Before you Dare. (Mando Training thread)

[SIZE=18pt]Location: Camp Crysalis, Wayland (40 miles from Mount Warden)[/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]Aedan Miles stood on a hilltop looking down at the camp that had been erected near to his mountain fortress. His mismatched eyes gleaming brightly as he finally started to move as of late he had been troubled. He wondered down into the camp slowly his eyes gleaming as he looked around taking in the clan symbols scattered around. As he moved various members of his own clan moved to greet him hearing members of other clans call out greetings. He was the War Master of the Mando’s and he had found them lacking. It was time for them to learn and he would make sure the lesson was harsh. He had called for help from friends of his to come and assist him in training those who lacked the Force in how to fight against those who had it. As he walked one of his men approached and handed off to him the haft of his newest weapon gloved fingers closing around the smooth wood of the weapon as he grinned. Nodding he made his way to the muster area as runners were sent out to gather everyone together. The time had come for him to announce what would be happening and it was time for everyone to find out what just would be taking place here.[/SIZE]

His armor was old, it hadn't been updated in some time. There were gaps in its effectiveness, some he had left that way for when he had time to adjust and modify it. The time never really came. While his Teräs Käsi had been drilled into exhaustion, his armor modularity needed work. He'd fought Jedi before, sure, but none of them masters of the Force. He'd jump from carriers to reach the ground and his enemies faster. More often than not he'd assign himself or be assigned to an assault division. Get the Sociph in close and he would execute with little trouble. His beskad and tomahawk could defend against the saber if he didn't use his own armor and body as a weapon, there was always a but.

He'd been gone for some time, both from this sector of space and from the rest of the galaxy itself. Most of his time was spent in isolation, the moments he actually stepped from his self imposed seclusion, he was preparing for what was coming.

There were always gaps, and if this man was everything he'd heard, he was in for a challenge he hadn't experienced for some time.

How else would Aedan Miles teach the Mandalorians how to defeat Force Users? He called in a friend. Ginnie Dib, Witch Elder and pyromancer, would put the NFU forces on their credits, or on their backsides. Tough love time, on Wayland. But as the troops gathered for training, Ginnie stood beside a slight blonde, whose slowly growing belly fit snug in her Mandalorian Naval Captain’s uniform.

“You like that Academy, Livia? For the kids?” [member="Livia Maddox"] nodded as she held her hand on her growing stomach. Tuuli Miles, Aedan and Livia’s firstborn played with two toy ships near his mother’s feet. Bright light eyes and dark hair melded with pale skin, as Tuuli burbled out engine noises and the sounds of a battle of his own creation.

“It’s a lovely place, Ginnie. Excellent instructors, and the children are wonderful. Rhae and Amaa would be most welcome pupils. Isn’t that right, darling?” Livia turned to view her [member="Aedan Miles"], only to see Aedan was already off toward the training ground. “Oh goodness, Tuuli, my love come with Mum! We’re going to see Daddy and Aunt Ginnie bash a few underprepared Mandalorians!”

“Yay! Bam! Wham! Pew pew pew! When can I play too?!” Tuuli ‘flew’ his model ships and ran to his mother, listening to her groan as she picked him up.

“You too? Give me a few more years, gracious me! What am I going to do with two of you, eh!? Good thing I can command a fleet. At this rate we’ll be stocking half the navy with officers in another decade.” Livia’s laugh rang out as she padded off to watch the proceedings, Ginnie by her side.

“Two’s not so bad. Think of poor Yash, gosh her place’s toddler central. Guess that’s my cue. Hey, watch Rhae and Amaa for me?” Ginnie blew Livia a kiss, and chuckled as she took off toward the training ground.

“You want full pyro, Aedan? Or are we letting the lil’nugget have the ‘zounds! Aauggh! Oh noooo!’ Fun?” Clad in her armour, Ginnie slammed her fists together and sparks flew round her.

Ginnie’s perpetual sour expression lightened. Now she could help the Mando’ade.

She could help teach them how to win.

“Where is the ad’ika, anyway?” Ginnie scanned the horizon, waiting for the shadow which would fly in from above.

He answered the call and made his way over to [member="Aedan Miles"]'s location he decided to dawn his Beskar'gam that he hasn't warn in a long time since he was apart of the Mandalorian Civil war when he decided to join [member="Muad Dib"] for some twisted reason, When he approached the compound he noticed several others already gathering and he followed one of the guards to where everyone was gathering. He was curios what Aedan had in mind today but if he called for these folk and then some it must be something but and entertaining and it was about time Rapax got into more of the Mandalorian affairs then just one planets worth of small work.

Beth arrived a bit late to the training. She had promised to come as someone who, not to brag, was fairly adept at the Force. Or at least so she thought, anyway. Plenty of people were stronger – like [member="Ginnie Dib"] and [member="Rapax"] and [member="Aedan Miles"]. Years of training, working, and improving themselves compared to Beth’s relatively shorter life.

In a simple shirt & jeans, Beth stretched her body on the edge of where the training would take place. She needed her body to be ready, prepared. The small bump appearing on her stomach was quickly, quicker than she had expected, becoming visible. Species mix, or so the doctors said. Bah. At least no one had tried to put her on bed rest.

[member="Kaine Australis"] seemed to be in the group. And a [member="Nicair Claden"]. She had a couple special abilities – air and water manipulation along with emerald judgement being her most offensive abilities. But some Force persuasion could do some nasty if someone wasn’t prepared against it. Having been living on Sposia for a little bit, it felt a little weird to be back.

Maybe she’d even get some time to talk to her dad again. Maybe.

Alor of Clan Gred, Mando'ad'jetii
The Basilisk slowly flew overhead and landed at the training location. Out of it walked Mig and Talyn, who had her shriek-hawk Cloud on her shoulder. Most who saw the hawk may notice it's beak wouldn't close right, explaining why Talyn had Cloud. The alor and his clanmate had come to help train vod to fight Force Sensitive individuals, and Gred was a clan that knew what they were doing on both sides of Force combat. Mig looked around to see everyone there, smiling a bit. Plenty of strong Force users to actually get good training from. Still, Mig mostly stayed quiet as he walked up.
