Kinooine make traveling far easier and safer, allowing for the CETO employ and their clientele to conduct business without worry or delay.
