Intent: To solidify the limitations of the armor Gilamar wears so as to not incur powergaming when in PVP and to flesh out the character, given his new role as Mand'alor, the 'sole ruler" of the Mandalorians
Development Thread: Blam
Manufacturer: Mythosaur Customs and Arms
Model: Beskar'gam
Affiliation: Gilamar Skirata
Modularity: Yes
Production: Unique
Material:
  • Insulated Body Glove
  • Beskar
  • Ciridium
Description:
Forged in the fires of war, the beskar'gam that Gilamar dons in battle was custom made for him soon after his introduction into the role of Mand'alor. Simple at a glance when compared to some other more elaborate armors, Gilamar's armor could be considered "full" armor, leaving gaps only where necessary for movement and flexibility. The armor itself is filled to the brim with standard tech, what makes this armor special is its ability to adapt and use the K'uur jurkadir fire system interchangeably with a jetpack. Prior to this, his armor had no such capability as it was not something he saw himself using. However, with war on the rise, he needed to make a statement, and that statement was in his armor.

Versitile and flexible thanks to his two percent Ciridium plates, the armor is also vacuum sealed for to allow limited use in space. Made from beskar, the armor is also highly resistant to common small arms fire and lightsabers. Unlike some Mandalorian chiefs and Mand'alors before him, Gilamar does not use crushuants, preferring instead to use a deployable targe installed in his left gauntlet. The targe consists of nine beskar wedges that deploy from the main wedge to form a circular shield of about 18 inches in diameter. Through all this his armor still suffers from the same weaknesses as any standard armor with a HUD. Because his HUD offers a 360 degree field of vision, flash grenades of any sort in near proximity will affect him more than the average person. It is also doable to overwhelm his sensors. EMPs also work exceedingly well, as without any of his tech, his armor is literally a metal bucket.

I’m going to want some solid dev threads with you obtaining the materials/tech and then making this. As you’re a Mando you have access to Beskar, but I still want you to make this armour.

9.5 is too high for armour given to players. I think that a maximum of 8.5 is good, though you can specify different numbers for different attacks and rate them accordingly.

I’d also like to know more about this arm shield.

Will have it done on the 'morrow
But on a side note the reason for the weight fluctuation is because the back portion of the armor is not always equpped which attributes not only the odd number weight but the difference between 11kg and 22kg
