Description: The BRKR-12 is standard combat vibroblade, with sufficiently durable construction to punch through light armor, even without the vibration function engaged. Its sole distinctive feature is a pair of electrifiable contact points on the pommel, a standard contact-range electroshock weapon. When the pommel strikes a target with significant force, the capacitor discharges. As with most such weapons, it begins with high voltages to penetrate clothing, then switches to lower voltages to induce neuromuscular incapacitation. The charge from the pommel paralyzes and induces mild convulsions.
As the vibroblade and the electroshock pommel run from the same power cell, three discharges of the pommel will drain a standard power cell, rendering the vibroblade function inert.
