APPEARANCE:
Calo’s head is always shaved, keeping his hair short to the point of almost being bald. He has tattoos wrapping around from his shoulders down his arms. Usually he’ll wear a red shirt and blue pants, other times red and black armor that covers one arm. Has a harness that holds his sabers at his back instead of around his waist with a belt. Prefers to dual wield as opposed to one saber.
BIOGRAPHY:
Like anyone in the galaxy destine to be a Sith, Calo’s life was anything but happy. Born on Courascant his mother had died when he was only five years old from a rare sickness. Due to her job as a shipping pilot the support for both himself and his father had diminished with her death. His father, a failed soldier, had taken up bounty hunting as a means of income.
Over the years it became more and more clear that Calo’s father, Kuldur, was a poor example of a bounty hunter. Half of his bounties he collected on were small fish compared to others caught by more experienced hunters around the galaxy. This was bad for Calo especially since it meant needed to be watched by others instead of his own father. Whenever his father was home he would drink and take out his aggression on Calo, making him bitter towards the man.
One night Calo had a dream of seeing his father being killed in a fire fight but thought nothing of it. The next day his father had left for another bounty he was assured would be a more profitable one. A few days later, however, Calo had received the news of his father’s death by shooting. Surprised both by the death of his father and the fact that his dream had come true, Calo wondered if he had some deeper power he was unaware of.
With no other family Calo was sent to an orphanage where he stayed for the continuing years. He had more dreams and predictions of things that would happen, catching the attention of some of the other children in the orphanage. It wasn’t until one day when one of the bullies that continued to pick on him had finally angered Calo enough that he unleashed a heavy force push that had sent the boy into a wall, breaking a fair amount of bones in the process.
The heads of the orphanage had contacted the Jedi temple, telling of Calo’s skills, thus they offered to train him in the ways of the force. While Calo had agreed, thinking he would be among others like him, once he’d begun his training he found he had trouble agreeing with the Jedi’s ways of the force. His emotions became more of a drive for him in combat and using the force than actually calming his mind and depending on the force to guide his actions. The masters, while worried, still had hope that they could sway the young force user into a more righteous path of thinking.
These plans changed, however, when the Sith had invaded Courascant and attacked the temple. Admits all the chaos that had gone on during the attack the padawans were to be lead to safety. Calo, however, managed to stay behind due to his want to fight. But his feelings changed as he witnessed the power of the Sith at work over those of the Jedi, sparking his want for abilities such as theirs. To prove his conviction Calo had saved a Sith who was about to be defeated by a Jedi knight by using the force to break his neck. Sensing his emotions and power the Sith had agreed to take him in, another victorious event for them even after the fall of Courascant itself.
Now training among the Sith Calo hopes to achieve his place among the stronger members of the order while proving the Jedi wrong in that power is the means for control and survival.
