Relius came out of the doorless doorframe of his hut up on the top of the hill, distanced from the small village. He watched the ship begin to land in confusion, and his stomach churned. He'd been left alone all this time, why would the Jedi come back for him only now?

Then an even worse thought entered his mind. What if they weren't Jedi at all?

Nevertheless, he always made sure the people of the town felt calm and safe, so he was going to do that now. He went out to greet whoever had landed.

Relius stood still and at attention, ready to formally greet the new arrival; he said nothing to the droid, however, when Katarine herself came down the exit ramp, he was stunned and speechless.

Finally, he said something.

"I- uhh, hello. Wha- what, brings you here?"

"I- I used to be. I got stranded here on a mission with my master."

He took a pause to think.

"Sadly, I wouldn't know where to get any fuel. Maybe the Jedi will come now that two Jedi have been stranded here."

Relius was amazed even still at her, but thankfully, he was able to keep himself contained.

"Oh, nonsense. Stay as long as you need."

Yet another pause.

"I've been here a little over a decade now, to answer your question."

"When our ship crashed in the dense forest about a mile or two out, our astromech and most of the ship was destroyed."

The pain was visible in his eyes, although he had no idea.

"My master, he-... he didn't make it."

A look of indecision flickered in his eyes.

"No, I wouldn't want to bother you. Besides, I would rather stay here. I've come to love this place, as well as its locals."

He took yet another pause to gather his thoughts.

"Thank you, though. And you can sleep in one of the empty huts while you wait for your rescue."

"Well, I've got no reason not to be. It's a great breath of fresh air to see someone else here, actually. Especially a fellow Jedi."

He looked up to the sky, and then back to Katarine.

"Say, where were you going, anyway?"

"Poor droid looks like he had a factory defect. I wish I could say that I knew how to fix him, but that was usually something my master did."

It seemed that Relius had a lot of memories with his master.

"It's getting a bit late, so I'll trouble you no longer. I hunt in the mornings, if you want to join."

He turned and walked back to his hut.

Relius let a small look of sadness shine through at the words 'this evening,' but quickly concealed it for his response.

"I do more good here than I ever could out there. These people need someone like me to help with things they can't quite understand. Besides, the mission they sent me here for isn't over."

And then he let out a sigh, as if exhausted already.

"It's a shame you're going to miss the Starlight, though."

"Oh, I forgot. You haven't been here before. Every seven years," Relius began, ignoring the first question, "the three moons of Krythar as well as its stars, and it creates an absolutely beautiful sight. I wish you could stay for it."

Relius let out yet another sigh. He seemed to do that almost as much as dramatic pauses.

"Anyways," he said, readjusting the rifle on his back, "I've got to get hunting. Would you like to join me?"
