Description: Quick on its feet, the Beskad-class Patrol ship is the go to ship to many mercenaries and militiamen and women throughout Mandalorian space. With enough space to hold several passengers and easily modified, this ship has seen use in a variety of roles, from escort to prisoner transport. The Beskad-class Patrol Ship's design was drawn up well before Gilamar's start as CEO of MandalMotors. Its design could be traced back to the early days of the Gulag plague where such a patrol ship was needed in order to take down ships that may be attempting to cross into Mandalorian space in order to keep the mysterious disease from spreading. However, the plan never left the ground and it was tossed into a rather large filling cabinet of scrapped designs.

When going through old designs in order to bring back cheap ships for the perceived coming war between the Republic and the Mandalorians, Gilamar happened on the design. With modern weaponry and navigation tech, it is now up to par with other ships of its class. Originally designed for long stints in space, the ship is incredibly modular with dozens of false walls and panels allowing for the storage of extra consumables, people, and even cargo. The three rooms and cargo hold come completely empty, all with the proper connectors and ports for any sort of configuration, leaving its true role up to its buyer. It is a possibility that the design was scrapped specifically for this reason, in fear that people would get a hold of this ship and begin smuggling people in and out of systems. Now it serves as one of MandalMotors' civilian freighter-type ships.

This is almost there, but not quite. The description needs to be beefier, detailing a bit of its history and capabilities. As well, very few starships beyond a starfighter have an optimal crew of one. Even the Slave I, which this looks to be based off of, had an optimal crew of 2. And on one last note, if you're going to list modularity as "extensive", you need to detail that out a bit more in the description and in other areas.

I'm gonna have to ask that either the number of guns be toned down (repeating is a modifier we now recognize on sub-capital ships) or the speed increased to 4. Freighters either have speed or power, barring a lengthy dev thread.

I make the distinction because, as according to the Speed Chart, gunships and freighters are normally Speed 4, but some freighters make Speed 3 by carrying only one or two laser cannons.
