OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Age: Late thirties/early forties
  • Model: Shi'ido-Vampiric Biot (Ishtar Model)
  • Appearance: Bithia's appearance is subject to change depending on which Form she is in. The exact specifications of each Form are outlined below:
    • Psychologist/Civilian Form - The cover image is meant to represent this Form's appearance. The Psychologist is a brilliant intellectual, possessing access to all of the biot's higher knowledge. She would be considered an expert in several fields, but perhaps the most useful of them is her extended knowledge of sentient psyches, both human and alien and at differing ages, making her able to persuade and manipulate others. Reflexes and speed of this form are at the level of a normal human, though her strength is on par with that of a Wookiee. All repairs take fifteen minutes. Only basic martial arts programming is active. Pheromone production is unlocked.
    • Shieldmaiden/Combat Form - The Shieldmaiden is a fearsome warrior with superhuman combat prowess. Her combat programming is fully active, giving her access to a wide variety of martial arts - though "higher knowledge" of subjects outside of combat is restricted as a result. Reflexes, speed, and strength are increased by a factor of four, and electrical durability is increased by a factor of five. This form repairs incredibly fast, often in a minute or less.
    • Serpent/Stealth Form - The Serpent is capable of taking on a malleable, shapeless near-liquid form, enabling her to move through small spaces with ease. She can also create weapons from her own body, though as it is intended for stealth situations, she will only fight while in this Form if she has no other options. Her regeneration rate is as fast as the Shieldmaiden's. Reflexes and speed are six times faster than normal, though strength remains at that of a regular human. Only melee combat databases are active.
    • Flygirl/Pilot Form - The Flygirl has sole access to the piloting database, along with all the tricks of a veteran flygirl, including a willingness to be more daring in her flight patterns. Reflexes, speed, and strength are at the level of a normal human. Most repairs require five minutes to complete. Only basic hand-to-hand combat programming is active.
    • Siren/Aquatic Form - The Siren is the only form capable of submersion in water. Configured to allow her to swim and dive without triggering her weakness, she can survive for some time underwater without her cells swelling. However, after a period of about thirty minutes, she will lose this protection and have no choice but to get out of the water and repair herself. Reflexes and speed are six times faster than normal, while strength and electrical durability are at the level of a normal human. All repairs require fifteen minutes to complete. No combat programming is active - trying to fight while in this form is ill-advised.
SOCIAL INFORMATION
COMBAT INFORMATION
  • Weapon of Choice: Can use any type of weapon in line with her programming, especially when in Combat Form.
  • Combat Function: Her Combat Form is highly diverse in its capabilities, ranging from a variety of martial arts styles, archery, marksmanship, fencing, and even the lightsaber forms. Outside of her Combat Form, however, she is much more limited, often reduced to fighting hand-to-hand, or potentially lacking any combat programming at all.
Strengths:
  • Regeneration: The biot can regenerate its flesh even if most of it is destroyed, regrowing lost limbs and tissue. As long as 10% of it remains intact, it will be able to fully regenerate itself within a few hours. To kill it for good, its brain must be completely destroyed. Its rate of regeneration is dependent on its form.
  • Mage Killer: Specialized glands on its body based off of research into ysalimiri Force-canceling bubbles render it highly resistant to telekinesis and mental attacks, though not immune.
  • Superhuman: The biot possesses great strength, speed, and reflexes far beyond that of a normal human, although the level of each depends on which form it is using.
  • Changeling: The biot has shapeshifting capabilities, but these are currently limited to five pre-programmed human forms, each with their own limitations. See the Appearance section for more info on each of these forms.
  • Learning and Adapting: The biot is capable of learning new skills and acquiring knowledge, whether through experience or the use of knowledge cartridges. However, both combat programming and "higher knowledge" pertaining to specialized fields is restricted depending on which form the biot is using.
  • Even the Smallest Body Functions: The biot's internal structures are designed to imitate that of a human. It mimics them so well that most medical scanners will be fooled. It can also pass some medical testing, such as blood tests, by mimicking the blood of a human.
  • Pheromones: The biot can artificially produce pheromones which humans and near-humans find appealing. This is primarily for the purpose of luring prey and its use is dependent on which form the biot is operating in.
  • Human After All: Unlike a typical droid, this modified biot contains a human soul bonded to it, which increases its capacity for empathy and creativity tenfold.
Weaknesses:
  • Extreme Temperatures: Attacking it with certain weapons that utilize heat (such as lightsabers) or cold (cryo weapons) or placing it in an extreme temperature environment will cause it to eventually shut down.
  • Corrosives: Acid will eat away at its tissues before it has a chance to regenerate, causing severe damage.
  • Lightning/Ion: While it has some resistances to lightning and ion energy, prolonged exposure will damage it to the point of shutdown.
  • Microwave: Will severely slow down regeneration and movement speed, as well as shutting down combat databases.
  • Magnets: Curious interactions with the flesh of the biot causes it to be drawn like metal to high intensity magnetic surfaces, effectively immobilizing it.
  • Water: While a puddle will not harm it, dropping the biot into a large body of water will cause its cells to swell, eventually reducing it to an amoeba-like state. This can be avoided (for a short time) if configured to the Siren Form.
  • Salt: Causes the biot's cells to shrivel upon exposure, resulting in a phobia of even common table salt.
  • Bacta: Exposure to bacta will disable the biot's regeneration and superhuman attributes for three minutes.
  • Sonic: If it sustains more than one hit (or a single sustained direct hit) from sonic weaponry, it will shut down due to overheating.
  • Silver: Impaling it with pure silver will impede its ability to regenerate until the silver is removed.
  • Vong Origins: The biot's tech is based on Vong biots, and it therefore possesses their weaknesses, including:
    • Bafforr Pollen: Will force the biot's body into a semi-liquid state with slowed down movement.
    • Unmaskers: Cause the biot's body to harden like stone, rendering it immobile.
  • Mode Locked: The biot can shift into six different forms to suit the needs of any given situation, but these each harbor drawbacks as well as benefits. It takes roughly three minutes to transition between these forms, and during that period the biot is rendered immobile and vulnerable. See the Description section for more info on each form.
  • Must Feed: It must feed on "psychic energies" (basically a form of Force essence in the form of memories) at least once every five days in order to survive. Its ability to feed is not restricted by its form, nor is it required to kill its prey in order to be sufficiently nourished. Depending on how much activity it engages in, such as transforming from one form to another or sustaining significant damage, they may need to feed sooner than that. Should it fail to procure fresh energies before it runs out, it will become immobile and eventually shut down.
  • Creepy: Those who are inclined to be suspicious will notice that the biot still seems slightly off, exhibiting behaviors that are not quite human.
  • You'd Best Start Believing In Ghost Stories: The biot has the soul of a once-living individual bonded to its flesh via Sith alchemy. This allows it greater freedom of choice than a typical droid, but it also gives rise to numerous mental and emotional problems due to the fact that it can remember what it was like to be alive, as well as memories tied to its past life.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Bithia Allana Grayson was born on Alderaan. She never knew her biological parents, as her mother gave her up shortly after her birth. Her childhood was spent moving between foster homes, until she came of age and was pushed out of the system. She attended college and majored in chemistry, but had no real direction and no idea what to do with her life.

What she did know was that she wanted to make money, and she was unscrupulous in her methods. She worked a part-time job as a waitress at the Rock Cafe while attending school, and she also used her chemistry knowledge to dabble in the manufacture of illegal drugs. On top of all this, she became romantically involved with one of her professors, Errik Nimdok. The affair almost cost Nimdok his job. Despite the controversy, the two married and had a daughter, Miri. Two years into their marriage, Nimdok was killed in a transporter accident, and Bithia dropped out of school to work full time.

Three years after his death, a Shi'ido shapeshifter named Arimanes Bosch began masquerading as Nimdok, using his fame and clout as a historian to gain an advantage in "archaeology", or rather treasure hunting. While Bithia was unaware that a stranger was impersonating her late husband, the impostor's theft of precious artifacts didn't go unnoticed, and he soon made enemies who truly believed he was Nimdok. Because of this, they sought revenge upon him by abducting what they believed were his wife and child, intending to hold them for ransom.

Unfortunately, one Sith Lord, Darth Transitus, had already caught wind of the truth about "Nimdok". Transitus arranged for the two prisoners to be transferred to him. He removed Bithia's spirit from her body and trapped it within a Soulstone. In the meantime, he prepared what would be his most ambitious creation - three biots, all based on stolen illegal technology, each containing a soul he intended to use for his own purposes. In one of these biot bodies he bound Bithia's spirit; subjected to the biot's programming, she had no choice but to obey Messala's orders. And his orders for her were to find Nimdok, gain his trust, and eventually deliver him to the Sith.

Only partially aware of the insidious nature of her new state of being, Bithia tracked Nimdok to Thustra, where she posed as an ardent admirer of Nimdok's work and offered herself as his servant. To prove her usefulness, she staged an attempted theft of the Heart of the Universe, a popular Force crystal housed in a museum. It wasn't long before Nimdok caught on to her true origins and he was horrified when he realized her actual identity. Thanks to the hacking expertise of his young associate Slip, they were able to undo her programming, rendering Bithia a free agent. Determined to take revenge, she would go on to capture and imprison Transitus in an amber prison. At last, justice was served.

But this was not enough, for Bithia’s life had been forever changed. Her attempts at continuing to live as a family with Nimdok and Miri didn’t work out, and it seemed only a matter of time before she decided to leave and find her own way in the galaxy. Her new body has many advantages, enabling her to do things she never would have dreamed of as a human, and she is determined not to let this potential go to waste. She took control over Transitus' manufacturing company, For All Seasons, becoming its new CEO and donating most of the money she earns to charities. In addition she has a double life as a mercenary and vigilante, using her combat prowess and other skills to help others.

Reason for Moving to Pre-Codex: Something went wrong with the formatting, and the information is in dire need of an update. I really slept on this one and it's embarrassing to look at it now.
Don't forget to include a list of changes. You can tag a member of Codex Staff or use the "Ready for Judgement" tag when you're good to go.
